A Special Surprise- LP LOG

Who:

Zolomon- Corporal ,Archer,Runner in the Long Patrol

Zeldove-Private, Archer,Fighter in the Long Patrol

LOG:

Zolomon waited by one of the apple trees. He got help to get a table out here and a couple chairs. It looked like a good meal of fish, greens a roll and some light wine. All with candle light.

Zeldove came down the path and looked impressed.She had decided to wear a nice dress and some ribbons in her head fur" Wow...this is...just wow Zolomon."

Zolomon turned and smiles wide "Zelly...Well I wanted to do something nice and different and things kept getting messed up before like the picnic  idea, or dinner in Halyard.So...this is wot jolly well came up with."

Zeldove smiles and sits down." Very nice Zolomon, I like this."

Zolomon sits after making sure Zeldove is ok and smiles, " I am glad ya like it and you..you look beautiful  tonight.  I mean your always are of course."

Zeldove chuckles, " This was nice.  Finally a real day off I get  to enjoy." She sips the wine and eats some fish .

Zolomon  smiles as he also eats some food and drinks a little wine. "Zelly....you want to dance?"

Zeldove finishes some food first and stands "Sure. " She is good at dancing but it has been a while.

Zolomon is ok at dancing so it works out good.HE then smiles. " Zelly I have something to ask ya....its important "

Zeldove sighs " Can it wait? I want this night to be perfect not...well having paperwork or worry on this or that."

Zolomon steps back, " I...well....it could but..hopefully it still makes it perfect. I want it too though depends on a reply." He will get out a ring.  A simple  ring. Not much but still meaningful and be on one knee.

Zeldove sighs and looks ready to leave till she sees what he is doing and a small gap is heard.

" Zeldove...will you...marry me?" Zolomon asks. A hopeful smile on his face.

Zeldove just stares. She then smiles and nods " Yes."

Zolomon smiles as he places the engagement  ring on her finger and hugs her.

They finish their meal, dance a little more and then head inside, it seems the evening was perfect after all.
