Hey, y'all. This is the first forum RP we're doing here. I thought a nice beginning RP would be something silly and fun, and what's more silly than a bunch of rebellious Dibbuns? Except let's have them be leverets in Salamandastron and thus have gigantic appetites! This is happening earlier in the timeline than what we've seen recently. I was thinking in 2020 or so (when Mossflower wasn't being conquered and what have you, of course). If you had a leveret character in Salamandastron, you can play them here! Additionally, you can play unnamed leverets in the chaos, or even the adults who have to deal with them! If you've always wanted to make a leveret char and never was able to, this can be a great time to do so. And if you use a char that maybe wasn't necessarily there in 2020, that's okay; this RP is just for fun, so time can be a little bit wibbly wobbly

SCENE:

It is two in the morning. All the creatures of Salamandastron are asleep, save for the hares on watch. They are up on the top and sides of the Mountain, guarding the ancient fortress from any attacks, should they come. No attacks are forthcoming, but it is always good to keep watch. Just in case.

However, what they really ought to be guarding are the internal tunnels. Because it turns out that not all the hares are sleeping. The leverets of the Mountain have awoken, hungry and thirsty, which is never a good thing. Some choose to stay in their beds and try to go back to sleep. The vast majority of them, however, have decided that they require sustenance or they shall die immediately (as hares are wont to think). So slowly and quietly they creep from their beds, sneaking out the door of the dormitories, managing to (somehow) not wake the hares left in charge of them. The leverets of varying ages gather in the hallway outside the leveret dorms, muttering mutinously about how the adults are trying to kill them with inadequate rations.

Julia is, of course, in the midst of this rabble. Clutching her dolly tight, she looks around, her green eyes taking in everybeast who has gathered. The entirety of the Salamandastron Dibbuns Against Bedtime is out here, as are most of the other leverets of the Mountain. The auburn-furred mischief maker quietly shushes them all. The DAB leverets quiet immediately, then hush the others around them so their leader can speak. "We gotsa be very quiet," Julia whispers. "Can'ts be wakin' da gwown ups, wot! Now c'mon, let's sneak t'da kitchens!"

Grace had done the scary thing, she'd snuck out while her dad was sleeping. It wasn't the first time she'd done it, night raids on the kitchen were always a welcomed suggestion for the mountain dibbuns, but she did have about a 40% chance of waking Greg up. Grace was getting better at it with practice and she knew she could out run her father before he'd put his leg on but that only ever delayed the inevitable if he woke up and sometimes she'd had to miss out, grounded before she even got going.

Tonight she was lucky. A day of forge work left Greg sleeping well and Grace was free to literally skip down the corridors with the others "If they're not awake now they're not goin't'be" she replies to being told to be quiet, defying orders as usual. She wasn't yelling it at least, she said it quietly but it definitely wasn't a whisper and as she swung her arms and swayed on the spot it was pretty clear Grace wasn't in a sneaky, calm and quiet kind of mood. She wasn't even there because she was hungry, sometimes Grace liked to embrace the chaos of doing things she wasn't supposed to just for the sake of it. It was fun. Even if she had to put up with Julia.

Earlbuck has yet to grow-- both in size and in wisdom. He'a trailing the other leverets, obviously.
His mother was off on some patrol outside the mountain to a far off (to him) town (or so he believed).
He rubs his ear.

"'Ulia!" he whispers loud enough to wake the dead, and from the back of the group of course. Perhaps there's a hint of knowingly stirring the pot when the leveret adds, ever so slightly quieter, "Grafe th'aid th'omefing!"
