Three days later. Three long days later since the arrivial at the dirt path. And the group; Two rats, four stoats, two and a half otters, and one small weasel, finally arrive back home. Back at Moledeep. They enter the familiar clearing. And Aikuen cant help but chuckle, "Long time... no see!" he grins, as he helps his wife over a fallen log.

Kentar had been walking with his crutch the last few days and Garnet had taken the place in the wheel chair, thanks to Robin's suggestion, rather then push an empty chair. Garnet was quite happy with that and only had to get out when they went over the fallen log. "Haha. We're home! I can't wait to get inside!" he laughs.

Will navigates Amy's chair around the log and nods, "Very long. It's good t be back. .... wonder what th gardens are like now." He doesn't know much about gardening and doesn't have much hope for their vegetable garden.

Aikuen, after helping his wife, runs toward the middle of the clearing. He takes a big ole whiff of the air, "AHHHHHHH! That feels so good!" he chuckles. Fira grunts a little bit and follows Aik. The younger otter takes his arm, not reading what he said, but got the gist of it anyway, "Bout time!" she smirks at him. Aik grins, and nuzzle her quickly before looking back to the others, "Okay the stoat family are going to go inside!" he looks to Will, "And me and the wifey are going to check on the garden... You guys... can do whatever!" he points to the rats.

Kentar hobbles along into moledeep, nodding and waving. Him, his sons, and then his wife all enter moledeep, lost from view of the outside.

Will shrugs, "I guess we'll head inside then, unless you need help with th gardens, Pa." He heads toward the entrance planing to take Amy in either way and help her get settled somewhere before doing anything else.

Aikuen nods, and leads Fira off to the gardens, "No thanks, we can do it. Well be right back. Just seeing how the garden is. Then we will see you guys inside!" he waves. The otters go over to the garden. Its not pretty. Though it could have been a lot worse. The lack of watering, and the fact the it should have been harvested weeks ago, has done a number on the plants. About 30 percent of the garden has dried out, or rotted away. The rest are fine, but not great. Aik bends down and picks a few of the more select, before nodding at her, "This will work enough... Maybe..." Fira shakes her head and sighs. Aik nods, "Aye..." and he leads her into Molehall.

Moledeep: Mole Hall

Will enters Mole Hall and starts to wheel Amy to the infirmary. Kentar is heading the same way with his crutch and Robin is with him. So a race is on. Robin wins and the rats come in second, it's all in fun. Will helps Amy out of her chair and onto a bed and seeing that she and Kentar are both drifting off to sleep he walks back to the hall to see what the other are doing.

Aikuen and Fira are sitting at their spot at the table. Aik is sitting on one of the normal chairs at the table, but Fira insisted on having one of the rocker chairs from the burrow. She slowly rocks munching on a bit of Aik's biscuits while Aik is discussing the situation about the garden, "With the vegetables kinda down sized... were not going to make it through the winter. Completely... But we will do, like we normally do. When our food runs out, feed off the abbey again until spring..." Fira nods, and looks out one of things he picked, "At least all the hotroot plants survived..." Aik chuckles and picks up the strange orange ginger looking plant, "Aye!" he laughs.

Will takes a seat at the table, "That's good news. That all th hotroot made it. When do you think we'll need t go to th Abbey for supplies again?" he asks.

Aikuen thinks for a minute, "I'm not quite sure. Probably once before winter. Maybe when the first snowfall. Just to be sure... That's the worst case scenario. We probably need supplies right now..." he thinks again and then duhs, "Ill need to get some things... For our young...." he nods at Fira. Aik hmms as he thinks this over.

Will nods, "There's th market too but it's not free like stuff at th Abbey are. If they don't have something we need at th Abbey we could look there."

Aikuen nods, "There is. But me, personally, don't like to go down there. So i may send you with errands if need be. But everything, that i can think of, i can get at the abbey." he names off a few, "Lets see... More Greensap milk. Honey. Flour as always... New blankets, gonna be a cold winter... Some new cloth for the young, and us of course. The normal stuff... Can you think of anything else?" he looks to Will.

"You got something t make a bed for em or something? .... hmm. Can't think of much else. Nothing we can't make ourselves anyway," Will says leaning back in his chair.

Aikuen shrugs. Haven't really though about it, "Eh... yah. Make a crib, Like Kentar has got. But most likely we will use his now. As Chris is getting a little big for it. In fact i don't think he can fit in it anymore!" he chuckles, "Yep. Well make a list, and get it soon. Or you can of course... As I'm not..." he places his paws on the side of his mouth, "I'm not leaving her side until... i can rest easy again..." meaning until the little one is out.

Will nods, "Ok. Probably can get everything at th Abbey. Let me know if you think of anything else we might need before I head over there. Won't leave too soon but maybe in a few days unless you really need me to leave sooner."

Aikuen nods and smiles at him, "Look at my son. Growing up to be so helpful!" he grins, "Righto mate, i write it on the list, if i remember something. Lets see... I have everything i need... for the big day... So I'm good there..." he shrugs, "My memory is not really working correctly at the moment. I'm sure something will come up..." he chuckles and starts to rub Fira's paw.

Aikuen smiles at Will, "Eh? A wagon? I leave that up too you mate... I'll help of course..." he grins at him. Fira smiles at Will. That made her feel all warm inside. Aik pats her paw, "You're going to be a great older brother..."

Will beams, "Thanks. I'll try t be a good brother to him."

Aikuen points out, "Or her... Well find out soon enough..." he laughs. Fira has finished off her biscuit, and yawns loudly. Aik says, "Come on on honey... I think its time for a very beautiful otter. To get some sleep in a bed for once!" he laughs. Fira frowns, smirks at him, all at the same time. After a bit she nods, "Fine then..." She smiles. Aik grins at her, and helps her out of her chair, "Will... you'll be a great older brother. Wether you know it or not... Night Son!" Fira waves, "Night Will!" Aik says, "Will! Get over here and give your parents a hug!" he laughs.

Will laughs and goes over to hug Aikuen "Night, Pa." Then he walks over and hugs Fira lightly. "Night, Mum. And night little otter," he chuckles before breaking the hug to head off toward the infirm where he'd left Amy.

Aikuen smiles, and gives his son a pat before he runs off. He grins, "Come on darling..." and he... oh wait, she leads him into their room in the sleeping hall. They kiss each other good night, and head off to bed. Fira snuggles up to him, as much as she can, and quickly drifts off. Aik on the other hand is still awake. And will be for a bit. He hugs her tightly, "I'm not going to lose you..." he repeats to his self. Over an over. Until he finally drifts off as well
