A Most Exciting Night-Black Rose/Fate of Marek TP

Mossflower woods , not too very far from the abbey

Kishiko-An almost slave, but escaped shrew maid

Kakarauri cackled insanely, she LOVED the thrill of a good chase. “Run run, not that it will do you any good!”

Kishiko was already tired from running, she hurt her arm when she fell but got up and keep running, even though it was so very hot outside.

Stormfang frowned and stopped by a tree “Its too hot to chase anyone, can we just let her go, we have others”

Kakarauri just glared at the rat “She will go try and get help, and how do we explain, well we got 4 new slaves but gee one GOT AWAY...nope nope wont do, come now”

Kishiko looked back and forth and frowned as she held her arm, it hurt by the wrist but  she had to get somewhere, anywhere to safety.

Stormfang shrugged “Say we killed her?” He frowns “I don't think she would be of any use anyways.”

Xander was close by looking around and was headed back to the abbey. He wiped sweat from his brow and frowned at his empty water canteen, but he was close to the abbey so it couldn't be too bad a walk from where he was .

Falk was flying nearby and landed close the shrew and let out a caw, to try and force her to run back towards the others.

Kishiko screamed and  backtracked another way. She pants and lets out a small whimper as this day for her seems to have gotten worse”Leave me alone....HELP ME!”

Stormfang just smiles”No one is here, well good that is...come on ya friends will worry about you.”

Falk just keeps close and watches

Kakarauri smiles coldly “That's the last thing we want to do....right? Your your 4 friends...now come”

Xander has head the cry for help and of course went to the aid of the shrew and looked at what was before him and  made a fist with his paw, slavers was one thing he hated.

Kishiko just starting crying and backed up bumping into a tree, she was tried and worn out and just scared right now.

Stormfang nods “See...all better now we can take you to your friends”

Falk tilts his head and just caws softly, if she runs he will just get a snack, if not that's fine as there is fish nearby also in the river.

Kakarauri just smirks “Welcome to the Black Rose...slave”

Xander choose this moment to jump down from the tree he had climbed and just glared at the marten “I....DON'T....THINK....SO” His words sounded full of hate “Leave” A commanding tone to them “Now”

Kishiko jumped slightly and hugged her knees to her chest, fear in her eyes as she was not sure what was happening.

Stormfang frowned “Umm..that's a badger..what do we do...he has a large blade that looks shape and he seems...mad”

Falk puffed out and looked ready to either fly off or peck someone.

Kakarauri looked at Stormfang “Really” Yes being sarcastic “I though it was a strange flying fish with a hat” She smirked at the badger as she studied him “And who are you.....striped dog?”

Xander narrowed his eyes “Xander....leader of the Mossflower Defenders and your not taking the shrew anywhere.”

Kishiko stayed very still, a flash of hope that maybe she would be ok after all.

Stormfang frowns but stays quiet, then again frowns “They don't like to be called that”

Falk just perns a wing and waits for any orders.

Kakarauri just chuckles “What...Striped dog...leader of the Defenders you say, oh yes..”She smiles “Ace mentioned you, not that is helped him or the squirrel friend of his, did he have a name too? Oh well not that it matters your never see them again.”

Xander raises his blade, battle fire starting to come alive in his vision “What did you do with Ace?”

Kakarauri smirks “Me?...Nothing but make sure he didn't escape, oh he tried and failed, so did the squirrel and , oh a couple of the Black Rose...died, oh well weak guards....no I did nothing, Ormaz did..he sold them, and by now they are miles from Mossflower. Never to be seen again...and he was so sure you come to help save the day, did you save his day....no you didn't save it at all, you saved nothing stripe dog””

Stormfang raised a paw and then quickly backed away, he looked at the badger worried now .

Xander takes a deep breath and his eyes flash before he raises his blade and then goes to slice at the marten.

Kakarauri just stays calm, she waited and now draws out her newest weapon, two long blades one to block the blade of the badger and the other to stab forwards.

Stormfang just blinks and watches.

Falk stays curious and then flies off, he needs food and seems fish is best but he will check later for any possible badger meat.

Xander tenses as the blade is blocked and gasps as the other sinks into his padded armor and on into the area just under his collar bone , the pain causes him to almost drop his own blade, the armor stopped it from going as deep as it could of, he sends a swift kick at the marten.

Kishiko gasps as she sees this and whimpers.

Kakarauri growls and tries to pull the blade out, and then push it further into his collarbone and force it to move, only resulting in a loud snap and the blade breaking off as she stumbles backwards.

Stormfang eyes widen “That...is not good”

Xander snarls as he slips into bloodwrath for a moment or two and barely manages to get back into control and  slices at the marten as she stumbles backwards. He is lucky the blade missed his main blood artery or....and if not for the armor it would of, but the pain is still intense and he will need that blade out, but a skilled healer's paw...or two. He fights the urge to just give in to needed rest as he is also starting to become overheated.

Kakarauri gets a slice to her upper arm and  stumbles sideways, she snorts and ..”Retreat  Stormfang...”Yes flee and live another day, she too needs a healer as blood pours down her arm.

Stormfang nods and just quickly follows.

Kishiko looks at the badger and sniffs “Your...your hurt”

Xander forces himself to painfully put his blade away and tenses up in pain. He nods and manages to stay awake as he careful picks up the shrew and heads to the abbey, he staggers once and grunts as he sees the gates...making it just barely and dropping to his knees, almost dropping the shrew as his vision spins.

Kishiko blinks and frowns, she looks up at the now stareing guards “Help....help!”

The gate is soon open and guards rush around “Someone get Angela!..And Brother Raphael!” They look at the badger and frowns “Hey...stay awake...stay awake....”

Xander vision spins, he grunts and tenses up before passing out. The blade is broke off and clearly the padded armor still saved his life, but the blade needs out with very skilled paws. He mutters something before passing out.

Kishiko looks at the guards as one takes her inside the gatehouse and the others get the badger some help and make sure the gates are locked back up once all are inside safe.
