 FV:Tavern
 Outside a sign swings on a rusty creaking frame above the doorway of the tavern depicting a faded painting of what appears to be three rather rich looking skeletons slumped over a table around a black chalice, perhaps such a thing could be taken as a warning but it doesn't appear to work on the locals. The noise within on a normal day is usually heard before the door is even opened and only rises in volume when one actually steps inside.
 There are the typical qualities of a tavern within, from the bar to the chairs and booths and the odd drunk who never seems to move it's the little details which encourage a patron to pay his tab if he likes his fingers. One look at some of the staff or customers might give the impression but the room is decorated to the fiercer tastes with bones, mostly skulls cropping up here and there to fill a gap on a shelf or decorating the walls above the doorways, fireplace and bar, a pair of axes joining the one over the fire with some signs that they've been yanked off to join in a fight a couple of times. Some of the comfier chairs are lined with fur and very rarely one might be found with a few pointed bits of bone to decorate the back. Despite the looks there is entertainment and fun to be had, some form of music usually played on a small stage in the corner and at least one bouncer usually tries to keep the peace while beasts gamble, drink and be merry.
 A small door behind the bar leads out the back to the kitchen and cellars while one wall has been opened up in a wide arch to increase the space off into the next room where what seems to be a wooden fence with gates on either end has been set up as a fighting pit as further entertainment and something to bet over.

'''[[Scioto]]''' walks into the tavern, he has had a long day as he sits down and shakes his head.

'''[[Bramblefur]]''' steps over to Scioto and sits beside him “Hello to you Scioto, how is you this day fine ya?"

Scioto shrugs "About as fine as one can be I suppose, did you need something or have news maybe, some good news?"

Bramblefur nods "I be having news yes. Patrols been good and me and my guild find nothing that looks like needing reported and all trouble seems away now, maybe they get worried or scared, oh I ran into a trade beast and there is tea for you now if likening some?"

'''[[Jaxon]]''' slips into the tavern and sits down at a table where he can watch beasts.

Scioto nods "That is good, hmmms he was supposed to bring some silk also, then again he doesn’t always have any as he sells to Ruingate and Collinsel as well. Guess just the tea is fine, not that I always drink tea but sometimes."

Bramblefur nods "Well, perhaps sometimes then. Where is Marek, he still in his room a lot or you find out more on the odd, what was it a mouse or vole?"

Scioto frowns "I forgot but no and that reminds me him and I need to have a chat about that and seeing that the bandits seem gone then that’s one less thing to worry on and maybe the other problem has went elsewhere or won’t be this way at all. Need to chat and find out more as sometimes beasts do change their minds."

Jaxon orders an ale and stays where he is

Bramblefur nods again, "Sounds like good plan, you and Marek talk soon, over drinks maybe and discuss stuff will be good ta do, ya"

'''[[Zinnia]]''' enters the tavern and looks around as she takes her hood off and frowns, well her Uncle isn't in the tavern and she didn't see him in the Market place, she spots Scioto and goes over to where he is "Hey..Chieftain Scioto, have you seen my Uncle Zee? He said he lives here in the village now."

Scioto hmmms "True Bramblefur and drinks are fine.." He sees the badger and sighs, "Yes that old badger is in my village, where I don't know and I don’t really care. But yes he lives in the village now, not that I asked him to as he seems to have invited himself to live in my village"

'''[[Jaxon]]''' watches the small group, hmmms a badger interesting as he sips ale.

Bramblefur looks up and frowns slightly, he had not planned on the recorder being here as he looks at Scioto, " Well..anyways like said you should have meeting with Marek soon, sooner de better I say."

Zinnia says, "Can I stay for the meeting, I could record important info that may be needed or wanted to be heard about"

Scioto sighs, "I..guess, it would be useful and you could deliver what we said to the abbey, it would save me a trip as I dislike trips to the abbey anymore, and before you say a word yes I know of the feast and I am NOT going to it."

Bramblefur sits quietly as they talk to one another and his ears go back slightly, he then stands " Well whoever is at meeting I would do during time tavern not so busy and maybe in far corner so not bothered"

Zinnia smiles "Thanks, well seeing as Marek is not here I think I may go find my Uncle Zee and visit him, well if I can find out where he is in the village that is and I can stay with him no need for an inn room."

Scioto says, "Yes we do need Marek here, he is most likely in his room I will go tell him and we can have the meeting tonight, I can even close off the tavern and have a guard or two make sure we are not disturbed by guarding the tavern door and letting no one in."

Bramblefur grins "Is sounding like good plan, no one disturb meeting, that is wise plan and good one to do. I will try to show up but you know..guild and all so may be busy."

Zinnia gives a nod "I will make sure Uncle Zee stays in his house, I am sure he will listen to me, besides I will just let him read my notes and that should be fine with him, besides he probably fall asleep a couple times anyways if he came "

Scioto says, "Yes please keep him away, just me, Marek, you and maybe Bramblefur. The two guards will stay outside the tavern and let no one in till I say it’s ok and if it’s some important beast or I need a very important message a guard can interrupt but ONLY a guard. The only other one besides a guard would be my seer but other than that no one else may enter."

Bramblefur smiles at this, he is pleased and knows the guards will follow any order given by their chieftain, "Good, all is good so meeting should go with no problems yes?"

Scioto says, "Yes no problems just serious talking "

Zinnia says, "And writing down in my recorder logs, which I will keep out of paws of anyone not needing to see it, I will only show to those you state can see it Scioto"

Scioto says, "Good, Thank you Sister Zinnia"

Bramblefur just nods as he listens.

Scioto stands "Alright all is dismissed and meet back here tonight" He then heads upstairs.

 FV:Tavern:Guest Room
 This is a slightly fancy guest room for special guests, whether they are vermin or woodlander. There is a large bed with light blue sheets and pillows and a warm thick dark blue blanket on the bed as well. A window looks out to see Ferravale and has dark blue curtains on it. By the bed is a wash basin on top of a round cheery wood table. Also inside here is a couple light blue soft chairs to sit in, and a chest to keep personal belongings is at the foot of the bed. A couple candles are here for light. A door heads back into the hallway.

It was about 3 hours later and they decided it be best to just have a meeting in the small guest room. In the meeting were Marek, Zaram his assistant and Scioto. Zinnia also joined them mainly to record what was said .

Scioto clears his throat, “Ok now let us start and get this meeting over with, I have a guard outside the door and they are to let no one in, if it’s important they can knock and then let us know what it is but I told them it had to be majorly important as this meeting is important and to not disturb us till it’s over.”

Bramblefur enters the room and nods, he has some tea he seems to have made and a plate of cheese  scones. He sits the items down carefully and steps back to the door as he speaks, sounding a little stuffed up, “There be anything else needing I need to get back to my guild.” He seems to have a small cough, not much of one, “Sorry getting small cold maybe…”

'''[[Marek]]''' glances at the wildcat and shakes his head “We need nothing else but some peace and quiet so we can have this meeting Mr. Bramblefur so please excuse yourself and be on your way and if you do have a cold I suggest speaking with that new healer lass in the infirm.”

Zinnia stays seated in her chair as she  tries to relax, meetings always made her nervous, though not as much as they use to as she take a very small sip of the tea and a bite of cheese scone.

Scioto motions for Bramblefur to leave the room, he has yet to even taste the tea yet as he is not really much of a tea drinker, but he will sometimes drink it when there is nothing else to drink.

Bramblefur exits and shuts the door. He took one cup of tea he had and grins as he hands it to the guard, “Some tea, tis a special tea me and some friends made and one never knows just how long that meeting will last.” He didn’t get any of the scones, though the scones are just something a tavern cook gave him and he took them to not look out of place.

The guard takes the tea and nods as he takes a long sip and coughs, “Can’t say this is the best for a drink then can’t drink ale while on the job” He chuckles and drinks more of the tea, in fact almost all of it as he missed lunch and he was thirsty and that leads to his mistake it would seem. Then the guard dint know, no one but the wildcat knew as the guard gasps for breath and drops the cup and starts coughing and gasping for breath as he looks at Bramblefur barely getting out a weak “Help..me”

Bramblefur stays where he is, calm as can be” Help you? Why would I do that, seems your dying just fine on ya own ya? I just didn’t need anyone helping those beasts inside, sadly one is Redwall beast but can’t do much on that and by time beast find them be too late. They were not to be disturbed so why would beast check on them yes? “

The guard eyes widen in shock and he tries to get his blade and shivers, he then collapses and his breathing comes to a stop and his heart stops shortly after this. The guard is dead.

Bramblefur sits the guard against the  doorway and smirks, He gets out a handkerchief and blows his nose, hmms nose plugs? “Guess should not of drank tea so quickly, oh well..you stay watch ya” He chuckles at the joke and picks up the cup and walks away. He will just say must have been the trade beast, he heads back to the campsite of the bandits where, for now, the rest of the poisoned tea is till they get further instructions on what to do with the rest of it.

Inside the room Marek  puts on his glasses and looks at a paper he has he has written some notes on. “We need to discuss Irinevok and what I know of his plans, knowing him he changed them some to better fit his idea of what he calls control. It’s true he burned my village down and killed lots of innocent beasts, but he has not set fire everywhere he went. So far just my village was burnt down as far as I know. He is a very skilled fighter and can fool some into thinking he is weak, when he is far from weak. He was heading slowly south and most likely still is. Last we heard he was looking for a good black smith and maybe Coldclaw is working for him now, we need to find this out as Coldclaw and his gang were looking for a blacksmith and seem to have just ended that idea and not been seen the last couple weeks.”

Zinnia nods “I am ready to record whats needed. I believe it’s important to know whats going on and as the recorder of the abbey I am writing down this important meeting for future looking or soon looking at. I also will let you know I keep all recorder logs that are 1-2 seasons old with me and something like this meeting will be kept separate from the other logs but still marked as happening in this season.”

Marek nods as he adds, “A Recorder must be a very interesting job for one your age and you are also very well spoken for a beast your age as well lass.”

Scioto nods as he listens and nibbles a cheese scone,” Those bandits seem to have left, perhaps we scared them off and if that’s the case I am glad for it. ”He starts to take a sip of tea and makes a face barely getting much of a taste, he scoots the cup away as he is reminded just why he dislikes the stuff.

Zinnia writes down a couple things and has ate half of a cheese scone when she coughs a little and as must do when they cough she gets something to drink, and that is the tea and she takes a couple sips of it but only coughs more as she sits the cup down and frowns. She frowns as she looks concern as the coughing is worse and she speaks “Having..trouble..breathing..”

Marek raises an eyebrow, “Lass?” He looks at the tea and gets a look of fear as he takes a very small whiff of it and throws the cup onto the floor, “Zaram..the..the thing now!” Sound of panic in his voice “Don’t drink the tea, don’t even take a smell of that tea.” He coughs a little as Zaram hands in an odd looking herb that he quickly starts to chew on and he grabs another as he heads over to Zinnia to force her to chew it as well. ”Scioto..take that herb!”

Scioto was just about to take another small sip when he coughs from the tea fumes, he takes the herb and chews it standing and backing away from the table. Well that explains the taste maybe, even if it was barely a taste of tea and turns out may have been a good thing he barely tasted the tea.

Zaram, for safety reasons, also takes a little of the herb and frowns at the tea, ”Oi do believe we needs to be leavin hurr verr soifty reasons, zurrs”

Zinnia is still gasping for breath when the herb goes into her mouth, she almost gags but manages to chew barely and shallow with a little help. But her pulse is very low and her breathing is weak.

Marek does his best to get her to shallow the antidote as he shallows his dose of it, he looks to Scioto on help getting the badger maid out of the room as fumes are still in here as he coughs roughly.

Scioto helps him get Zinnia out and notices the guard, he coughs and finishes getting some antidote down himself as he checks the guard and jerks a paw away “Guard..d..dead.” He coughs and sits by the doorway.

Zaram  luckily didn’t drink any tea or got very little of  the fumes in his nose, but he took the antidote as a just in case knowing full way how deadly the poison can be.

Marek coughs as his breathing isn’t too great it’s self but he didn’t drink any and only got some fumes, he takes a couple deep breaths, “ Very bad..poison. That herb Zaram has was antidote. The antidote can make you ill, sometimes really ill but it’s better than dying of the poison. I have made it my duty to know every poison and antidote and…and I have encountered that poison in my far past, you don’t forget it and so I make sure I have antidotes for poisons I know, some sadly have, have no antidote and this one does but it’s rare only grows two weeks in winter, but if gather and dry it , it stays good for a while. The poison grows end of winter and beginning of spring…-coughs and vomits up a little- ..We..best get to the infirm, Ms. Zinnia needs to get there very quickly.”

Zinnia coughs roughly and does vomit up most of the tea and whatever she ate of the scones and maybe lunch, she groans and shivers as she lets out a weak cough and her breathing and pulse still show to not be too good at all.

Scioto glares at the fact an antidote can make one ill, he coughs up a little and cusses as he sits down feeling dizzy and ill now, he can breathe but his chest hurts a little, “The infirm sounds like …like good plan Marek, we need to find out where that tea came from.”

Zaram stays close and frowns not feeling good, most likely the side effects of the antidote, he goes to get a couple guards and finds a couple fox guards and a ferret who are quickly heading to Scioto’s side.

Marek allows the help as he coughs a couple times, “Not..suggesting going in that room without something over one’s nose and mouth, the tea has a deadly poison in it-coughs- It needs cleaned up and disposed of in a safe place."

Zinnia has passed out and will need to be carried, luckily the two foxes can help with that and go to get her to the infirm first seeing as she needs the most help right now.

Scioto groans but manages to talk some to the stoat and ferret guard, “Find out who..who gave Bramblefur that tea, in ..fact-coughs roughly and almost vomits on the guard as he frowns…”Find him too…need to lay down now. S…some beast wanted us dead, need to find out who and if any more of tea is in tavern..get rid of it”  He says as he leans against the guard.

Marek nods in agreement, “Yes carefully get rid of the tea” He coughs and shakes his head, he dislikes feeling ill but side effects of the antidote far outweigh the effect of the poison which there is still some effects of based on how much was smelled or drank, but  without the antidote they surely all be dead by now.

''All of them is helped to the infirm and tended to by the healers.''

 FV:Infirm:Main Room
 This is the infirm. The far walls are lined with simple cots with clean sheets and pillows. The sheets and pillows are mainly white and blue.The room is keep clean and well sweeped. Cabnets are agaist one wall full of healing supplies and herbs,each marked in its own jar. A examineing table is seen and a wash basin.

Zinnia is in worse shape than the others as she drank some of the tea and not all of it came back up. She also got a little bit  the fumes from the tea, but the antidote has helped her to breathe a least a little better but she is far from out of danger as she is now in a deep faint. Her pulse weak and her breathing still shows signs of distress.

Marek is not nearly in as bad a shape as the badger but he is coughing once in a while, then he didn’t drink any, only a small amount of fumes.

Scioto still coughs a little but his breathing is fairly good just some faint problems, so he is most likely feeling a little worse than Marek but he did just barely get a taste of tea but both him and Marek did get some fumes.

Zaram stays seated on a cot, he is the one that was least effected as he didn’t taste the tea, as for smelling it there was only a faint sniff of it he had gotten before he clearly saw something was wrong and for sure when Marek had panicked. He will be able to help the healers some as any effects he has is from the antidote making him a little ill, but yeah like said before it’s better to be a little ill than dead.

Rayen pokes her head into the infirm having heard news of what happen from the tavern, she decides to come help as she is also a healer. “Do you need any help?”

The healer on duty nods “Any be most helpful miss, what we need is a good skilled healer our Master healer here doesn’t know everything.”

Rayen speaks “I can have some beast fetch Brother Leon from the abbey, I was about to send word that I was here over night and I can have the falcon bring back Brother Leon” She quickly heads outside to do just this.

Zinnia whimpers some and every so often shivers as she is in a deep faint and most likely won’t wake up anytime soon. Her pulse and breathing still weak.

Marek groans and lets himself also get some rest, his assistant Zaram stays by his side.

Scioto lays down and decides its best to sleep, a healer makes sure he is ok as he sleeps. And a guard stays beside him guarding the chieftain with his life.
