====Village of Ferravale======

All is silent in the conquered village as a hazy late-summer noon sun boils down on Ferravale.  If one listened faintly, they could hear: Scratch.   Scratch.  Scratch...In the tavern, unoccupied at the moment, spurts of rubble emerge from the filled-in tunnel, quietly clearing away until...the tunnels are open.  Quickly and quietly, a stream of dark figures flows into the building, utter silence strictly maintained.

Scioto stays quiet, he at first didn’t want the tunnel idea but it was best, even if brought back a little fear from before, he moves silent, sword at ready and he has his chainmail on for this battle, a few others stay close to him, ready for any given orders to come.

Seth is bored, bored..bored..bored, it's hot and he hates this weather, "It needs ta rain" He complains, he doesn’t notice anything odd in a building, then he is not a guard, so why guard

Oak shuffles up being Scioto, ready to attack when the moment strikes, he has positioned both sword and bow to be at the ready if need be.

Marek is sitting in the tavern, ordering some of his beasts to continue fixing the tavern, unsuspecting of what is going on beneath him

"Ferravale--attack," Nightbreath whispers softly, and the word is passed down the line of soldiers.  "On my mark--3...2...1..."

The tavern explodes into noise and chaos as the warriors surge into the tavern!

Scioto nods, a small group under his command go in for an attack as well, blades and swords as well as staffs and even a couple archers who carry daggers too, the rightful chieftain of Ferravale, Scioto, steps out also to join in the battle.

Seth coughs roughly on his ale "What the many seasons of!. What madness tis this!?"

Oak grins. "Hello...what is this you ask?......ABSOLUTE CHAOS!"  Within a few seconds Oak has already killed four of Marek's men with his sword. "That's what it is....hello Marek. We finally meet"

Marek blinks, drawing his sword. "I don't know who you are, squirrel and I do not care. But you will not take my village from me, and neither will this pathetic group of ambushers"  He smiles to Nighbtreath. "But I do see one familiar face, the one who killed my 2nd in command, quite an accomplishment. No matter, he was outgrowing his usefulness"

Nightbreath stares contemptuously at Marek before curtly saying, "Shut thy trap,"  As he slays a pair of foe beasts, one, two.  This is a well-organized plan and quickly the walls of the room are secure, and Marek's forces in the tavern are hemmed in the center.

Seth gets out his long thin dagger and stands ready to attack if need be, his ale forgotten now.

Scioto stays near his guards and some other Ferravale beasts who have joined to fight, some don’t fight well but they want their home back so they fight for that reason alone.

As the battle proceeds outside, Oak has taken to the streets with a few other soldiers

Marek himself flees outside as well, only to find more battle awaiting him, he frowns because he realizes loss is imminent, but Marek is a stubborn beast, and drawing his sword he faces as many beasts as he can...with the help of his horde of course

How brave of Marek.  Nightbreath cuts his way through the enemy soldiers with skill, Ferravale troops forming a wedge with him and Scioto at the head.  "Go, go, go!" He yells as he advances on Marek, fire in his eyes.

Seth tosses a couple daggers and smirks as a couple of Scioto's guards are hit and fall dead, "Poison daggers...gotta love it, I may be a healer doesn’t mean I always-save ya-"

Scioto ears go back as he growls low, one of the Ferravale beasts near him aims an arrow at Seth and they fire it in hopes it will hit its target, Inside and outside now the battle builds in Ferravale as beasts from both sides battle each other.

Oak laughs as he kills Marek's horde, he is a very chaotic mood today. "DEATH TO YOU ALL!"

Marek smirks. "Well done, Seth"  He slices at one of Nightbreath's soldiers. "You're numbers are much smaller than before, seer. You will find this an impossible feat"

Seth gets an arrow in the footpaw and pulls it out tossing it aside as he stays near his master and nods, he stabs at a ferret behind Marek with his last dagger and grins as said ferret dies , "Have a nice nap..thou will not wake"

"Nothing is impossible for those true of heart," Nightbreath says with a defiant grin as he slashes at Marek's neck, intending to take the stoat's head off.  "Prepare to die."

Scioto ducks and slashes at a fox that gets too close to him, the fox errks and falls, a nasty gash to the chest, the cat sidesteps another slice, this time from a rat, it gets him on the lower arm but it’s a small wound, he can still fight and does so.

Oak smirks as he finds a place to hide and fire arrows, Marek's already practically destroyed horde is now reaching critical numbers

Marek ducks and swings towards Nightbreath's legs. "Even If I fall, I will return, you cannot destroy what I have done. Mossflower will be mine"

Seth goes to help a fallen rat, dragging them off to the side to tend to wounds, he then slices at a ferret on the goodie good side with a blade he found on another beast, he chuckles and gets an ale, he drinks it down and breaks the glass over another Ferravale guards head, “Oppsie"

Nightbreath parries by turning his blade backwards, hilt-up, tip-down.  He whirls it again to right it and slashes from over his left shoulder in a mighty backhand.

Scioto fights with a couple rats from Mareks horde, one rat he disarms and they flee, the other he beheads and grips his sword.

Oak has practically disappeared in the shadow, only arrows can be seen, felling Marek's horde one by one.

Seth gasps as he about gets a sword in his side, he kicks at the beast and moves to another part of the bar, he picks up a stray dagger, luckily it’s not poison, it’s a normal dagger, he aims and flicks it at the Seer!

Marek blocks Nightbreath's swings (alebiet barely) he holds up a paw. "No...the seer is MINE!"

Nightbreath dodges in a swirl of his cloak and comes out of the twirl slashing downward at Marek furiously.

Scioto can see Nightbreath and Marek  battle from where he is and starts to slice at beasts to go help him, but is blocked by numerous beasts.

Seth cusses and calls out for a couple rats to try and attack the Seer, "Get away from my Master ya Seer!"

The arrows have stopped, Oak has run out. He runs back into the battle, only to suffer a leg wound from one of Marek's beasts, a nearby healer tends to his wounds, but Oak isn't going to be able to get back in the battle

Marek continues to fight Nighbreath. "Silence yourself, Seth. This ermine is mine, and I will kill him myself"

Seth can hear this but he still wants to help, he finds another dagger and flicks it, it’s a normal dagger but should still hurt all the same.

Nightbreath ducks the dagger and thrusts quickly under Marek's guard, adrenalin giving him incredible reflexes now.  Truly deadly in battle, this Seer.

Scioto fights off a few rats, one rat gets the tip of his tail, the cat hisses as he flattens his ears to his head and swipes his claws at a rat's face, only his tail tip but hey it’s his tail still, that’s now a few CMs shorter.

Marek jabs at Nightbreath's arm in an attempt to wound him. "I will have my vengeance seer, you have taken my best men, you have taken my village, and you have taken my plot away from me, but no matter. I will flee, I will rebuild,  I will return, and when I do, Mossflower WILL be mine"

Seth snorts, why does he keep missing this stupid Seer, “Kill the Seer! Make him die sir!"

Nightbreath laughs defiantly as he parries Marek's strike and slashes overhand, swish!  He follows up with an underhand thrust and last, a lateral slice at mid-chest level, all in a flurry of motion.

Seth tries to get closer to the seer, some on each side still fights, though Marek's side is less now, the healer rat gets closer to Marek and Nightbreath.

Scioto looks around as parts of the village are now back under his control and more get back under his control as the battle goes on, he smiles at this and fights onwards looking to see where Marek and Nightbreath got to.

Marek stabs at Nightbreath to wound him and runs off. "You win today seer, but I WILL return" He rapidly leaves the city along with (very) few horde members. Ferravale has won

Seth frowns, he goes to follow his master quickly, but not before he nods to an archer to fire at the seer, but the archer may be off balance as he gets stabbed by a guard as Seth growls and speeds up.

Nightbreath is wounded finally by the stab, and winces, sharply exhaling.  He doubles over in pain, causing the arrow to miss anyways.

---Bridge over The River Moss---

Marek is running towards the bridge out of breath, he sits down, knowing he must go soon, hoping to escape to plan another day

Zork happens to be here, he mutters to himself, "Tell me leave..whatever...huh?" He stops as his eyes go wide, he sees Marek right in front of him and draws out his long blade and points it at the stoat "YOU!"  He growls low and gets into a fighting stance.

Scioto is still a little ways off, he had stayed behind to finish off horde beasts foolish enough to stay in the village and not flee, so he is not by the bridge yet

Seth follows his master best he can and comes to a sliding halt when he sees the badger, "Boss..Look out it’s a stripe dog!"

Nightbreath sprints onto the bridge, ducking past Marek and drawing his sword, between Marek and the north side of the bridge now.

Marek gets up. "*sigh* must I put up with more of this"  He draws his sword and orders what very few (eleven) vermin he has left to face those who chased him down. "Kill them!!"

Zork looks like he rather face Marek himself, he raises the blade of The Northwing Storms and slices two of the horde beasts dead right away, "You’re the one that killed Maxtor!!" He is peeved, very peeved, not in bloodwrath but about as peeved like one IN bloodwrath, he kicks at a rat that manages to slice his leg and they sail through the air and land in the river as he snarls.

Seth stays by a tree, he is not going near a full grown badger, he is not stupid and he rather enjoys living.

Nightbreath  advances slowly at Marek, slaying two rats on his way.  "Prepare to die." He kicks the headless corpses aside and continues stalking forward, running another beast through and ripping the blade out of their lifeless husk.

Marek shakes his head. "You do not scare me seer, and you will not kill me. You are not a threat, but you “ He points to Zork “ The badger is"  He leads six of his nine remaining men to kill the badger and the other three to face the others.

Scioto has now caught up and has with him 5 Ferravale beasts, he nods and they go to fight the remaining horde beasts. He keeps a tight grip on his blade.

Zork growls as six vermin come out him, right away one gets a blade in the neck and dies, another is sliced in the chest and falls, the other four he backs up and has a little more trouble fighting as a rat gets a good slice at his arm, he snarls in pain and shoves another rat away as a third cuts into his leg, he is doing fairly well fighting four beasts, least for now he is.

Seth gets a couple poison daggers and flicks them at the Ferravale beasts, two fall so that leaves 3 left, he smirks and chuckles coldly.

 Nightbreath lashes out with his blade-rope, slicing at Marek with blinding speed, then retracting it and aiming it to wrap around the evil stoat's ankle.

Marek growls "The seer is MINE!"  He runs after Nightbreath, leaving the four men to take on Zork, although it is unlikely they will hold for long. The other three move to kill the others, but Marek is outmatched, and loss is clearly on the horizon

Zork growls and is beyond peeved now, he wants to get to Marek and slices at a ferret to do so, another ferret sinks a sword deep into the badgers shoulder, he snarls in pain as he tries to not get any more peeved and slices that ferrets head off and kicks the body away, he pants as blood leaks from his wounds and fights the one remaining vermin in his path as the other 5 are dead.

Seth has no more  poison daggers just a longbow he has brought, he aims and fires one of the handful of arrows he brought with him and fires at the Ferravale guards and one towards the badger as well.

Scioto has his guards still as they attack what’s left of the horde, one is hit with an arrow and an arrow barely misses Scioto.

Marek blocks the swings from Nightbreath but takes one in the leg. "Seer, I will...DIE...YOU...die...death"

Now that his blade-rope is wrapped around his target's ankle, Nightbreath snaps the rope like a whip, which should send Marek flying over the side of the bridge...

Zork grabs the last horde beast by the throat and slams them into the bridge, they stabbed him in the arm about two times, he growls and goes to charge at Marek, maybe manage a little push to shove him off the bridge, with his sword  if he is lucky!

Marek growls as Nightbreath throws him towards the bridge, but he stumbles next to it, he attempts to regain his balance, while his men have dwindled done to only two, who now flee the scene, Marek has lost. he starts to move, but Zork charges at him, he suffers a wound in his chest as he falls off the bridge, landing on a rock and floating down stream, he appears to be very much dead.

Seth watches this and backs up, he fires his last arrow at the badger and goes to quickly follow his master as he will need first aid quickly if he is to live.

Nightbreath  retracts his blade-rope with a grin, shaking his head as he gestures for the Ferravalians to deal with Seth.  But first..."Seth.  Surrender or die."

Zork pants as he is now very much worn out, he tenses up as the arrow hits him in the shoulder and he slowly sits down looking around a bit dazed now.

Seth glares but doesn’t stop his rushing off, "Later foolish seer!"

Zork looks at the various beasts and passes out from his wounds, he is alive but does SERIOUSLY need a healer.

Nightbreath stands gazing into the river.  He seems uncertain, but he holds his tongue, lost in thoughts only Seers think.

Seth is too far out of range to be caught now, off to where ever his master is.

Scioto sighs, he goes to check Zork and frowns, then he  is relieved the badger has a pulse but a weak one, he has his one guard get a healer from Ferravale as he and another guard try to help Zork best they can before the healer arrives.

Meanwhile  down the river the stoat Marek gets to shore, he opens one eye, not a beast is around, not birds, not woodlander, not vermin…NOONE!

Seth is here, he is the ONLY beast here, “Master!..” He quickly tends to the wounds with his healers pack, “I am here my Master…” He says quietly, he makes sure no one is around as under the cover of darkness he manages to get Marek to a hidden cave that has a lot of overgrown weeds in front of it and numerous dead logs and fallen trees, here they hide behind the strong scent of pine and mucky water.

Marek is tended too, his wounds deep and many but with his healers help he will survive and return!
