It was a clear quiet night,a a good night to stargaze even, a small fire was lit at the campsite, a couple beasts asleep by the campfire and others asleep in tents nearby. The cart is nearby also.

Milo yawned as he was awake, one of only a couple awake. An otter was at the entry to the meadow to stand guard. Though he didn't seem to worried, the night was so quiet.

Snowdrop was in her gut, making dandelion tea and getting to bed a little late, she had spent time with her friend and even decided to tag along to Redwall Abbey after a short chat. Her hut would be fine and she only be gone a short while.She poured the tea and sat down to drink it, she would end up falling asleep in her chair.

The otter yawned.MId yawn the otter fell backwards with an arrow in his throat.

Silent figures walked over top of him and into the meadow 40 in all. A wildcat walked beside them." Now then," He smiles coldly' Kill"

Cilia came up beside him and listened.

The silence did not last long, as the vermin went into tents some of the innocent creatures did not get a chance to wake at all,they died without a sound. A couple woke and screamed waking others.

Milo was half asleep and then quickly came fully awake and rushed out of the wagon he stayed in and his eyes went wide." No...no!"

Zoltar grins as he came forwards" Yes. Yes….Hello I am Zoltar and I will be the last thing you see before you die"

A hare came out rubbing her eyes. " Lovd come back to……." A gasp as she sees sheer chaos around her.

Most of the traveling show was dead. Tents ripped apart and a couple tents were burning. A mouse cried as they hid behind what was likely a parent.

Milo turned to the other hare,," Violet run, run to Snowdrop's hut..go!"

Zoltar went to slice at Milo while he was distracted and cackles insanely as he enjoys this. This was pure ambush on the innocent group of woodlanders.

Violet did not need to be told twice, she ran towards the path to the badger's hut.

Milo tenses up in pain and went to kick Zoltar as blood poured down his side and back.

Meanwhile the rest of the woodlander group was slain, all that was left alive was Milo and Violet. The vermin lost one beast. The ambush was a total success

Snowdrop woke to the smell of.." Smoke?' She was not too worried as the performers had the campfire.. But she stood up to look outside.

Zoltar hisses as the kick knocks the wind some him and goes to stab the hare in the chest!

Violet rushes towards the hut and beats on the door" Snowdrop!!!" Her voice full of terror.

Milo coughs up blood and tries to weakly stand, only to fall towards Zoltar as his eyes cloud over in death mist.

Snowdrop opens the door quickly." What is it. What's the matter?"

Zoltar watched in delight as the hare died and droped him, walking towards the path, A signal to the others to follow.

Violet shivered in fear and pointed to the path. " They…..all dead...dead."

Snowdrop frowns,she then sees the wildcat and heads inside to get her twin blades. She storms back out. "Inside Violet, now"

Zoltar grins, he sends 5 beasts at the badger.Also 3 arches fire and reload and fire again.

Violet gets inside the hut quickly and locks the door.

Snowdrop beheads one beast, another she slices and 4 the 6 arrows hit her in the chest and upper arm,she still comes.

Zoltar watches and smirks,he has arches fire again. A fox stabs. A stoat slices ar the badger.

Snowdrop feels an arrow enter her knee and a other in the same knee as she stumbles but not before slaying two of the vermin. She charges towards Zoltar.

Zoltar grins and barely sidesteps. He blocks a blade.He moves to the side,a slice down at o e of her paws," Stripedog!!"

Violet watches outa window and frowns.

Snowdrop gets Alice to the cheek. She tells in pain as her right paw is cut off, a couple gasps of shock.

Zoltar grins and smiles . A move of his tail and 20 attack the badger at once

Snowdrop wounds get worse ut she fights back and before she gives in to seet exhaustion...7 lay dead as she falls onto her side.

A scream from the hut " Noo!"

Zoltar rolls the badger onto her back.He looks into her eyes as he slices a cross her throat." Sleep……"

Snowdrop gurgles and then life leaves her.

Zoltar smiles and looks at the hut." Burn the hurt to the ground!" He smirks as he makes sure the hut burns and that the haremaid dies. He gets the twin blades from the dead badger "Nice. "

The dawn brings a sad sight, A hut is a smoldering pile of wood and it has started to snow a little to cool the fire to nothing soon. The meadow based burn marks,bits of torn tents,There is dead beasts...a wagon and cart totally torn up...chaos a d death are here.

The badger lays dead near the hut, no onesurived the ambush.

Zoltar lost only 7 beasts,mostly to the badger.He smiles " That was fun . Let us relax a couple weeks, then we start my goal . I am Zoltar. " He smiles" Be ready"
