Finally Outside!-Dibbun Slavers TP LOG

Zolomon- Sargeant, Archer , Runner in LP

Oz-Badger Cub

Xander- Former Warrior

LOG:

Zolomon had gotten done with his chores, helping with other tasks and even a couple of drills done with privates and recruits still at the mountain, he was looking for someone it seemed.

Xander managed to get outside , with a little help and now sits on the bench by the gardens, a staff in one paw as he tries to relax best he can, it is the first time he has been out of the mountain since...well since he and the others Redwall beasts came, though at the time he was comatose and barely alive.

Zolomon walks over and smiles "Hey Xandy...company?" He asks quietly"Tis good to see your getting some fresh air now and that ya are outside, outside its good"

Xander just nods, "Sure"He says after a few moments"And yeah, was a little bright at first but it's ok now,figured up here was better than the beach."

Zolomon folds his paws in his lap as he speaks "It's a good sign, ya gettin' better Xandy, I mean...."

"Yeah yeah, I should be dead, ya know I get tried of hearing that already"Xander explains "I want to be able to walk without a staff but that's likely never happening, but sometimes I have issues with that even."He looks at his paw as he stretches out, after a little while it shakes a little and he pulls it back" Happens at times if holding the staff and walking, not right away but after a few steps and causes me to lose my balance"

Zolomon frowns, he knew a little of the paw shakeing but not a lot "Well...could be worse, right ?"

Xander shakes his head and snorts, "How? ANd no wait don't reply already know de answer"

A hare maid comes up to where they are and clears her throat, she has Oz in her arms who is crying, seeing Xander he reaches towards him.

Zolomon looks up and smilkes "Oh tis little Ozzy, why is he grumpy?"

Xander takes his son and smiles, he holds him close "Hye hey, daddy is here it's ok."

Oz whimpers and does calm"Dada....da...da"He says and snuggles close.He briefly looks at the hare maid as she leaves and looks at Zolomon.

Zolomon shrugs and keeps the talk cheery "Good day, maybe a picnic at the beach in couple days if General Q is ok with it."

Xander nods "Maybe..."He smiles a little more but also seems sad"I miss the abbey. I miss Krisha...I wanna go home"He says and just goes quiet.

Zolomon ear droops as he speaks "Well...maybe 'ere in....I don't know. I mean...I be sure de others be back when, when they be done...seemed de island was  like 3-4 weeks away..Q  got supplies to last like 9 weeks...rasions can make it 10 weeks...tis been like little over half that so, who knows...we hare are keeping an eye on de sea for their return, then we always watch de shores and de sea so nothing new."

Oz looks at Zolomon and giggles. "Q...Q...heheheh" Well a new word,sort of.

Xander smiles at Oz and smooths out his headfur a little, he sighs a little as he speaks to Zolomon "I just hope they are alright.....all of them, my son Caleb is on that ship and my friends are on de ship as well."

Zolomon grins at the baby badger "Can ya say anything else?" He looks at Xander " Just keep de faith, de jolly Long Patrol is good at missions, so they will return...when?...no clue but we will see them before they see us and we can get a ...oh a feast ready for that return, a feast here is grand..I mean maybe not as grand as Redwall but it comes close!"

Oz yawns and snuggles closer o Xander going to sleep in his arms.

Xander smiles down at Oz as he listens to Zolomon "Yeah...hope...and faith, just gonna wait."He hopes not much longer.

Zolomon nods, he will stay with his friend till he is ready to go in, he will even help carry the badger cub Oz if needed, he will be there for his best friend when ever needed!
