Krisha of course had the dibbuns around her and carried Oz in her arms as she glanced around as if looking for something or maybe someone. The dibbuns were being well behaved, for now.

Gorvenalus offered a smile as he came in from the Library " Greetings Mother Krisha, did you need help finding something?"

Krisha snorted" Yes. Xander was supposed to help with the dibbuns and is not back yet, he said an hour and seems he choose to try and skip the afternoon, he needs a lecture on how to be a novice if he is still serious about being one."

Gorvenalus nods, " Yes novices are to keep busy after all. I can look for him and have a chat, but he is not the only novice who has tried to skip chores at times "

Krisha says, "I didn't say he was Brother Gorvenalus but he needs to learn, he is used to having so much free time and needs to be told, he cant now" She looks angry and hands Oz off to the beaver" I am gonna go give him a lecture right now, he is likely sleeping in the clearing and if he isn't he BEST have a good excuse, either well I will drag him back if needed." She managed to stay calm as she walked to, the gate, the clearing was only a 15-minute walk."

Gorvenalus nods and blinks as he takes Oz, " Krisha..wait.." He looks at the other dibbuns and frowns, ok he best get a couple of beasts to help, him with, the,dibbuns while Krisha is away.

The clearing was quiet, maybe a little too quiet or the afternoon in Mossflower. A bird nearby did seem to be singing. There was no one here in the clearing, it was just the grass, the trees, an area where the grass and dead brown and colored leaves were a bit, messed u...like flattened as it someone dragged something off to a path.

Krisha stormed into the clearing and looked around the clearing. She tapped her foot and then frowned as she walked further into the clearing. A sigh came from her 'Of course he wandered further."

Near a tree was a used sleeping dart, by that was Xander's cane and the drag sort of drag marks, sort of stopping and starting a couple of times to a path then stoped and are lost.

Krisha quickly rushed over and picked up the cane. A panic now "Xander...XANDER!!!!!"

A sound of crunching leaves comes up behind her and then stop close behind her, a paw on her shoulder. "Krisha" It was not Xander's voice.

Krisha spins around and swings the cane at whoever is behind her." Get away!"

"Whoa!" Says a voice "Calm down" Paws in the air and backing away to avoid being hit "It's me, Matilda, it's ok calm down...what happen?"

Krisha drops the cane "Matilda...I'm. I'm sorry I thought maybe you were someone else that may of...."She frowns, worry on her face "Xander would never walk off without his cane and the d...dart, wot is it? What...happen to Xander?"

Matilda looks around and examines the dart. She picks up the cane and hands it to Krisha "I..Don't know, sleeping dart maybe." She takes Krisha's paw to led her back to the abbey "You will go back to the abbey and sit. I will look for Xander I promise and maybe take a couple others with me"

Krisha allows the walk home and sits by the fireplace of the Great Hall "But..."She sighs and leans back, some tears show and she wipes them away. "Just fine him...I just...I went looking for him, he said he be at the clearing for maybe an hour...no more and it's been 3 hours and I was gonna go leacture him but he...he wasn't there sleeping like thought. What if he is in bad trouble?What if..."

"He is alive or else we would have found him. Whatever happened, whoever may have done this...well we will find out...well I will. You stay here Krisha and me and couple others will look" Matilda says as she pats the badger's shoulder and heads off.

Krisha nods and sinks further into the chair, the rest of the day she takes off, worry, and a little stress creeping in now.

lilymoore will enlist some of her bird friends to help look. feel free to spoof some robins and doves helping in the search. dorarose was already worried about xander, so lilymoore knew about this.
