Spam War Update

We got hit real hard two nights ago. Turns out bots can answer simple math questions.

Cleaned up the wreckage, and now I am cautiously hopeful about our anti-spam setup. I installed a plugin that spots (and rejects) malicious connections, and doubled down on registration security by adding the clickable captcha back, and updated the question-answer block.

Shout out to DoraRose for her tip on the old forum re: using Redwall trivia to stump the bots! 

The bots may eventually wise up and crack our defense, but looks like we're okay for now.

Oh, you're welcome!  I'm glad I could help

If the bots ever do manage to get through this latest defense (which I'm hoping they sha'n't), maybe email Heartwood and whoever else is in charge of the old forums and see what they suggest (unless you did that already).  But hopefully it'll never come to that
