Impormptu Debriefing - LP 4/14/21

Pvt. Donica and Msg Terrence

Donica was back now, though she would of liked staying longer, missing a famous Redwall feast, she punches the punching bag again. She might be a healer but every hare had to do some training in here during the week.

Having returned himself to Salamandastron from Halyard only a week ago, Terrence found himself eager to return to the work being done in the village. Yet work here needed doing, and so here he was. It had been some time since new recruits had come to the mountain, and now the weather allowed for most training outside, advanced maneuvers and practice fights. Terrence comes into the room, directing himself towards the armory; but he pauses seeing Donica. While he hadn't expected the training room to be deserted, per say, he didn't expect the healer. "Afternoon, private!"

Donica quickly stands at attention. "Hallo sur... I got back and made a report, Lt. Velm did the main report."

"Indeed, welcome back." Terrence gives a short nod. "Of course," He adds, after a moment of silence, "How was the rogue agent, let's call him? Did he offer much trouble on the way back?"

Donica shakes her head. "No trouble, didn't try to run off... well he did run off once but not very far. Course till we got to the shores we were in a log boat so little harder to rush off."

Terrence takes in the words, nodding slowly again. "I see. How did he treat the lieutenant? Come to think of it - how did he treat both, meaning Velm and Reed, of course."

Donica replies." Him and Lt. Reed had a couple arguments,  no phisical fighting happen..that I know of. He was placed in an old office till me and Velm could bring him back here." She frowns. "We sadly had to miss the Spring Feast but his Lordship had said bring the Sergent back ASAP."

"May very well be formal sergeant, now..." Terrence remarks. "As fo'h Lt. Velm and yourself - how was Zolomon's behavior towards you two? The reason I'm asking is because I'm rathah curious how he treated an officer disconnected from all that made him run and how he treated an enlisted - belligerence, defiant, the ilk... "

Donica nods. "I mostly avoided him till on way back.He complained  couple times,  muttered or was just quiet. You're likely have to ask velm for any other info."

Terrence grunts. "Right, I'll be sure to check with the Lt. Howevah, I do want to know how he addressed you." The NCO narrows his eyes, searching for something in her face. "Did he treat you as if he were still an active sergeant of the Patrol? Ordah you around and the like? When you weren't avoiding him, of course, though I can't blame you on that account."

Donica replies. "He did once say to go away and get out of his way. I...didn't but only cause the Lt. had said Zolomon needed to be between us in case he tried to rush off, it likely been unwise to let him be behind or even in front of us both.I am surprised he didn't slip off one time me and Velm both was asleep"

"His paws were bound, I presume?" Terrence sighs. "He's a strong hare, despite his foolishness - a dangerous combination as we've all seen." Shaking his head, he begins to make his way to the armory. "Not mattah - you and Velm got him back, fo'h bettah o'h fo'h worse, and you've got the patrol's thanks. Luckily you, the lieutenant, and I hope myself will no longah have to deal with him; that's the badgerlord's job now."

Donica nods. "Yes sur... as for his paws bound,not all the time. He did help with rowing on the log boat and right before we got to the mountain his paws were free... but four hares did bound them when they took him inside and Lt. Velm went to find Lord Ciocan. "

"Of course, of course." Terrence idly waves a paw. "Well, he's back regardless. I'll stop bothering you now about the trip, for I've my own things to be doing. Thanks fo'h answering the questions, Pvt. Donica." With those words he enters the armory, searching for the practice weapons.
