You have come upon a large orchards that has apple trees in one area, pear trees in another, some peach trees and some walnut and almond trees in another area of the orchards. A couple plum trees are on the far side of the orchards and on the sides some blackberry bushes and wild strawberries.A path heads back to the fields where crops grow.

Scioto is walking through the orchards, no real reason it’s just more quiet here to think and the snow is melting quickly, green buds even show on the trees and even some flowers here and there on flowering trees

Blisa is also in the orchards, picking flowers.  Ferdinand is also here (well, I would hope so) carrying a picnic basket.  He has a flower in tucked into the back of his shirt collar that he doesn't know about.

Scioto sits under one of the apple trees to relax; the day is a little breezy but no clouds in the sky so a picnic is a good idea.

Blisa spies her father and runs over to him, her paws full of spring wildflowers.  "Look what I found, Daddy!  I thought they'd look nice around the house in some vases."  Ferdinand comes up and sits next to the Chieftain, smiling peacefully and silently congratulating himself for bringing extra food.

Emyuil walks into the orchards, having decided to leave Redwall and vent his concern for his sister on the world at large.  His aimless, half-vengeful wanderings bring him here, and he walks in as if in a dream.

Scioto smiles and looks at the flowers, "They may indeed look nice in a couple places, not too many flowers around just yet but they do come out slowly now that it’s basically Spring"

Ferdinand sees the mouse and waves good-naturedly.  Hopefully the mouse won't want to have lunch....they don't have enough food in the basket.  Blisa smiles happily and cuddles up next to her father.  "I love spring.  It's so pretty, and it smells so good.  Are we going to have a festival this year?"

Emyuil ignores the wave and keeps trudging through the soil, his sword on his back and his eyes dark.  He's having trouble thinking.  The dreams he's been having and so much else, not the least of which is DoraRose's current state, cause his mind to have a minor short-circuit...

Scioto looks over at the mouse as he watches him; he then speaks to his daughter "Festival? I did not plan one really"

Ferdinand is getting kind of nervous.  Most people return salutations.  He inconspicuously slides his paw to his sabre hilt.  Blisa frowns slightly, but says cheerfully, "Oh, well, that's too bad, I guess.  Can we have a little party at home, then?  Just you and me and Ferdy and Basil?"  the ferret sighs slightly at the mention of the snake...he considers the reptile more trouble than he's worth.

Emyuil continues to trudge along, thunder flashing in his mind.  He wishes there were some vermin to kill, or something...He's just really confused.  He fingers the hilt of his sword over his shoulder thoughtfully.

Scioto shrugs "I do not know, things have been busy around Ferravale, a new blacksmith and the former head guard left, a new one had showed up but has yet to meet back up with me"

Ferdinand calls out to the mouse, saying, "Good day."  Blisa nods, then sticks a flower behind the Chieftains ear, giggling.  "You look so pretty,  Daddy!"

Jacen has decided to take a walk, he has just gotten back from getting some needed herbs in the nearby woods.

Scioto watches the mouse leave and the rat enter the area, he yawns slightly, well least its calm right now for the most part.

Blisa frowns slightly at her father not reacting to the pretty pink flower behind his ear, and so she starts to weave a flower crown.  Ferdinand relaxes slightly as the mouse leaves.  That was close.  Waving to the rat, he calls, "Greetingth, healer."

Jacen looks over and makes his way that direction "Hello, nice day and that’s good when one needs to gather herbs in the woods."

Scioto smiles at Blisa, he leaves the flower by his ear, "Thanks for the flower Blisa, I will have to keep it somewhere nice later"

Ferdinand nods.  "Indeed.  I've theen thome growing in Blitha'th garden plot.  I hope to cook with them thoon"  Blisa smiles in a pleased fashion and sets the flower crown between her father's ears.  "You're welcome.  Have a crown.  You're the Chieftain -- you need a crown!"  She's giggling slightly.

Scioto smiles going ahead and letting her place the flower crown on his head and even chuckles some.

Blisa laughs and knocks the crown a little crooked.  "Now you look so fine and dandy!  Ready for a party!"

Blisa  jumps up a little smiling up into her father’s face.  "Oh, Daddy, that sounds like such fun!  Can I decorate the house for it?  I'd make it really pretty!"  Ferdinand smiles and starts planning any special foods they might need.

Scioto smiles "Sure why not, have to have fun sometimes" He smiles as he relaxes, enjoying the day yes he is taking the rest of the day off..so there:P.
