Making Sure The Snow Badger Still Comes-Redwall Log

==Brother Gorvenalus doesn't show up right away,  but I logged all of this as seen it as important still ==

LOG:

Xander is looking at the papers he had yesterday, he is still figuring out just how to go about ihis idea.
   
Zeldove walks over and nods a hello "So...still gonna need me and Ewan to help with your snow badger helpers idea? I know Ewan seemed to not like the idea but I think I am getting him into a little mid winter spirit"   

Xander nods as he looks at the hare "Yes...I want to help Krisha, but like a surprise sort of help her"   

Zeldove grins "I like the idea and the whole outfit has jingle bells all over it, it's neat..not sure how to look more snow hare like though"
   
Xander chuckles "I have something for that and its easy to wash out of fur, don't worry."   

Zeldove asks, "Sounds interesting , so we have like a week right?"   

Xander nods "Yeah..a week..or maybe less or little more, I think."He sighs "She been busy and part of it is my fault, so this is a way to help"   

Zeldove tilts her head "Ya fault? How is it ya fault sur? I mean...busy time of the season right and like its been colder this winter."
   
Xander sighs and he leans back in his chair "Well...and it was an accident, the abbot fell down the steps, cause of...me pushing him. It happen so fast and at first I thought I..killed him, I am glad I didn't and..well..now he hates me or I think he hates me and I don't want him to hate me,I am sorry and want his forgiveness if, if he will give it to me"
   
Zeldove listens and her ears droop a little "Well it sounds like your sorry and, maybe he doesn't hate you and , if he does well boo to him.."She grins "The snow badger can leave him some coal"   

Xander asks, "Coal?" He has not heard that one before "Why would..."   

Krisha steps into the room and frowns "Why are you talking about coal?" She sound like she don't feel well right now sitting down where ever she can and rubbing her head, yep a headache seems at least.   

Zeldove looks up and answers "Yeah coal it..ummm"Think fast "is used to heat things sometimes and some beasts use it for like stoves..right?"   

Xander stands and lets her sit in the chair he has, "You ok Krisha, you look worn out." He is concerned and it shows in his voice.
   
Krisha nods after sitting down "Headache and likely a cold coming on, sometimes I hate winter and its been so cold this winter..I decided to let a couple beasts help get more firewood and they did just in case we would of run out before winter was over"   

Zeldove says, "I had a grandfather, he always had a stuffy nose and a cough in winter, got better in the spring usually...well this past spring he didn't...so..."She changes the subject "So yea winter can be a bally well thing ta hate, or love cause of midwinter stuff!"
   
Xander shakes his head and hmmms "I know..tea I can make you some, thanks to Uncle Zee and Uncle Oz I know a lot of different types and even made one of my own..a sort of lemon honey one, good for winter season"   

Krisha smiles "Sure..tea sounds nice just"She frowns "May have to skip the get ready for the snow badger thing..I mean I have to tend to some other things ..sadly enough"   

Zeldove frowns "But the dibbuns would be so sad, you cant have sad dibbuns its not allowed"   

Xander gets the tea and returns "No...you know wot, I can find you help, one less worry thar ya go"He offers the tea he mentioned and a wild berry scone cause you need scones with tea.   

Krisha takes the tea and drinks it, nibbles the scone "You....would find someone...I know maybe Gorvenalus?"
   
Xander nods "He can help sure" And he is correct,the beaver can let him know what usually goes on, or least where to find things needed like small toys or those knitted hates and gloves, otherwise he is gonna help big time either way,might even dress up too."Look Krisha, rest ok and don't worry on the snow badger event, its fine...you have things I know Benar wants you to do and Badgermother things and dealing with some things cause of Ferro's shop"   

Zeldove asks, "That recorder fellow? I can help find him,where is he...he is like good at finding things in the library"
   
Krisha drinks her tea and ends up falling asleep, stupid headache and stuffy nose is annoying and she has some stress also.   

Xander nods, he excuses himself long enough to get Krisha to her bed and let a healer look at her, just to make sure she is ok and comes back down "Ok...so we are doing this Snow Badger day, a couple snow hare helpers were found by me and I am gonna have an outfit too...I mean maybe the snow badger has fellow badgers help as well, ya know to get lists done"   

Zeldove says, "of course he has fellow badgers help...badgers to carry sacks of goodies and earlier it was a story I heard that bad dibbuns get like coal..good ones get candy and gifts....though think all but like evil vermin get things anyways cause the Snow Badger is nice like that"   

Xander nods "Well uncle Oz knew someone who made like hates and gloves and sometimes little wooden toys like tops and such..like every season and I am unsure where to find them so gonna ask Brother Gorvenalus if its written down or wot"   

Gorvenalus made his way from the library, he had just did some dusting and strightening up so had some dust on his robes.
   
Xander smiles "Just the abbey beast I wanted to see.I need to find some info out, please"
   
Gorvenalus asks, "That would depend on what info, I do not know everything there is to know after all, but might know who does, what is it you need Xander?"

Xander smiles"Where did Uncle Oz get his stuff for Snow badger done? I know he did something or knew a beast that always helped out I managed to get Ewan and Zedove to help me as snow hares and I may dress up too, ya know snow badger helpers to check on the dibbuns and other beasts, see if they been good and encourage them to be good. Lacota can make cookies and have cider, or greensap milk...maybe hot chocolate, candy nuts even. A story and I know a story from Uncle Oz and Uncle Zee both to use"   

Gorvenalus says, "I can help" He heads offf and returns a few moments later with a couple scrolls "Lucky I was asked to stay in touch with a couple beasts, one is in the abbey for winter due to the cold, they make the gloves and hats, and the other lives in the woods not to far, I would suggest I go with you, Richard can be...a bit of a grump,but nice. He makes little wooden tops and corn silk dolls, blocks and such and even gift wraps them very nicely.I have stayed in touch with both and the adress and names are on there as well, I do hope that helps"
   
Xander grins "It helps a lot, thank you Gorvenalus, thanks a lot."He gets the scrolls and looks at them before rolling them up "In fact will take care of this soon. Want to do the snow badger thing soon"   

Gorvenalus says, "I am glad to help, its a good thing to do this time of the seasons and beasts do enjoy it, mostly dibbuns but others as well"
   
Xander nods as he smiles, "Yeah it is good and Its the one thing I like during winter season"   

Krisha in, with a frown and a cough.Great this stuffy nose and now cough is getting annoying and she has too much to do to rest much.   

Gorvenalus smiles "Now if you excuse me I am gonna get a nap in" He starts to head off and sees the Badgermother "Mother Krisha, hello...are you doing ok today?"   

Xander walks over to Krisha "Yeah, you ok love?You should maybe rest"   

Krisha manages a smile as she sits but still has a headache "I..could be better and I can't rest.I have too much to do..I mean today I had a couple extra classes to make up for cause I didn't do them a couple days ago."
   
Gorvenalus steps over "I can assume what ever is needed for Abbot duties, and I will not take no as an answer, I have nothing really to do the next 3-4 days." He does check her to make sure she is ok, as he is a healer also.   

Xander stays close by and nods "Yeah and...I found someone to help with the snow badger...event" He doesn't say whom or what all he had planed."And I know the story I can tell it"   

Krisha nods "Fine..."She mainly just has a stuffed up nose and very slight sore throat, yeah a headache but no fever..."Story is..fine"She sighs as it seems, to her, thats all that will happen a story and maybe cookies if she is lucky."And ok Brother Gorvenalus, its mainly just checking things, speaking with a spice merchant that was due today or tomorrow with some needed spices, I can give you the list and prices to have, if can go lower that be great, other than that Benar can do paperwork now and some simple things he has been out of his room a little bit"   

Gorvenalus nods as he steps back "Alright, I suggest you take a day off, it will be fine. Sister Ginny can watch the dibbins and Sister Anna can help"   

Xander nods as he smiles "A day off willl be good Krisha and things will be fine, no worries"   

Krisha says, "Fine...a rest, one day and the rest of today"It was just after lunch so it should be good, "Sound fair?"

Gorvenalus says, "Yes sounds fair, starting now in fact so off to bed"   

Xander nods in agreement, he wants to make sure she gets some rest and he can better do some things to help with a night to get ready for the Snow Badger!   

Krisha sighs, but nods and stands to go on to her room, she will get some rest, for half a day today and a full day tomorrow.   

Gorvenalus nods his approval and looks to Xander "Well looks like I am busy, but that's ok. I like helping and most likely would of just been bored the rest of the week"   

Xander says, "And I will need to get to finding and speaking to the two beasts you mentioned on Snow Badger things..I want it to go well and be, well..something to remember"
   
Gorvenalus smiles "Go on then before you forget..Cathy is a mole, but she speaks common....she is the one that knits hats and such, and Richard is a ferret, but he is good and has been an abbey friend for a good while, he is a hermit,you mention me you should be fine, if your worried take...let's see, hmms who be good oh I know..Ewan with you"   

Xander nods "Not worried and sure Ewan can tag along, sides might be good to have him along and I can mention you sent me"
   
Gorvenalus nods and heads off, he has some things to do now that he volunteered to do them.
