Zolomon- Sergeant and Runner ( when this icly happen anyways.)..Archer

This Icly happen right before Zolomon learned his fate from  Lord Ciocan

Zolomon sat on the cot, the room a plain, just the cot, in the room.No windows just...its plain and here he sits as the Badger Lord decided after lunch be best.The hare snorts and lays down to stare at the very boring plain ceiling.

Felicity has been concerned for her friend, and while she's sad he got himself in trouble, she's glad he's back safely.  She takes a trip to visit him before he is punished...she dreads what will happen to him.  She nods to the guard, then enters the room, closing the door behind her.  "Zolomon, I'm so glad y'alright.  I've been so worried 'bout you."

Zolomon looks over at the doorway "Yeah....back"His voice monotone..."Lt. Velm is seriously annoying...then so is Elbio....like good grief."

Felicity looks sad, but she decides to let it slide.  "It's good t'see you....'lthough I miss y'old self.  Did y' 'ear any good jokes y'wanna share?"  She sits on the edge of his cot, trying to smile, but it doesn't reach her eyes.  "Did y'see any o' y'friends while y'were in Redwall?"

Zolomon rolls his eyes "Jokes? And no real friends thar.."He seems to look to be thinking about this and snorts again."Keep me in some old office  like 4 days,then only  let me out cause  de father Abbot told em' to...well least a couple days till..marched back here..."He crosses his arms"Whatever"

Felicity furrows her brows.  She figures the Badger Mother is alive -- they would've heard if she had died, right? -- but she decides to press Zolomon.  "Wasn't Krisha there?  Isn't she okay?  I thought she was your friend.  And what about DoraRose?  Or even the Abbot?"

Zolomon glaces at her as the names are mentioned "They were thar....spoke to me some." He starts to frown  a little but it's only briefly.

Felicity smiles a little.  "Oh, good.  I don't think they would've talked to you if they weren't y'friends.  Did they seem well?"  She's trying to get through his walls.  She doesn't know if he's listening or not.

Zolomon says, "why ya so interested...not much at Redwall and didn't get ta go to the feast...then again neither did Velm and.."He rolls his eyes "Donica.."

"Because I'm worried 'bout you!  I want t'make sure y'saw some friends while y'were there.  Y'need your friends 'round you."  Felicity is getting a little frustrated.  She just wants him to be his normal self.

Zolomon snorts , he is silent a long while and then speaks"No.."He says..."I..don't.." He seems to have a little trouble with the last word.

Felicity looks sad again.  "Yes, y'do.  We all do.  'Tis the way we're made.  'Tis th' only way t' 'eal an' be whole."  She pauses, then adds, "I'm y'friend."

Zolomon nods slowly as if agreeing with her.He sighs and stands to pace some." I'll probably just be off duty like a...season or something. " well least he is talking a little .

Felicity is actually a little surprised, but no way is she gonna show it!  "Prob'ly."  She thinks it's actually going to be way worse than that, but no point in bursting his bubble.  "I wondah what they'll be 'avin' y'do 'roud th'Mountain durin' tha' time, if they 'ave y'do anythin'.

Zolomon just snorts.." Probably keep me in this room , seems popular...keep him in a room." He shakes his head.

Felicity cocks an eyebrow.  "I thought y'said they let y'outta th'room at Redwall.  Whot did y'do thah?"  She thinks for a moment.  "Maybe they'll let y' 'elp in th'kitchens or wi' th'leverets or somethin'." 

Zolomon says, "They didnt want ta let me out..should of knocked Elbio out is wot should of done.."

Felicity purses her lips.  "I don't think y'mean that, Zolomon.  The Zolomon I know is kind an' wouldn't do that, 'tis a fact."  She watches him.  "What did y'do 'round th'Abbey aftah they let y'out of th'old office?"

Zolomon just looks away then speaks. " I had ta stay by Mother Krisha's side..she was in charge of me till...Velm and Donica beought me back, they were annoying the whole way up...oh well, Velm will learn suppose."

Felicity ignores his complaints about people being annoying again.  "Did y' 'ave a nice time wi' Krisha?"  She's trying to keep him communicating.  At least he's actually talking to her and not giving her attitude.

Zolomon shrugs. " Don't call...guarded a good time." He doesn't  mention any talking or where they walked.

Felicity snorts herself.  "Krisha doesn't seem like th'...guardin' type, unless we're talkin' 'bout 'er guardin' Dibbuns from the enemy, wot!"

Zolomon says, "well she didnt let me leave her side. suppose it were...ok, she did make de Lt. back off"

Felicity raises her eyebrows.  "Oh, really?  That sounds intimidatin', 'onsetly, 'specially for the lieutenant.  Badgahs can be terrifyin'."  She'll have to ask someone else what happened.

Zolomon shrugs."Suppose...tough..fearless.." A deep breath " Badgers are.."

Felicity nods.  "Aye....an' really, really big.  But th'ones I've know 'ave always been kind....jus' like Krisha is...right?"

Zolomon hmmmmm.." His Lordship much bigger.." His one ear sort of droops as he goes silent again.

Felicity sits silently for a moment.  "What're y'thinkin', Zolomon?  I'm 'ere t'listen, if y'need it."  The she falls silent again.

Zolomon just speaks quietly." None ya..." He stops,  had it been anyone else  he likely would of gotten rude with most other hares here.

Felicity tries to not be hurt.  But it's hard.  So she changes the subject.  "I remembah when Zinnia was 'ere.  We became friends.  She was kind an' gentle.  D'y'remembah Zinnia?  She was Xandah's mum.  She was Abbey Recordah.  I'm not sure if y'2 evah met, actually..."

Zolomon is silent  as he listens and seena to tense up at Xanders name..." I....yeah...maybe..." He is silent again and sits down breathing deeply a couple times,silent so silent. He finally looks up but one single tear does escape, he looks down quickly and clears his throat...silent now.

Felicity just listens, like she said she was here for.  When she sees his tear, she goes to hold his paw, if he'll let her.  But she continues the silence.  There's not anything she could say to make it better, and she knows it.

Zolomon oddly...lets her hold his paw. He is just silent.

Then the door opens and his head snaps up, he stares and then glares as the random hare backs up." It's...time ta see Lord Ciocan."

Zolomon stands slowly, they go to lay a paw...nope slapped away as a muttered.." I know where  ta go..." He is still follow to make sure.

Felicity holds his paw until he stands.  She stays seated on the cot, watching them go.  A tear trickles down her cheek.  The Sergeant is very worried for her friend.  She can only hope everything turns out alright in the end...
