This is the IC silliness from Redwall's Great Hall during the countdown to the MUCK going permanently offline. Please note most of what we did was just room pages, so this doesn't have much to read. I hope it brings some nostalgia, though.

SCENE:
You go into the Great Hall.
RW Abbey: Great Hall
The Great Hall of Redwall Abbey. Countless paw falls have echoed from these stones, and untold numbers of feasts and merry gatherings have been held here. A table, not nearly so grand or large as its predecessors, but quite functional for mealtimes, rests near the center of the hall. Chairs exist here aplenty, and they are all of a matching set. High above, the stain glass windows give the Great Hall a beautiful appearance. The glasswork is exceptionally done, crafted by a skilled artist. The floor is clean and swept. A fire is kept burning in the fireplace at almost all times of the day and night, and there are several more comfortable chairs and cushions set up here, of varying sizes. One looks large enough to easily accommodate a badger. The Tapestry hangs proud and tall, and while the rest of Redwall may still bear the scars of natural disaster, this most famous of Redwall's relics remains unharmed by beast, time, or the elements. The figure of Martin the Warrior seems to be watching over his own with an unchanging, kindly gaze. Soft light is slowly beginning to filter in through the stained glass windows high above your head.

This board is covered in scraps of cheap parchment with comments scrawled on them. They seem to be arranged in days and in order at least, but there's no way of knowing who wrote them. (OOC: toadd a message, 'add-board message' such as 'add-board The abbot likes purple pajamas!'. To read the board, 'read-board'. You can say 'read-board number' (such as 'read-board 3') to read back a smaller amount of days. The system does not show who wrote what message so ICly you can lie. The DB stores all, though, so don't break MU policies! ICly, this represents rumors as well as messages and ads).

Nicodemus enters shaking water droplets from his tail.

Nicodemus's ear flickres and he looks back to Matthew.

Matthew says, "Hello"

Lacota arrives from the Staircase..

Lacota has arrived.

Lacota harrumps. "If you so much AS SET FOOT in MYYYY Kitchen, you will meet my frying pan."

DoraRose immediately starts walking towards the kitchen.

Dandelion comes from the entry.

Dandelion has arrived.

Nicodemus says, "The paper that drove people here were the books, and BJ's tours."

Sarnith puts a sticker on Nicodemuses nose.

Nicodemus licks the sticker from his notes and eats it.

Lacota goes fully meta as reality unravels around him.

Matthew pulls a bottle of mead out

DoraRose sings, "it's the end of the world as we know it, it's the end of the world as we know it, it's the end of the wrld as we know it, and i feel fiiiiiiiiiinnnnee....."

Denis arrives from the Staircase..

Denis has arrived.

Dandelion waves.

Denis says, "Hello"

Matthew waves to Denis

Denis waves to all

There was much panicking.

But perhaps a flame of hope can be sparked

Miracle Max: Whoo-hoo-hoo, look who knows so much. It just so happens that your friend here is only MOSTLY dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead, well, with all dead there's usually only one thing you can do.
Inigo Montoya: What's that?
Miracle Max: Go through his clothes and look for loose change.

T MINUS 20 MINUTES

Sarnith tosses the mouse into a pie.

Your mom enters the great hall. Somehow.

Matthew points at your mom

DoraRose laughs aloud. "My momma introduced me to Redwall, so joke's on you!"

DoraRose pointeth at thine mother!

Dandelion exclaims, "Good mom, books are cool!"

Sarnith wonders what he has created with this reverse pie toss.

DoraRose says, "Books are lilterally the best"

Sarnith throws the book at the pie mouse.

Nicodemus room-pages, "Always grow older, but never grow up."

Obviously, since the world is ending in T MINUS 15 MINUTES, nothing is sensible any longer and a portal into the chaotic otherworld was created by said pie toss.

T MINUS 13 MINUTES. BRACE YOURSELVES FOR THE END OF THE WORLD.

Scarborough comes from the entry.

Scarborough has arrived.

Dandelion says, "This passion, and the death of a dear friend, would go near to make a man look sad."

Dandelion says, "I were better to be eaten to death with a rust than to be scoured to nothing with perpetual motion."

T MINUS 10 MINUTES

Dandelion says, "Woe, destruction, ruin, and decay; The worst is death, and death will have his day."

Dandelion says, "Golden lads and girls all must, As chimney-sweepers, come to dust."

Denis does a fake frown

Dandelion exclaims, "8 minutes!"

Otter shouts, "Nine minutes...."

Lacota says, "I'm not crying, I swear."

T MINUS 8 MINUTES

Lacota heads toward the kitchen. "I trust you'll all join us for dinner? Please, make yourselves at home, pour some tea, and have a scone..."

"Death can not stop love. it can only delay it for a little while.

DoraRose smiles and spreads her arms wide, as if to embrace the world. "All are wlecome in Redwall who come in peace and have a good heart."

Lacota pours tea for each and every one of you. "Mint and rosehip. Brewed it myself."

T MINUS 6 MINUTES

Denis drinks the tea and enjoys it grealy

Lacota smiles to his friends. "DoraRose... You made it."

Matthew drinks the whole cup in one go

Lacota hands the mouse an extra special cup.

Ficktails arrives, sets the place on fire.

T MINUS 5 MINUTES

T MINUS 4 MINUTES

Otter shouts, "Four minutes."

DoraRose smiles at Lacota and accepts the cup of tea. "I did. I had to see this place, one last time."

Lacota gives a cup to Hallow. "Skipper, a pleasure to see you again. The Abbot sends his regards."

Denis says, "It was a great pleasure to be here however long or short of a time"

Hallow says, "Farewell to all the friends from years past and present. It's been the greatest of times!"

Lacota smiles to Denis and Matthew. "Thank you for coming." He hands them a cup each.

Matthew says, "It was nice meeting you all"

Dandelion asks, "A lovely day isn't it?"

T MINUS 2 MINUTES. THE END IS NIGH.

Denis asks, "Another cup? I'm being spoiled, and it sure is a lovely day"

Lacota hands a cup to Nicodemus and Sarnith. "To Redwall. To Mossflower."

Denis drinks the tea with some class

Hallow raises her tea "It's been a pleasure" Matthew drinks the entire cup in one go, again

Lacota hands a cup to Dandelion. "It IS a beautiful day."

Dandelion hugs all!

DoraRose takes a deep breath, then holds her cup high. The Warrior roars, "REEEDDDDWWAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!"

Otter shouts, "Two minutes."

Matthew says, "It will be a wonderful week"

Dandelion says, "It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)"

Nicodemus bows, and slips away.

Nicodemus has left.

Lacota smiles to you all. "The gate will ever be open."

Denis says, "Goodbye"

Matthew says, "Goodbye everyone"

Denis says, "Everyone have a great time"

Otter shouts, "Go forth everyone and bring into reality that which was brought here. And pass it forward, do what they say can't be done. Thank you all for coming, and it wouldn't have been the same without each and every one of you. To 30 great years!"

Matthew says, "and thank you"

You room-page, "goodbye DX"

Lacota says, "May the road ever rise to meet your feet."
