The Last Herb At A High Price!-LP/Dibbun Slavers TP

WHO:

Zolomon-Corporal, Runner,Archer in LP

Robert-Fighter and Private Fiest Class in LP

Rufus- Fighter Bird

Garf- monitor lizard, spy, evil doer

Stab and Slice-Monitor lizards who are brothers

LOG:

Zolomon was awake early and went to wake Robert "Come on we gonna find this lee of the stone or what ever"

Robert groans but slowly wakes up and follows Zolomon outside "Do we even know where we are at sur?"

Rufus has been opening his wings and eating fish "We outta yuckie slime waters...near small wooded area close big water...follow stream big water, I find elm...and large rock by a cliff..come come"He flies off.

Zolomon shrugs and goes to follow the bird, "Come on chap and then we find...brunch since we jolly well overslept"

Robert mutters but does follow them.

Meanwhile they are being watched and the one watching them gets ever closer to them, 3 monitor lizards as if they needed trouble.

Rufus flies a little ways and lands on a sort of tilted rock and motions "Look look is moss..is what need?"

Its black-spotted sponge moss and a lot of it too!

Zolomon smiles and starts to grab it and then remembers words and gets a glove he has to pick some and place it in the bag  and grins "We are done and I must say easiest ever one of the 3 ta get"

Robert chuckles "Good we can go home and eat a decent meal and sleep in a bed for once"

"A bed?" Says a voice" That be too good for you,what say boys?"

"I say...ummm....I don't know"

"He means they need a dirt nap, ha ha"

Rufus puffs out to double his size as he squakes at the 3 lizards and flies up to get out of reach."It no furs...no furs need pecked plenty good they do!"

Zolomon frowns, "Wot the...Garf..how in de world are you here ya pest"

Robert pulls out his dirk ready to fight, and gets fear in his eyes as he sees not one but 3 monitor.."s..s..sur"

Garf smirks "Scared are we? Yes we are...there is no there bunnies to help you...."Ok there is a bird and 1 other bunny, but "3 to 2...and I say we take what ever that is for!"He nods "Slice..stab..go"

All 3 monitors attack!

Rufus is no fan of monitors but he also doesn't want his new friends hurt so he dives at one of the lizards.

Zolomon sidesteps one and kicks at its back.He will run if he has to run.

The other two fight Robert, the hare is a bit overpowered but does get a good gash in at one lizard, but he has a bad gash to his own side.

Slice screams as the bird gets his tail and claws at the bird best he can "Tis my tail.my tail!"

Stab just ignores the bird and tries to clap his teeth down on Roberts's arm!

Rufus laughs as he has the tip of a tail and spits it out "Yark..discussing, gross...tis not good food!!"

Garg meanwhile goes after Zolomon by trying to slice at his chest and kick him down the hillside they are on.

Zolomon eeps but keeps his balance and sends a powerful kick at Garf, before  jumping sideways and pants a little

Robert meanwhile is a little too close to a cliffside and frowns,he stabs the monitor in front of him in the tail and a kick to the mid section!

The monitor steps back from it's attack on Robert,he and the other looks at one another...a nod and then both charge the hare at the same time.

Rufus dives at Garf and tries to claw at his head and back!

Garf screams in pain as talon marks go down his back and head, blood pours down his back and face as he tries to clear his  vision.

Zolomon takes a chance and using his saber stabs it toward's Garf chest!

Robert gasps, its about a 15 foot drop and he falls, a short yelp and he hits the ground hard! He groans and likely broke something,its unclear what yet.

Slice and Stab look at one another and smirk, one heads down to the hare, the other slowly follows

Rufus dives and goes to grab one lizard by the tail if he is successful he will carry him up as far as possible, could prove fairly far since he is a  peeve off bird right now and drop the lizard to the ground a bit further away maybe over the stone!

Garf gurgles as the saber did its deed, he falls onto his side dead as a doornail.

Zolomon kicks at the lizard and pants, he looks around "Robert?" He sees the other two lizards and not the private and his eyes narrow.He gets out his longbow and  selects an arrow to fire off...he aims and fires at the monitor still on the cliffside and goes to find the other one, and Robert.

Robert lays on the ground with a weak groan, he tries to get up but his leg is broken, his side is bloody and his paw hurts badly.

The one lone monitor, not killed yet grins down at the hare "Hello Bunny or...goodbye"He aims his claws at the hare's throat and goes to slice them across it!

The monitor gets an arrow in his shoulder and hisses, he charges only to be picked up by he seagull and dropped on the rock...on his head..ok dead lizard!

Zolomon gets down to where the lone monitor is and narrows his eyes! He fires off an arrow and this one will hit something lot more deadly!

Rufus lands and looks down, seeing one monitor alive he goes to try and claw his talons at its face "aWAY...AWAY from friend!"

The last monitor gets a face full of talons and then stiffens as the arrow hits his throat and he falls...over....dead.

Robert has no time to kick, the claws do their damage right before the arrow and seagull attack the monitor, he coughs and gasps and shivers as his eyes close half way.

Zolomon rushes over to check on the Private and his eyes widen at what he sees "No..." He is no healer but even he knows this is not good, he sits by Robert and tries to calm him some, a soft sort of tune he hums.

Rufus lands nearby and walks over slowly "Is...ok?"

Robert calms as he knows his Corporal is bedside him, he takes couple last breaths and his eyes close one last time.

Zolomon frowns as tears go down his eyes,"No...he's.."He stands and looks at Rufus"He's..gone."What to do? He is unsure as he is a good couple days , maybe 3 from the mountain"A honable burial...he needs one, lets find a good place Rufus and then I need to get home and..."He frowns "Make a report."

Robert had no family, not that helps anything as his family died during the Redwall siege,he had been orphaned and had joined the patrol when he was barely old enough, raised in rank to Private and Private first class fairly fast...only to die so young still.

Rufus nods and will follow them"Is far home? Rufus come?"

Zolomon is silent till they find a place to bury Robert, he is silent till the hare is buried and till its late into the night and a campsite heading back I made, they have a good 3 days to go, he looks at the gull and nods "Yeah company will be nice Rufus, thank you" He finally sleeps, that night.The mission is done and all 3 herbs gotten, but the last one was at a high price.
