Zolomon wakes Up

Who:

Zolomon- Archer and former Long Patrol hare

Errapel- old anicent otter, healer

Kelp- otter cub and little brother to Vonda
.
Vonda- Adopted into otter holt

Yeah its short...

Log:

Zolomon stayed unconscious for 2 days.  His eyes slowly opened and pain told him he was somehow alive.

Errapel was beside him, the ancient otter smiled." Ello to you, it's good to see you awake."

" Hes awake?" Kelp came over quickly and waved." Hey ya, I'm Kelp!"

Zolomon blinked and spoke weakly,his throat dry." Otter...holt…?"

Errapel gets him water." Small sips and no...your in my den, vonda and Kelp saved your life getting you to me."

Vonda walked in hearing voices  ." Your awake" She smiles wide as she goes to sit by Zolomon, she has her hooded cloak off and one thing is quickly noticed. She is not an otter.

Vonda is a hare!

Kelp smiles." He did not go dead."

Zolomon is just…" Your..a hare?!" He is confused." But you said your holt " He frowns, tried and sore.

Errapel gets him water and some willowbark tea. Also a bit of warm broth.

Vonda nods " yes. My parents died in a ship wreck and...I sort of wandered onto the holt and they took me in, they are family now and the otters that adopted me had Kelp a few seasons later so  he is my little brother." She adjusts the covers." You should rest Zolomon."

Zolomon nods "Yeah…" He has some tea and broth as well as water and slips into sleep.

Errapel speaks" He will live now, but it will take time to fully recover. In the meantime Vonda, you and Kelp will stay here. Those vermin still are camped close by but will likely leave in a day or two."

Kelp frowns." Bad beasts need go way"

Vonda nods, she gets a  cool rag and lays it on Zolomon's forehead and checks his bandages. She watches him sleep and then beads to bed to rest as well.

Zolomon sleeps a lot the next couple days, sipping water and veggie broth sometimes, he is glad to be alive.
