Take A Day Off- LP LOG

WHO:

Elbio- Ensign, Archer,Fighter in Long Patrol

Donica- Healer,Private in Long Patrol

Zolomon- Sergeant,  Runner,Archer in Long Patrol

LOG

Elbio walked along the half finished deck and smiled, the hares and some helpers had got a lot done in a couple days as work on the 2nd half of the deck was getting worked and about ¼ of the way done.He nodded as a private took some nails over to the work site.

Donica walked over,some dust on her where she had been digging holes for the poles." Well the poles for the 2nd half of the dock are just about done sur."

Zolomon made his way over,a brief nod." Sur….quiet so far today, no troubling issues to report." His long bow at his side, like all the time.

Elbio nods to Zolomon" That's good Sargeant. I like no issues as more  work gets done that way."

Donica frowned a little at Zolomon but muttered a " Hallo."

Zolomon just nodded,  he never smiled anymore and always had either no emotion,  was grumpy,or just too serious at times.

Elbio sighs, " Why don't you take the rest of the day off Sargeant.  It be good to have some rest, everyone needs rest and are allowed rest"

Donica nods in agreement. " It's good to clear the mind, maybe get a drink at the tavern. The roof is fixed now. "

Zolomon snorts" I get 6 to 7 hours of sleep, all other hours I am keeping watch,or making sure messages are delivered, I even carried some supplies one day. So no..rest of the day off as wot if that's when something happen,well not on my watch will I allow anything to happen that causes trouble or harm to my fellow hares."

Elbio frowns, " Zolomon, look a day off to clear your head?Like...some no worries and I have others to patrol the docks you know.Also have had a day off since we got here?"

Donica excuses herself, she is gonna go help with some sanding and getting water proof finish on some wood boards for the docks.

Zolomon folds his arms over his chest. "I have not and won't take one. A day off anything could happen and there is work to be done and beasts to protect sur or is that not important to you?"

Elbio takes a deep breath,  he has matured a food deal from when they first got here, he has learned a lot of leadership skills, ups and downs of it.He has yelled once at a couple slacking Privates. " Zolomon.." Seriousness in his voice. " Take the rest of the day off starting now and this is not a request."

Zolomon glares a little, silence and then " Fine...sur and when you all wake in de dark forest don't come as ghosts crying ta me!" He walks off, yeah unhappy moody hare here.

Elbio sighs as his ears droop some. He then goes to the small office space he made in the Harbor Master building,he needs a couple hours alone to clear his own head.
