Ciocan and Xander Chat

***So Ciocan comes to Visit Xander in the infirm *****

Who:

Ciocan-Badger Lord

Zolomon-Corporal, Runner and Archer in LP

Keifer- Healer and Private in The LP

Rufus-Messenger and Fighter Sea Gull

LOG:

Ciocan enters chatting with a private as he looks over a list, he hands it back"Looks ok, you can take the list back to him now" He walks the rest of the way inside the room and offers a smile"Greetings Xander,sorry I have not stoped by sooner I have been busy making sure things were ready for my new ship to set sail after those slavers"   

Close by Ciocan is Zolomon, he waves but stays where he is and off to the side, he doesn't want to interrupt anything important.   

Xander looks over and shrugs, he is feeling a bit down, "That's....nice, good luck and hope you find them and all goes well"He has found a way to face the wall finally.   

Ciocan walks over and stands beside the other badger, at first quietly and then speaks up" I heard...talking helps and I had hoped we could chat before I set sail, I won't have time tomorrow. And the journey there is like a good 4 weeks there, then 4 weeks back..maybe more I don't have a for sure pinpoint,just the direction"   

Zolomon frowns and whispers to Ciocan"Should we...leave? Xandy has been rather....moody the past couple days sur"
   
Keifer walks in, yes he doesn't knock as he works here so ha "No one likes the infirm, I have yet to meet one that is overjoyed and if I do I will assume they knocked thier head fairly hard." He salutes the badger"Sur..."And Zolomon "Sur"   

Xander sighs and pulls the blanket over his head, it's clear he rather not talk.He grumbles as his right paw shakes, again! It does stop after a moment but its so annoying and he can't control it.He then just is quiet,maybe they will think him asleep.   

Ciocan goes to pull the cot away from the wall carefully and walk around to where he can better see Xander face to face, going to gently move the blanket away from his head."Xander..."He lets the other badger response first.   

Zolomon stays by the doorway, then sits in a chair by the door quietly, he would let Ciocan handle this.

Keifer tilts his head, he hmmms but just stays where he is, not getting involved, nope.   

Xander tenses up when the cot moves, of course, it moves and he allows the blanket to be removed from his head, but he doesn't speak right away, he is crying and clearly has been since before the other badger entered the room.
   
Ciocan studies Xander, gently laying a paw on his shoulder, "One should not be ashamed to let others see them cry."He speaks to the healer "Private Keifer....please update me as no one seemed to update me on how Xander has been"   

Zolomon just frowns, he is curious as well but doesn't ask, but he will listen.   

Keifer speaks "Well sur...as of right now he has mentioned no feeling in his right leg and unable to move it, I did check and it seems he doesn't feel anything over most of it, its possble there may be ...some feeling, perhaps the poison damaged nerve ending. I know the bolt was all the way to the bone..its gonna cause issues the rest of his life, some muscle was damaged also. I mean it's possible to get some feeling back sur but not all the way and if he does walk it will be with a staff. His arm would is likely gonna be fine as for the shaking....again poison effects I am certain, it was a rare poison after all sur and well...."He pauses and goes on "He's the only one I have heard of ..living, every beast else who got it in their bloodstream...arnt bally well around to tell us much and that kurgan fellow, was that his name...well no matter,he's rather dead"   

Xander feels more tears fall and finally clears his throat to talk " I feel...so helpless. I can't even go with them, to help...cant help anyone like this."He does show how his paw shakes, though it is slightly less shaky than before.He frowns lowering it.   

Ciocan listens to the healer and then Xander before he speaks "Xander....they know you can't go."He gets a clean cloth to wipe away a few tears from Xander's face"You are not helpless either, a lot of others if they were like this may of given up, you have not...you have stayed strong, do not let this take away wot makes you....you, if you let this break you then Kurgan may as well have won"   

Keifer is short of words and is not good at...comfort realy,when he does speak its all healer mode.   

Xander blinks a couple times and sniffs, he speaks "Wot if I..never walk again?"He frowns deeply"Wot is...Krisha gonna think?" He frowns"I am just..worring everyone."   

Ciocan listens and allows Xander to speak" Beasts worry cause they care. A lot worried, including me, that you would not wake at all, I thought prehaps the anidote was too late and then I was told you had awakened and I was glad, you are a good friend Xander.And I would of been deeply sadden had you left us"   

Zolomon speaks up "Me too Xandy.."He rushes in and about trips. "Me too..your my friend too, heck longer than Lord C here"

Keifer frowns "His name is Lord Ciocan, not Lord C..." He rolls his eyes and goes to make sure the healers have the needed herbs for that trip   

Xander manages a small smile, but he still seems to worry"I....just ...I am gonna be here a long time recovering arnt I?"   

Ciocan watches the healer head off, he nods to Xander "From wot I heard yes."He then replies "Going on the ship with me is some of my trusted hares, as well as Caleb,Dorarose,Maltilda,Donica and Keldorn"He smiles "Keldorn has even helped with a large sailing ship"

Xander listens and seems surprised "Thats....well good, does it have a name?" He is feeling a little better now.   

Ciocan smiles "I think she will be called The Ship of Valour, wot do you think?"   

Xander hmmms "It..."He smiles better "I like it Ciocan, it...fits" He carefully gets to his back, or tries...ok hurts to move how ever did he move onto his side in the first place and why.   

Ciocan goes to help him onto his back and fixes the pillow and blanket" There you go Xander.."He smiles"If you promise to not face the wall I can move the bed back where it was"   

Rufus makes his way inside the infirm, looks around and makes a face "Not like room, do not....how is Bunny Lord and friend?"   

Xander says, "I promise..."He looks at the sea gull and frowns "There is a..gull here"   

Ciocan first gentlly gets the bed back to the wall and turns "Rufus....yes Xander is recovering and will be here,"He nods to Xander "Rufus is a friend no need to worry Xander" He smiles at the sea gull"You will still be joining us, correct Rufus? I will need a bird to look for land and possible storms, for any ships we may want to avoid"   

Rufus yarks and nods "Ya ya..go with Bunny Lord friend Rufus will.."He nods to Xander "Xander be friend too ya ya, friends be good have, always good"   

Xander decides to trust the bird, if the Badger Lord does he will "A sea gull as a friend....neat" He is a little freaked out by the gull, gulls did attcked him when he was but a dibbun.
   
Ciocan smiles "Good Rufus, glad to have you join us. I will make sure you have a lot of fishies" He chuckles useing the bird's term for fish.
   
Rufus says, "Bunny Lord also need lota um ricecakes with honey, and rolls and candy seeds and nuts, very very good food"
   
Xander blinks and chuckles and then frowns, ok chuckleing hurts,he turns to Ciocan "Just get back with the dibbuns and everuone safe and sound Ciocan, alright? I plan on one way or another greeting everyone on the shores upon thier return and not in a wheelchair if can help it"   

Ciocan chuckles at Rufus, he nods to Xander "Of course Xander.I will do my best to make sure your son, friends and the dibbuns all get back..me and my hares will protect them all"

Zolomon returns and holds up a paw "A request sur.....may I stay? Ya do have 2 sargenats going, no need fer a 3nd...I can help old Q keep an eye on recruits and privates still here, and help Xandy."
   
Rufus perns a wing "I get ready for trip...seeum all later ya ya" He heads on outside and ..well its hard to say how he gets ready   

Xander smiles "Thank you Ciocan, and...for the talk too"   

Ciocan nods and he pats him on the shoulder" You get some rest Xander..."He starts to head off and then turns "Oh and the ship name ...it's a secret till I reveal it tomorrow"He smiles and heads out the door to do last minute things.
