--A creek not far from Ferravale--

Shadowfur walks along the stream and nods "Well, now I am in charge, I know Rafe is in on the plan as is Hook and Nails" The two rats nod as Shadowfur looks at Retha, “You, I am unsure of"

Retha frowns, "I..I will do as you say Shadowfur, please I won’t even tell anyone of this meeting"

Rafe smirks as he growls "When does phase 2 end, I want to smash things and not be listing to the chieftain of this village, when do we take care of him?"

Shadowfur answers, "Soon..soon, we have to keep things in order, I still do mill work and Rafe, try to get closer to the head guard, gain trust..whatever takes put up with it and Retha, you also..gain trust of that Scioto and even the healer hare"

Nails smiles coldly, “I like tricking beasts” His brother Hook agrees “Yes it’s the best kind of fun”

Retha nods slowly, "Y..Yes sir but I only sing and dance."

Rafe frowns, "I do not like the hare but fine, I will gain trust and pretend to befriend it."

Shadowfur growls low. "Just do it, Phase 2 is simple, further slow takeover of the village from the inside, we wait then strike. First the chieftain...then his head guard, they are the main ones, but no killing of the chieftain yet, Head guard kill if wish...but not right away for either one of these things, this happens after a little while."

Retha listens to every word, she looks like she rather not but out of fear she listens.

Rafe snorts. "As wish sir. I will be better friends with the hare and chieftain, what of the head guard umm..Raymond?"

Shadowfur looks over the stream, "Simple, do not look like your not trusted, help him with things like tavern rebuilding, we will want a tavern after all why Marek blew it up is beyond me"

Retha says, "But..Marek is dead..isn’t he?"

Rafe shrugs and looks at Shadowfur, "I can help with ideas on defense and finding stone mason...yes where is Marek?"

The rat brothers await an answer as well.

Shadowfur smiles coldly, "Oh  he is alive but as far as they know he is dead and gone, fools at that abbey and guess here will believe everything...that he was killed and buried weapon and all...fools believed it and took it as truth, this helps make the plan all the more rich and wonderful, Marek is in hiding and will be back when the time is right"

Retha frowns," But.." .She decides to not question it and stays quiet.

Rafe grins, "Yes all sounds good or..evil rather, I cannot wait till can have some control of de village, will be fun."

Shadowfur walks over to Retha and glares down at her, "You seem to not wish to be part of this, there is of course a way out once you join, but its death"

Retha gasps,"I..please don’t hurt me I will do whatever you say Shadowfur, I promise"

Rafe draws a blade and looks ready to slay her on the spot

Nails draws forth his longbow and aims as does Hook with his longbow.

Shadowfur puts up a paw, "Wait Rafe,..you can live Retha but one slip up and you die, maybe not right away but first chance  get  I right afterwards" He smiles coldly “You two..Nails..Hook, stand down”

Retha whimpers, "I..I promise, I will obey"

Rafe grips the sword but lowers it slowly and glances at Retha, he awaits command from Shadowfur.

Nails growls low and backs up lowering the bow, his brother  sits down by the stream bank.

Shadowfur nods "Good plan, now get out of my sight" He says to Retha.

Retha gulps and rushes off in tears

Rafe chuckles coldly as ferret rushes off and looks at Shadowfur for any other orders.

Shadowfur smirks, he nods to the rats and Rafe "Alright proceed as planned, I will let you know when to strike"

Rafe nods and heads off to the entry, he is after all a guard.

Nails pulls his brother up and the two head off to find Ale and some food.

Shadowfur smiles coldly and heads to the mill on the way he sees Retha and walks over to her.

Retha wipes away some tears and frowns at him.

Shadowfur smiles coldly “Remember what I said, so dry the tears and if ya can’t it best be another reason your upset lass”

Retha nods slowly “Yes sir”

Shadowfur smirks “Good lass” He then turns and goes into the mill without further words with the ferret girl.

-The next day-

Shadowfur nods to the group as they are gathered, “Now, so far the plan is going well we just need to figure out how to go about it, get Scioto and trick the village beasts see I report him missing and I was knocked out, I will even led the search and get Raymond and his best men to go look for Scioto, who of course they don’t find but they won’t know that”

Rafe chuckles coldly. “I am lovin’ this plan, so when doing plan?”

Nails and his brother Hook also are curious.

Retha has been invited or basically told to be here so just stays quiet, she is starting to dislike the idea of this, she speaks, “Why hurt beasts here, I rather like it here myself”

Shadowfur glares at her and narrows his eyes, “I think you should be hurt, maybe it’s best you were not part of Marek’s horde.”

Rafe gets out a blade, “I want to hurt someone..can I start with her?”

Retha gasps and backs up almost falling into the stream, “Please, no..I just” She frowns “I will stay but I don’t want to hurt anyone I..I am loyal please”

Shadowfur hmmms, “Loyal? He smirks “Then you’re the one to get Scioto somewhere, so one of us can knock him out and take him captive, then stay quiet and pretend to know nothing of this and you live, betray me and Marek and…you die”

Nails folds his arms over his chest and Hook just looks bored and tried.

Rafe waits on instruction from Shadowfur, he still has the blade out.

Retha shivers but nods “Yes ,yes I understand, just tell me when and where”

Shadowfur smiles coldly, “Good lass, Rafe lower the blade it’s ok, she knows the price of betrayal”

Rafe mutters but puts away the blade, “I go guard now” He leaves quietly still muttering some.

The two rats also head off leaving the two alone.

Retha gulps and frowns, she backs up a little then quickly starts  heads to the town hall as she needs to get her mind off this and a good meal, drink and song will help with that as she is still a singer and dancer no matter what.

Shadowfur smirks, “All is coming along nicely.” He looks at Retha, “Retha dear..wait just a few”

Retha frowns but stops and obeys him, “Yes sir?” she asks quietly.

Shadowfur walks over, “I do hope you understand,  my idea get him to his office or outside his home, he has no one in that cell, I looked, you know that would be prefect his office, his own office, I will be there and so will Rafe, a meeting of supplies of the village, I even have a list that’s of course correct in mill supplies, he can look it over and..Rafe knocks him out from behind as me and you, yes ME and you stand in front of him for I do not wish for you to slip up, you are to tell him the miller wishes to discuss important supplies with him, he will then go to the office where I am waiting, we talk and he is knocked out and given a small little bit of a knockout herb as well to make sure he is out 1-2 hours, I get him out and to a temporary place, and later to a more private  place, hee”

Retha asks, “How, they will see you carrying him away?”

Shadowfur smirks, “I got that covered lass and afterwards when I get back, you saw…nothing, and I didn’t right away then..oh no the chieftain is missing, send out the troops and look and all the while they are distracted, less guards as their precious chieftain has been taken, so the trouble MUST be outside the village..in a way yes that’s true but”

Retha frowns but still listens.

Shadowfur chuckles, “Go on Retha I expect you to carry this out in two days’ time, after night has fallen,  They will think the trouble is outside the village when only part of it is “. He smiles coldly. “Now the real trouble, that’s to come very shortly afterwards, that’s when the –real- fun begins.”
