Ciocan was sleeping, but his sleep was far from peaceful as he tossed and turned and muttered loudly, gripping the cover with his clawed paw and again muttering and clearly having a bad dream or maybe nightmare of some sort.

Zolomon had walked into the  office and looked around, “Odd..” It was unlike the badger to be asleep when it was basically mid morning.”Umm usually he is like...here”

Xander shrugs and looks around, noticing the door to the sleeping quarters and decides to knock upon it”sleeping in?”

Ciocan is normally up at the rising of the sun to do morning drills on the beach and sometimes even before sunrise, but he had not had much sleep the past couple days and it was mid-morning and he still was sleep. The door to his sleeping quarters could be easy pushed open if someone wanted to. He tenses up in his sleep again muttering loudly, tossing and turning more so “No..NOOO.....WHO ARE YOU!”

Zolomon frowns “Ummm...that doesn't sound good.”But he stays where he is, then again if help was needed maybe he should go on into the room.

Xander already decided to, someone could of sneaked in after all meaning the badger harm. He scanned the room and went to Ciocan's side and gently laid a paw on his shoulder “Ciocan?”

Ciocan's eyes snapped open and his paw when for the other badger's throat and a deep growl formed, yet he oddly seemed like he was still within what ever nightmare was going on, he was no way fully awake, but he clearly still has his strength.

Reva pokes her head inside the first doorway “Ummm are beasts allowed ta just like walk into here, and clearly he isn't.”She hears the growl “Wot was that? Ummm I am NOT  going in thar and that's clear, you can your like two ranks above me” Yes push Zolomon in to save the day.”If you die I will tell everyone you fought bravely”

Xander is clearly surprised and clearly had no time to react as he makes a sort of gasp cough or something like that sound and goes to try and pry the paw off his throat.

Zolomon frowned and goes to move and looks to the other room”Gee..thanks lass and do stay 'ere..”He heads in with his saber and then drops it as he frowns more and quickly gets close to Ciocan and Xander “Whoa...you Lordship wake up..wake up please!” Wait is this a good idea to wake a beast from sleep walking or sleep fighting? Yes it is he decides and goes to pull on Ciocan's arm “SUR!!!”

Ciocan growls but focuses on the voices, and he blinks as he seems to come out of his trace, his eyes return to normal .He seems what is happen and  quickly lets go of Xander”Xander?!” He will catch him if he falls backwards or forwards and quickly lay him down, he turns to Zolomon”Get a glass of water and a wet cloth now!”

Reva at first stays back and even backs up, she then hears something about a glass of water and a wet cloth and goes to get the items herself and returns “I have a mug of water sur and a wet cloth see..”She brings them in the room, but she is careful as she is unsure what happen, a quick look around shows no one in here but her, a fellow hare, the badger lord and..oh wait another badger?

Xander groans and falls forwards. He blinks a few times as he is laid down and then rubs his throat “Ouch...”He says and coughs a little”Note...to..self....don't wake you when....your..sleeping or clearing having a bad dream...wake you from a distance”He coughs again, his throat and neck hurt but he is ok otherwise.

Zolomon starts to get the water and then sees Reva and goes to check on Xander “Xandy? Ya ok Xandy?”

Ciocan gets the water and lays the cloth on Xander's forehead, he helps his up enough to drink the water “Drink...”He frowns “I am..sorry Xander, .I am sorry again I could of”He shake his head “If you had been one of my hares.”

Reva stays off to the side, one she isn't sure on walking off yet so she stays.

Xander coughs and sips the water “I..am fine. Seemed you were..having nightmare”He rubs his neck a little and coughs, yep it's sore and may later bruise some but could have been worse”Wot did ya dream?”

Zolomon agrees “Yeah ya blooming well must have had a real bad dream sur.”

Ciocan frowns “I..don't fully remember it, and one time I did other times its bits and pieces and always one thing over and over I do remember”He sighs “My repeating dream is not your concern.”He goes to his main room where his desk is and sits down. The repeating dream clearly brothers him but he decides no more talk of it and a look proves it unwise to ask more about it, so a subject change “So..I heard Xander may be heading back to Mossflower and that you Zolomon wanted to maybe go to Mossflower yourself.” He looks at the hare “Is that true?”

Reva stays there quietly, still was not asked to leave or stay, and curious “Mossflower? Like where Redwall Abbey is?”

Xander sits up slowly and sips more water, “I am heading back either in the morning or maybe the day after that. I got to get back.”

Zolomon nods to both Ciocan and Reva “Yes sur. Some time off ya know, if not that's fine as I know the abbey is 3 weeks trip walking and...well boat is half that time, not that we have a boat, and that's just one way, tis the same amount on the way back”

Ciocan nods as he folds his paw on his desk and quietly decides, “I am unsure. The shores are safe, for now...and there is peace. Halyard seems to be fine. But I don't normally send hares that far without a good reason.”

Reva speaks “Wow..Redwall Abbey..I would love ta see that place, it sounds so cool and so neat and..well it does and.....”Well she can't think of an and but just smiles and looks to be daydreaming of Redwall and Mossflower and adventures maybe.

Xander glaces at Reva and chuckles, then frowns ok hurts to chuckle right now as he finishes the water”Hawkeye and Crevan wanted to go as well. And I think Sinway is heading back, no clue on Ewan but my guess is he likely will if everyone else is heading back”

Zolomon stays at attention as the badger thinks on the answer, he looks to Reva”Tis a long trip lass, tough walk ya need to be ready for such a walk. Good march indeed and not as easy as one thinks”

Reva rolls her eyes “I could walk it, no big deal. I did join the jolly Long Patrol after all. I can walk to the abbey place and back and then do it again I bet.”

Ciocan chuckles “Really recruit?”He smiles as he looks to Zolomon “Would you be willing to take on a little mission?”He keeps the smile “Escort Xander and his friends to the abbey, lets see we may well need an extra hare after all, and...can you handle training a recruit First Class Private Zolomon? This could be a good way to see just how ready Recruit Reva is, a march to the abbey and once ready back to Salamandastron, and of course some training drills in between.. I am sure there is places to run laps, places to do other training as how well can she climb? How well can she do sits ups,push ups, maybe move threw trees and hide, can she hide in areas with out trees, can she listen to sounds around her well?”

Xander sits down in a chair as he listens to see what is going to happen “If its decided the group would be me,Brother Sinway, Ewan, Crevan, Hawkeye and...Zolomon, if he can come”

Zolomon nods”I can train a recruit sur, I know the ins and outs of training recruits seeing as I went through a recruit me on de way from here to Redwall sur.”

Reva stands quietly, should she...or should she just go home, well what home she is a bit homeless”I..yes sur. I still want to be in the Long Patrol and I will do this march, these training drills sur!”

Ciocan stands and looks down at the haremaid “Very well...”He looks to Zolomon and Xander and nods” I will make sure supplies are ready for the trip and you can leave after breakfast.” He nods “Recruit Reva...First Class Private Zolomon you are dismissed.”

Zolomon salutes and heads to the doorway to get ready, as well as get rest for the trip.

Reva smiles and tries to hold back her excitement, a quick salute or a sort of salute as it needs work and she heads out and to her room.

Xander  stands “I can let Crevan and Hawkeye know to meet us on the beach”He glaces at Ciocan and maybe he shouldn't, but he asks “You...sure your ok?”

Ciocan nods “I am fine Xander. Every beast has a bad dream once in a while, its nothing to be concern of.”He smiles “Get ready to head home and tell the Abbot I said hello. I will see if Ewan is heading back as well and maybe give him a letter for the abbot, or have him give it to you if he was staying longer but I do not wish for him to travel alone, he should head back with your group as well.”

Zolomon slips on out the doorway .

Xander nods slowly “Ok Ciocan, I suppose your right.”He smiles “Maybe I will visit again, not sure when gonna get a bit busy in Mossflower soon”

Ciocan smiles “You tend to that then and your welcome to visit any time Xander as I said I will make sure your group has any needed supplies for the trip and wish you safe travels”He will escort the other badger out of his office and then close to door and sighs, thinking on the dream again and shaking his head, what did it mean, again pitch black and those eyes...on golden and one red. He decided to get some more rest and had a guard posted at the door, he would not be disturbed. He would sleep well the rest of the night and in the morning make sure the group has their supplies and then do his morning exercises. He would not have that dream with the eyes again for while, in fact he might decide it was nothing after all, just some random dream after all, but then drams are never really random, they all have a meaning even if that meaning is not found out for a long while in the future. And just cause a dream stops repeating for a while....doesn't mean it wont be had again, everything needs a break....even a repeating dream.
