Xander  is glad of a break but also wants to get back soon as he rests, or somewhat rests, ok its hard to sleep so he sighs and stands up to go a short distance away from camp.

Ewan follows curious as to where he is going "Where you going? There isn't too much to look at now, well then sand is gone...am I talking to much?"

Xander turns and shrugs "I can't sleep too worried for my friends back home and its fine not too far from camp, your Ewan right?"

Ewan nods as he offers a smile "Private Ewan..fighter...ummm sort of"He shrugs "I can use a dirk, not good at running and no one likes me...why is he here, oh great another message or....he can't even march right"He sighs.

Xander nods as he looks around, far too quiet as he stands up "We should walk back"No that they are that far away, like 10 mins maybe."Sides....not the best area, least till morning"

Ewan frowns"Why?"He glaces around "There is the river..there is some tree...mud, this is mud right...ewwww and..."He frowns as ...ok that is not interesting!

Looking at the hare is a toad, toads are ugly and he has a friend oh boy! Hey they use the buddy system! Least there is only two.

Xander frowns as he draws his blade"Now I remember why I hate this area...."

Ewan frowns and...oh great its by his sleeping bag, hide behind the badger"Wot is that? You remember...why do you remember them, are they bad news?"

They are lucky its only two toads as they edge closer to the two beasts, one has a trident and croaks "Rember.......furbeasts killed fellow toads from boat......" One stays where they are the other decides its somehow a good idea to attack the badger!

Xander steps back and slices at the toad staying calm as he does so, "What ever...and this is toads. They like the swamp and tried to attack me and my friends but they backed off when a couple archers took some out..toads don't like anyone on their land."

Ewan frowns and watches as he backs up, "I don't think I like toads, not at all......"

Xander has killed one, and ..there is one other as he snorts "There is just..." He sighs "Oh come on!!" Really..kill one and they add 3, there is 4 as he looks at the hare "Tell me you have your weapon."Watch the toads.

Ewan ears droop "No..."Ok maybe he is the worse hare in history and the others are so right, "I want to go home now"

The 4 toads go to attack, 3 at the badger and 1 at the unarmed hare.

Xander growls and backs up, he kicks one toad, another is now headless, one is smart and backs away and there is the other one after Ewan"Ewan!"

Ewan watches and frowns and eeeks as one toad is a little too close, but falls over with an arrow as Ewan blinks and sees another hare, this is good.

Xander sighs in relieve and fights off the last two toads, another is dead and the last one flees as Xander looks over at the archer and nods."Ok..we should go, he be a fool to have friends too close to camp."But he keeps the blade out as he walks. He just wanted some peace and quiet, well what ever maybe later or another day

Ewan nods and the other hare, a Private Jimbo seems grumpy as he shoves Ewan down and snorts "You should go home really poor excuse for an LP hare...saving your behind..."Ewan frowns and speeds up a little, trips but gets back up.

Xander is listening and looks back at this Jimbo and then Ewan but stays nothing right now as they are almost to camp.

Ewan frowns, Jimbo seems to have fun with this as he smirks"And he doesn't even have a weapon...and he trips...what a joke why did his lordship bring a joke along?" He chuckles

Xander stops, ok that is enough as he goes to grab the hare by his collar and glares, he can explain later"Excuse me...you don't call another hare a joke"

Ewan gasps , meanwhile Jimbo is very surprised "Hey put me down your not my leader and Ewan is a joke..ya should of let the toads have him maybe would of taught him something."

Xander just holds onto the collar as he snorts , he looks at Ewan "Whats his name "He points to the hare and then looks at him again "Left him to the toads? arn't you suppose to help your fellow hare not wish them harm?"

The hare just folds his arms over his chest"Prv . Ewan is a joke he shouldn't even be in the LP or this mission..worse hare in history" Ewan sniffs, crying"Prv Jimbo...."He rushes back to camp as Jimbo rolls his eyes"Crybaby...."

Xander listens and nods "Ok..Private Jimbo....you know what lets find Ciocan..I am sure he love to chat" Yes lets.....

Jimbo eyes widen "Wot....hey its late....he is likely asleep!" Which is likely not true, or maybe it is...still the hare id in trouble now and knows it

Xander shrugs "I am sure one of the officers are awake"He doesn't care the hare is rude, he makes sure he is left off at someone's tent, lets hope Ciocan is awake...and now Xander is going to bed while he can, first find Ewan....then sleep.

Ewan stands outside Ciocan's tent quietly, he is still messenger and so sits and waits as he over hears Jimbo speaking and sighs .

Jimbo talks loud "And I assure you misunderstanding....I called the toad a joke, you know wot....of course sur..."He then walks out of the tent and just happens to see Ewan and glares.

Silverwing is flying along, find his friends is the mission as he soon finds the camp and ...it seems hares are a little uneasy around the large bird who just steps back "Is friend..not badbeast..look for Xanderfriend...please?"

Xander sighs as he walks past the two hares and slows a little as he watches Ewan and Jimbo and just frowns, he seems to debate on walking back over towards the tent.

Ewan ears droop He says nothing and just stares at Jimbo. Jimbo on the other hand is peeved "You..you RUNT..I almost got in trouble cause of you loser, your a joke and maybe one day They will freaking see that!" Ewan frowns and then takes a deep breath "I am not a joke or a loser and ..and your a jerk..."He gets no more words out as he is punched and knocked out cold by Jimbo.

The tent opens and it soon becomes clear Prv Jimbo is in deep trouble as a large paw grabs his shoulder and turn him around and he soon faces one very angry Badger Lord. "Private Jimbo explain yourself..now."He keeps his voice as calm as he can for now.

Xander gasps and speeds up to check on Ewan, a few other hares step over and watch to see what is going on, hares even stop some late night before bed training to see what is going on.

Silverwing blinks "Where bunnies going?" He makes his way over and tilts his head as he stays off to the side. Some hares concerned about the bird now turn to see what is going on with Private Jimbo and Ciocan.

Ewan is out cold, not even a groan and his nose is bleeding but lucky its not broken.

Jimbo eyes widen as he looks into Ciocan's eyes "Um..Your...your Lordship...see....poor Ewan he tripped and..fell and I was about to check on him..sur"Lieing threw his teeth.

Ciocan clears his throat, "Your lieing to me Private Jimbo. I have ears and I have eyes, I open the tent just in time to see you knock out Ewan..."He takes a deep calming breath "Stand at Attention Prv Jimbo!" He glaces at Xander "Xander...please take Ewan to the healers tent over there"He points to a tent, his voice barely calm and now he looks at Jimbo and is far from calm"Explain to me..NOW the meaning of this! I have reason to believe it was no misunderstanding what happen with the toads..." Oh he is mad, not a good thing.

Xander gently picks up Ewan and takes him to the healer's tent and lays him down backing off so the healers can tend to the hare and slips back outside, but stays by the healer tent for now.

Silverwing makes his way over to Xander and makes a soft caw sound as she goes to lay her head on his shoulder."Silverwing find friend, friend is ok"

Ewan groans weakly as he starts to awaken, to pain and coughs a little...blood..there is blood and its his as he barely remembers..oh yeah Jimbo's fist and then blackness.

Jimbo backs up and looks at the ground "I..I...see."Then he does something he shouldn't "Prv Ewan IS a joke sur, he should be made to walk back to the mountain by his self. Why did you even bring him that was a dumb move on your part."

And several gasps are heard, one hare whimpers and runs back into their tent...some others back a little ways off. All stareing at Jimbo like what the heck did you just do!

Ciocan glares at the hare and grabs him by the collar so they are snout to snout "Do you mind repeating what you just said to me....never mind I heard...."He lets out a growl barely containing his anger."This will be a first...you are demoted back to Recruit...I do NOT have time for this sort of behavior Recruit Jimbo...maybe I will have one of the scouts escort YOU back to the mountain and report to one of the Corporals in charge. I will not have one of my hares backtalk me."He calls over one of his scouts.

Xander watches and listens as he frowns, he nods to Silverwing and ruffles her feathers a little "Hey...yeah I am fine..."

Silverwing nods, she frowns "Harebeast backtalk badgerking?"

Ewan meanwhile is tended to, not too much they can do as he frowns, the bleeding does slow through.

Jimbo just is quiet and maybe even a little afraid "B..but..s...s..sur" Oh boy he has done it now. "Please...sur...."

Ciocan finally notices the large bird and looks to the scout as he nods "I want you and Prv Sue to make sure Recruit Jimbo gets back to the MT. and then you two can stay there, its fine"Two less hares wont cause any trouble, there is like how many here. The scout and Prv Sue come forwards and salute" I expect a message back soon."He lowers Jimbo and looks at him, making it clear he is serious and then walks over towards Xander and the eagle"Sorry about Jimbo..trust me I don't think he will be acting that way again towards any fellow hare and if he does...I will deal with it upon my return."

Xander nods to the Badger Lord , he then nods "This is Silverwing....she is a friend, a messenger and good fighter when needed...speaking of messages do you have any Silverwing?"

Silverwing shakes her head "None...was on way to Mossflower when see friends and all the bunnies, then see tall badger argue with the one rude bunny. Silverwing can make sure rude bunny get back to Mt. home and then Silverwing can head to Mossflower..check on friend beasts and then find Xanderfriend and give reports...."he shifts some "Silverwing need fishes and waterdrinks....before go.." She tilts her head.

Jimbo frowns and salutes the badger lord as he stays where he is, oh yeah he knows he is in deep deep trouble, seems he is finally having a bad day and trust me this news will spread like wildfire thorough the camp!

Ciocan nods "That would be good friend bird"He chuckles "Maybe some of my hares can help you find some fish and get you some water before your trip and any news from Mossflower will be of great help"

Xander nods"And be careful Silverwing, things may well be a lot worse."

Silverwing nods and she goes off to have a little fish, some water and then flies off to first make sure Jimbo, Private Sue and the scout get back to the Mt. safe and sound and then it's off to Mossflower as quick as she can, being a bird it shouldn't take too long and eagles are fast

Ewan finally steps out of the tent and sits down with a sigh, holding a rolled up pack of some sort on his swollen snout.

Ciocan walks over to Ewan and kneels down to somewhat his level laying a gentle paw on his shoulder "Are you alright Prv Ewan?"

Xander comes over to check on the hare as well, for now he stays off to the side.

Ewan frowns, he sighs as he speaks sounding sort of funny thanks to a swollen snout "I..don't...sur" He frowns and sniffs, ok that hurts and just leans forwards and cries a little..a few hares stare at the hare

Ciocan carefully stands and scoops Ewan into his arms, he looks at the hares watching"To bed all of you that is an order we march at first light"He knows he doesn't  have to tell them twice as he goes to carry Ewan off to his tent when he and the hare can better chat if needed he nods to Xander "You need to get some sleep as well Xander...go check on your friends and we shall see one another in the morning when we start marching again."

Xander nods "Yes sir"He says and heads off to bed, yes he needs sleep..he checks on the group that came with him and then sleep time.

Ewan just frowns, and wipes away some tears as he is carried off, its been a long day for him.
