Some News Right Away- LP LOG

***Short roleplay but important  ***

WHO:

Elbio- Ensign, Archer, Fighter

Pete- Old Retired Major,Main Sentry

Donica- Private and Healer

LOG:

Elbio lead some hares back to the mountain,  a few stayed to tend to last minute details of the docks and do a little patrolling.He nods an ok for for dismissal to do whatever the others want to do as he will request they get a day off.He clears his throat. " Private Donica can you stay a moment?"

Donica nods " Yes sir. Wot did you need sur?" She stands ready and listening.

Elbio speaks." Would you like to come with me to Redwall? I will need another hare for the trip and I know you never got a chance to see the abbey. LT. Velm would escort you back to the mountain. He is at the abbey and decided to stay till I got back."

Donica smiles." Velm is at the abbey?" She then chuckles a little,." I mean, yes sur I would like that. Also it is likely good to have a healer along, plus with spring some herbs can be found in the woods and by the river. I could collect some to bring back and have some in my own pack as well."

Elbio watches her,then nods." Sounds good Donica. Likely won't leave till tomorrow early. So be ready by then.I need to see his Lordship here soon."

Pete comes walking along." Greetings." The old Major greats the hares." By de way Major Varus is in the infirm, or he was.Either way he has to recover from a wound from a fight. "

Donica smiles, " Yes of course I can be ready.." Then a frown." Wo..wot happen?"

Elbio is on instant alert" A fight? When...where?" He just barely gets back to this sort of news...joy, not.

Pete frowns. " Right by the entrance of de darn mountain.  Sargeant Zolomon...he had knocked out a guard we later found out by his room, had taken some supplies from the kitchen and proceeds to leave, well Major Varus and a couple Privates go ta stop him. Thar is a fight and one knocked out Private, Major Varus is injured and Sargeant Zolomon gets to the beach. A couple runners went after him but couldn't keep up so the runners came back here.Zolomon was heading towards the river, where he is now hard ta say."

Donica looks….well surprised and maybe even a little worried.

Elbio listens as he gets the details, other details he is sure to get from Major Varus." Thank you Major Pete...if you could let the others from Halyard know that be good. I can let the couple that stayed know but they are likely back after lunch anyways."

Pete nods." I can tell em' not to worry. You have your meeting with Lord Ciocan to get ready for."

Donica is just in shock as she listens. She then decides it's best to just get some rest and relax till it's time to head off.

Elbio sighs " Yeah, I know. My guess is I will have to keep an eye out for Zolomon."

Pete shrugs. " No clue lad, but likely yes since you're headed that way anyways. I say be careful.Anyways I best get the message to the others you mentioned,have a good day."

Elbio says." I will try. " He had enough time for a bath,lunch and then it was on to his meeting with the Badger Lord.
