Chats Of The Past-LP LOG

WHO:

Zolomon- Runner/Archer and Private First Class in LP

Cera- Healer and Private in LP

LOG:

Cera is sitting at one of the booths, a mug of ale in her paw as she drinks it and just stares at the table mostly, or the floor. She has yet to get her uniform, maybe tomorrow..she isn't sure yet, or the next day.She has on normal clothing right now.   

Zolomon walks in and goes to get an ale for himself when he notices Cera and walks over "Hallo lass. you..doing ok?"   

Cera looks up and frowns , a shrug "I..I am doing fairly well supposed to be back to duty, least somewot tomorrow or next day..I think..got info on what major ta report to least"
   
Zolomon nods "Well thar is Major V and Major J...though Major V is...umm...grumpy old hare though not nearly as grumpy at Pete..hee hee old Pete real grumpy but he is retired and like on sentry watch a lot..stays here cause he like has no family"   

Cera says, "I think..Major Varus..is the one I am ta report too..I domt remember the name then again not like I knew a lot of hares just the ones in my old unit and...they all died"
   
Zolomon frowns "Yeah...de siege was..was really bad...Oh I am Zolomon by de way"He grins.   

Cera listens and hmmms " You were thar ..during the siege "Her ears flatten a little.   

Zolomon nods "I joined up after me and my best buddy came to the Long Patrol for..the help, joined on de way back ta the abbey"   

Cera listens "Wait....your the hare that...that told his Lordship to -Bring it on- when he talked about basic training."The things one remembers but hey so MANY talked about the crazy hare who said such a thing and who likely wished they didn't, and she chuckles, she can't help it."Oh..my..."   

Zolomon frowns, his one ear droops.."Uhhhh"A small chuckle "Yeah..it..ya know Basic training but yeah its FAR from basic, I know now and I got de worse and hardest..."He frowns now "Sargent that...drill Sargent that trained me...but I survived..and anyways I am a Private First Class now lass"   

Cera smirks "Thats how ya learn...trying to remember the name...wasn't in my unit, were ya even in one at the time?'   

Zolomon frowns as he downs his ale "Sargent Tarsa, she..she was killed by a vermin..a small few that were in a group called Blackrose had like left before de siege got..bad and, well showed up on the shores of all places.We took them all out but not before they slain..Tarsa and a couple privates and one Recruit...a Hanzi sort of..went insane and had joined them...he like died too though." Seems they lost 3 others..maybe 4 if count Hanzi after the siege in Mossflower.   

Cera frowns as she listens "She..died?" She looks at the floor "I'm...sorry I brought it up...I bet the news when it got here was like...not taken well I mean clearly seeing so few back they had ta..wonder..."She closes her eyes, happy thoughts happy thoughts and no bad flashbacks...her eyes open and she finishes her ale and gets a new one.

Zolomon frowns "Maybe...no more ale...for either of us and they found out a bout...two weeks before they got 'ere...I am....well at time the fastest hare they had...got de news here in like a week and...passed out in de infirm for 2 days and yeah...shock and horror and..lot of things."   

Cera sighs yeah no more ale is good "That...had to be sort of scary and brave and..trieing all at the same time to get back here and ...give the news."   

Zolomon says, "It was like 3-4 scrolls from his Lordship..haded them off ta Q and....then must of passed out, think he blooming caught me and I woke like couple days later in de infirm, legs were sore for like a week..blisters on me foot paws but..well didn't rest much when should of but I knew de news was important and I am still de fastest hare...here..well thar is one just as fast s me..sort of a tie dot ya know"
   
Cera Nods and smiles "So fastest hare huh or ...a tie ya said?"   

Zolomon smiles now "Felicity....me and her be de fastest hare of the western shores..she is also the most beautiful hare in all the western shores, the kindest hare maid...also"He smiles "Easy ta talk to, a good friend...she's great"   

Cera smiles "A friend.....like girlfriend?"   

Zolomon smiles "Well she is a girl and...she is a friend and..."He blushes a little and chuckles "I mean umm...anyways tis late and I should get sleep cause training and all and last time I was late for training I serious regretted it" He waves and heads to bed, been a long day.
