Loseing Hope?-Redwall LOG

WHO:

Elbio- LP Hare

Gorvenaus- Redwall Abbey Recorder

Krisha-Badger Mother of Redwall

LOG:

Krisha is sitting by the steps that lead up to the infirmary, she hasn't spoken much to any beast since she been back, a few words here or there is all one usually gets out of her.   

Elbio walks into the open ground and glaces around, seeing the badger he smiles and walks over "Hey thar Mother Krisha, how are you this day?"
   
Krisha frowns as she looks up, a small shrug as if to say she doesn't know, that or doesn't care.A soft sigh and she tilts her head at him.
   
Elbio frowns when he doesn't really get a reply "Anyways..how is the wrist doing now?"He is trying his best as he sits down, he had taken to spending time with the abbey beasts than the other hares and the other hares seemed to start to not really care it seemed, he did after alll do his training exercises in the mornings.   

Krisha frowns, her wrist was tightly bandaged and still in a sling,she seemed to not have any words to say, in fact she maybe spoke a few, very few, words to Benar since she been back.   

Elbio is unsure what to do "Well I mean its jolly well healing right?" He does offer a smile "Anyways, you know wot...been thinking of staying at the abbey, I mean if I can, needs a hare am I right?"   

Krisha just looks at him and slips out a notepad and writes on it and just lays it down, on it reads - Then stay, your need to talk to Abbot Benar, but I can give my vote of yes-   

Elbio blinks, why was she writing down things "You ok lass?" He asks after reading the note, a smile at the yes was good but he was concerned"Something de matter with your throat?"
   
Krisha shakes her head no, it's unclear for which the no was for, maybe both. She was just silent it seemed, and still avoided most beasts.   

Elbio frowns more "Ya...know" He perks his ears "Hares are good listeners and I wouldn't have to reply just sit here"   

Krisha just stands and heads off elsewhere besides by the infirm steps, it seemd she wanted to be left alone.   

Elbio lets the badger walk off and just frowns as he remains sitting where he is, he has decided to maybe try nd speak to her later.
   
Gorvenalus was on the grounds checking things like gardens, the crops and such.He seen the hare and walked over "You seem to have much on your mind, what is it Elibo?"   

Elbio watches the beaver and speaks "Just...seems I am not good with cheering a beast, or least not cheer de Mother Krisha and the only time got words it was more a small note"   

Gorvenalus frowns"Well our Badger Mother is depressed..a note you say, of what?"   

Elbio frowns "Just a yeah if I...well I been thinking of staying,being residental hare..and also asked how she was...get a shrug, or a shakes head for no or a nod, she was listening...I think"   

Gorvenalus hmmms and nods"Well, she is home so that is good.But I am afriad it will be a while till she is not depressed, she deeply misses the dibbuns, also her so and mate and we, of course, have no way of knowing how they are, where...if they are live or...not alive"The last couple words as quiet.   

Elbio says, "Yeah and....we didn't see anyone south, then heard they went north and maybe on de river but not where sadly"
   
Gorvenalus says, "Yes...no word after that, or even on the slavers, a bit of good news the rats seem to have fully left now"
   
Elbio says, "You...think they WILL be back?"He frowns "I mean....then again ..maybe still some hope"   

Gorvenalus says, "There is always hope Elbio."   

Elbio nods"I..I know, some just find it hard after so  long."   

Gorvenalus speaks "I..admit, I lost hope when I was a ....slave or rather just some captive for 8 long seasons, me and my son till I managed to get free, my captor had trickd the beast here into being his friend, then I warned them and he was defeated.I thought my home was...gone forever, but it was not..there were survives of a horrible, horrible fate.See I use to live at a place called Willowbark abbey, tis still around and my son is its main warrior"   

Elbio listens and blinks "Wow.....well let's hope our friends and dibbuns are not gone that long"   

Gorvenalus says, "Its been almost a season now, late spring and here it is...late summer, it will be autumn soon. I feel hope is lessening and worse so in Mother Krisha....this whole thing affects her most, it also effects Benar but not as much as Krisha...its affecting her as I said, the most"

Elbio frowns, a smalll nod "So wot do we do ta cheer the lass up?"   

Gorvenalus says, "I am at a loss, I think only them returning will help.I just hope no bad news comes, no news is bad enough"
   
Elbio ears fallen on his head "And...if some reason, they...don't bally well return,then wot?"   

Gorvenalus shrugs"I...do not know, let's hope we don't have to find out" A frown now forms, he was concern   

Elbio frowns"Yeah , bally well likely not be a goo thing or even good day so I 2nd that though old bean, lets hope we dont find out...like ever"
