Stress Cooking...Again!?

Patch was just serving drinks in the tavern and decided he needed a break so he left to go outside, but he was unsure where to go.

Ferro walked up and studied the rat then spoke "Have you ssssssssseen Xander? He asks "He issssssssss not in the infirm"

Patch blinks and shrugs "I..have no clue, maybe he went to the abbey or something, all I know is he woke up and his mind sort of got all these holes in it, probably from that fight."

"It might be a good idea to find out or is this a wasted trip, I normally wouldn't do this but Krisha asked and its better than her coming all this way, if he is missing someone is gonna start talking" Says a voice as once they look its Matilda, the Redwall Champion.

Ewan is here as well as he looks around "Maybe he is in the Mossflower Defenders Base, never know till we look, he is the leader or does he know that?"

Patch frowns as he sees the hedgehog and then rolls his eyes "He knows he is the leader..I thinking..he knows his name and other stuff just like  seemed ta not know Oz was dead and he mentioned remembering parts of the siege, then parts of where the Patrol left ta go home and how he had training in the woods and then its all blank."

Ferro frowns and starts heading to  the base right away."We check then" He leaves it at that,plain and simple, and heads on inside.

Matilda follows them and looks around as they enter,she didn't really get too good a look at the place before as she was focused on protecting everyone and being stressed about news of Oz at the time.

The Defenders are here, well most of them....3 otters, 2 squirrels and a ferret named Kidd...and Xander is sitting out a tray of freshly made apple muffins.He slips into the kitchen where there is 2 dozen oatmeal muffins, 2 dozen blueberry muffins, a dozen blackberry muffins, 4 dozen cookies and looks like they are sugar cookies and some oatmeal cookies.He right now is finishing the makings of a blackberry cobbler and stirs a pot of some sort of soup.It all smells so good in here.

Ewan sniffs and smiles "I smell...good, we can stay right?" He gets muffin, or two or maybe three and sits down to taste one and smiles, yeah he likes the muffins.

Patch blinks "Wat the?" He asks as he looks inside and walks over to the badger "Stripy?"

Matilda looks at Xander "Xander...are you ok?"

Xander studies the hedgehog and frowns, but just sits aside the pot of soup "Its a cold cucumber soup, also made a cucumber mint tea, and the muffins and cobbler is ready in an hour. OH and there is cookies and I made buttered rolls, I will make more rolls and you can stay...anyone can stay , unless they are like..evil then not stay, they can go and..ummm.."He frowns as great he doesn't remember the hedgehog."Hello...."

Ewan gets some rolls, soup, another muffin a couple cookies and some tea and water, "He is cooking a lot.I didn't know he cooked, good food"

Patch groans"Oh good grief...he mentioned doing this in Willowbark..stress cooking he called it"

Matilda is half listening to the rat and anyone else as she sighs at Xander and lays a paw on his shoulder "I am Matilda, champion of Redwall...Krisha is worried so I told her I would come check on you, she will be happy to know your out of the infirm and that your awake."

Xander nods slowly "I'm....sorry I don't..remember you but ok.."He frowns "I..don't want to worry Krisha,,,ummm you can stay if like, a snack...lunch, I go walk back to the  abbey with you and..and..."He searches for a name and smiles, "Ewan..."

Ewan nods "Sounds ok...staying is nice and you should cook more often.

Ferro had been quiet but slipped the rest of the way inside and shrugged as he may as well sit down, he did need to get out more than he did.

Patch samples a cookie and smiles "This are fairly good Stripy, maybe cook for the tavern "

Matilda smiles "I can stay, I would love too and then me and you and Ewan head back to the abbey, ok?"

Xander nods as he looks at his friends and manages a smile."I'm...I'm gonna finish some more cobbler....this one is peach and I am sure its good"

Ewan just quietly eats his food and watches the badger ever so often.

Ferro gets a muffin, a roll and some tea before sitting back down.

Patch sighs "Umm..Ya can stop cooking ya know Stripy..I mean..really this is a lot, and we only have one hare in here and your need to..figure out what ta do with all this"

Xander hmms "Take some to the tavern then Patch...and I forgotten I like cooking, yeah pottery is good...so is cooking and it reliefs stress and stress is bad, so...bad..." He sort of spaces out now.

Matilda gently guilds him to a chair and sits down beside him after she makes sure he sits.Another can make sure the rest of the food does not burn, she smiles and offers him a muffin and some tea,"Relax Xander, enjoy a meal with friends and we can chat some ok?" She smiles and will make sure he gets back to the abbey in the morning.
