Elbio took a deep breath and then entered the forge,he waited quietly to be addressed. He had on his uniform and stood ready.

Ciocan was finishing some work in the forge.  He looked over at the door when Elbio entered and smiled as he took off his forge gloves and walked over to the hare." Thank you for being on time. I have gotten my reports from you, as well as from the Harbor Master, also one from Terrence.All reports on your work is very good. You done well with your mission."

Elbio salutes and smiles. " Thank you sur. There was very little issues, I think a lot in Halyard are thank for for our help, yes some may still dislike us but no one tried to harm us." He then thinks " Was a stoat but." He frowns. " I believe he had an issue with Sargeant Zolomon as after the Sergeant left I have not seen the stoat. "

Ciocan frowns, " We can discuss the Sergeant in a moment, first." He turns to a small stool and gets the folded uniform that has the rank of Lt. on it." Your new uniform." He smiles " Lt.. Elbio."

Elbio nods and takes the uniform proudly. At the new rank he nods." I will do my best sur "

Ciocan nods, "I know you will." He  heads  over to a row of weapons and takes down a newly made blade.A saber with fancy designs down it, a true officer's blade as well as fitting for the Redwall Abbey Residential Hare.He presents it to Elbio,as well as the matching Scabbard.

Elbio takes the blade and Scabbard." For me sur?"

Ciocan nods." Yes, to show your a Lt. An officer's  blade made by me. You are also Redwall Resident LP Hare, An Ambassador of Salamanstron. "

Elbio buckles on the blade and salutes again.

Ciocan speaks." Have you chosen who to go with you. I do not want any of my hares going off alone."

Elbio replies. " Private Donica sur. She will have Lt. Velm to help her get back to the mountain."

Ciocan nods and clears his throat. " Now one other thing for you and Donica." He makes sure he has his attention. " Sergeant Zolomon is AWOL, as well as some other things .He needs to be brought back, by force if need be. He is to be contained and not let escape. Most likely the duty falls to Lt. Velm  to get him back here,where he is to face punishment . I  will also  say to be careful."

Elbio nods " I will be careful, when should me and Private Donica leave?"

Ciocan answers" After Breakfast tomorrow morning. I may send Rufus out in a couple weeks to make sure you made it to the abbey and to get any needed updates brought back here."  He nods, " You are excused Lt. Elbio. "

Elbio salutes and heads to his  room to get ready and get some needed rest before his trip.
