Redwall Needs...

A Master Healer....
or soon will with Angela heading off with Dorarose.

Would it be ok if I made the character, they could even already be at the abbey or maybe grew up and left at one point after they became a Brother. Something draws them back to the abbey
Now this character will be a hamster or maybe a beaver. Maybe a squirrel even. I have been  wanting to have a character that  could be living at the abbey.

Course I would like Dora's thoughts on this please

do it!  that sounds wonderful!  and an unusual species, such as a hamster or beaver, would be extra fun

Also I am thinking Brother Rick(a abbey NPC me and Oz spoof , coukld take over the  gatekeeper job and anyone  could spoof Brother Rick..maybe soon to be Elder Rick. He is a squirrel.

I hope its ok but I menchioned in a role play that Brother Rick is helping at the gates to give Dorarose and family a few,what looks like clearly neeeded days off. Of course he has yet to know they are leaving soon...

so thoughts?
Brother Rick the gatekeeper after Dora leaves, he can even take care of the gatehouse too

Yes I like the idea A hamster as Master Healer be neat.

As for Brother Rick as gate keeper......that be cool.(Long as Dorarose i cool iwth it as well.)

I like these ideas
But Benar wouldn't leap to make a new appointment of either the Gatehouse Keeper or the Master Healer.

He'd take his time and probably want to see/talk to various healers etc. before making a decision.

That does make since your right.

Also Dorarose needs to mention them heading off soon so it's known they would need amnother gatekeeper and master healer.

Unless of course her and Benar have already chated bout that.

I could work on an arc for my character Spruce to eventually fill the roll of gatekeeper, if people are okay with the position not being filled immediately  - it would be tied up to some of the plot ideas I hope to get going in the fall and winter too

Could be cool for spuce to be gatekeeper one day..your need to recreate him if he becomes the Gatekeeper.

We still need to figure out Gatekeeper and Bell Ringer jobs. Guess for now it's like someone volunteers for day time and  nighttime sort of shifts guss
