==Redwall Abbey Entry and Pond Area==

Oz walks along the path, close by dibbuns skip beside him and one is on his shoulders giggling as the badger smiles. The badgers fur is still slightly blue as it will take a little while more , but least it’s a lighter shade where before it was bright blue in color.   

Kurt circles, he seems happy he can fly once more and lands near the badger "Badger is still bit blue, how long to be blue?"   

Oz stops when he hears the wings then the voice "Greetings Kurt and I am unsure, it’s been a week almost so far and from what been told it’s not as bright a blue now, it’s also a lost cause to save my one tunic and robe but that’s ok I have others of course and have just place the other one dyed blue now in a chest for later use if needed."   

Kurt tilts his head and perns a feather before speaking "I go soon but be back, gonna find Xander and say will join group as messenger, tis good idea ya?"   

Oz smiles "Sounds like a good idea and it would be good to know Xander is ok, I know he is basically an adult now but does not  mean one doesn’t worry...he is still family and the only family member I have left, unless I count Zinnia and Takeo's dibbun twins....yes Takeo is family as well and his twins " He smiles "Named after family members Zork and Northstar, I do hope Takeo made it home to his island safe"   

Kurt says, "Family good have as is friends, Kurt have few new friends now tis good....Kurt have home now and tis good"   

Oz says, "Family and friends are very important, they can help keep one sane" He chuckles as another dibbun wants on his other shoulder, “Careful now Rosebud"   

Kurt looks at the many dibbuns, "How watch all them when Blind, and how forgive so well when they made you all blue...Kurt be mad mad mad ifa happen to him and was still blue week later, yes be much mad Kurt would    “

Oz smiles as he sits and a couple dibbuns hug him and sit on his lap, the ones on his shoulders slid off carefully and sit by him as does others "One can’t stay mad at young ones, they get into mischief and they then learn from it, they learn right and wrong and how to be a well-functioning abbey beast one day. I tend to dibbuns 5.5 seasons and under and 2-3 6 season old  beast also though at 6 seasons they can start to be a novice if they want or still learn a skill but not be a novice, not all beasts here join the order, some just live here and some leave and visit at times."   

Kurt listens as all is said and tilts his head "Interesting...Kurt not think ever will have eggchicks..too hard work and Kurt be loner bird”

Oz says, "Not all like dibbuns or start families. My brother never married but he did adopt a badger whom was 4 seasons at the time" He sighs sadly "Zinnia...she was a little wild at first, but she calmed and gained trust, friends and a family and became a novice, then sister and recorder and when to Salamandastron twice in her life. It was a sad day when Quade and his 2nd in command killed her" He frowns "She is sadly missed"

Kurt says, "Kurt is sorry for loss....had not known was recorder, not seen much. Only know she found out Quade was badfur but he no let her warn others. Quade was much a badfur"   

Oz says, "Yes he was and now he is slayed but no more talk of Quade. The abbey soon will get ready for the Summer feast, we had none in Spring and for now it’s down as the season with no name"   

Kurt nods "Think Xander back before feast?”

Oz hmms "Well I hope so, I do not think it’s too soon as Abbot Benar wants it to be special to make up for none in Spring"   

Kurt flaps a little "I go look for now, will find and report back will. Should be long river thinking so and west"   

Oz says, "sounds correct yes he made be on his way back even"   

Kurt nods and heads into the air "Kurt be back with news soon or with Xander badger.." He then heads off in the direction of the river.   

Oz waves and then gathers the dibbuns together and heads to the pond, he calls over a couple novice to help keep an eye on the dibbuns while they are at the pond as its always important to have good water safety.
