Getting Ready For The Feast

Benar had on a traveling cloak and was ready to go. Beside him was a group of 20 novices and about 6 order beasts.

Matilda came out of the cottage,  the blade of Martin the Warrior on her back. " I decided I am going as well Benar, what would beasts think it I let you go off without me. "

Elbio walks towards the entrance and nods a hello, he turns to Benar." Sur Abbot. I have sent off Lt. Velm and Private Donica with Zolomon right after breakfast was done.I will be part of the escort. I can be in the rear of the group  keeping watch."

Krisha walks into the entry,no tagalongs with her." You sure you want me in charge of the abbey a few days?"

Ciana comes trotting along and drags her backpack to stand by Elbio." I come too, when we leave? We gonna find flowers maybe,  they will need flowers..but I gots lots of colored paper in case need ta make some!"

Benar smiles at Krisha" You will be fine Krisha, I would not leave you on charge if I felt you could not handle it." He nods to Matilda." Of course.." And to Elbio." Thank you for the update. I am sure Velm was not too pleased to head off so soon."

Matilda stays off to the side and watches the road.

Jasmine smiles as she joins the group,or least she hopes to join." May I come and help as well?"

Elbio sighs and kneels down to hug Ciana. " Ciana, honey..you one day want to be in the Long Patrol correct?"

Ciana smiles proudly. " Yes daddy.

Krisha smiles." Your right Benar, things will be fine for a few short days."She folds her arms over her chest as she addresses the hare dibbun." Young lady, you are staying here right here in this abbey."

Benar let's the badger handle the dibbun as he speaks to Jasmine. " Your help is always welcomed Jasmine. "

Jasmine smiles." Thank you Abbot Benar."

Elbio speaks. " A Long Patrol hare first learns obedience.

Down the road came the Head Guard of Ferravale, Anne And with her five guards. " I am here fo escort you to the GUOSIM camp.,"

Ciana nods to Elbio and goes to stand by the Badger Mother

Benar greets the Head Guard." Welcome to the abbey. I and some novices and order beasts are ready to go." He clears his throat as he speaks to a couple Order Brothers seeing him off." Mother Krisha is in charge while I am at the GUOSIM camp. She can greet Blisa when she comes to escort everyone else to the camp. "

Elbio smiles at his daughter and goes back over to the others." I will also help with escorting to the feast as well. I shall help the novices to camp today and then go back to the abbey, on feast day I lead the rest that are still here, to the camp  "

Anne just nodded, she is a beast of few words today. She heads off as guard when everyone is ready.

Krisha heads back inside the main abbey with the beasts that watched the small group head off.

Benar smiles." Well let us head off. I very much want to see the camp.  It's been a while since visited the GUOSIM."

Elbio chuckles and stays in the back as rear guard.His officer blade and even longbow is with him.

== Few hours later===

The camp was busy as the shrews were finishing getting ready for their guests.The new Log-A-log checking on things. " Yeah thar is good for de smoke pit….and yeah another one..here yes. We can have tables form a circle around a bonfire."

Zeek smirks." Bossy...I be de one. Cooking and over seeing most things." He was the main cook.

Blade just grins. " This get ta gather gonna be fun."

Leigh sits on a log sorting some early spring healing herbs

The Abbot and the group with him arrives.

Anna ,once she makes sure all is here and  well heads back to  Ferravale to report to Blisa.

Elbio smiles and finds a place to sit." I can head back in the morning Benar, to the abbey.Oh...there is a weasel, she said she is granddaughter to a.. Compest think was."

Benar nods.A smile as he makes sure all the supplies go where they are needed and a couple shrews help the novices.

Jasmine looks around. " Wow….the camp  is interesting. "

Xavier bows to the guests " Welcome friends!"

Zeek is glad a couple novice are moles as the smoked fish pits will be made better.

Blade grins.' We need a good log rolling contest, who keeps from splashing into de river longest! And not ta worry wont be a de too deep part, also shrews be good swimmers."

Leigh waves from where she sits.

Benar smiles at Xavier." Thank you Log-A-log,  you seem to be doing well."

Elbio speaks., " Hey Loggy? Thar is a weasel, she is a friend and good so be nice."

Xavier grins at the Abbot and nods." Trust me this feast will be one to remember." He replies to Elbio." I try to get along with all, if you say she is good, she is good my friend. "

Zeek has a small meeting with the group that comes, he will update Benar a little lAbbot.

Jasmine smiles, she will help best she can.

Leigh walks over slowly to greet the abbot.

Xavier  nods to Leigh, then a question." Abbot Benar do you think a healer of yours could stay at the camp. Leigh is the only healer and her dibbun is to be born in a couple months...so seems the healer,  needs a healer or...well will need a healer that is."

Benar listens and nods. " I will think on this as travel is likely unwise for her now."

Xavier nods and smiles." Also...name ideas for de feast?"

Benar just smiles." You and your shrews are in charge, I am sure your pick a good name." He then heads off to help and then catch up on news and other chats.
