Krisha decided to let the dibbuns have a shorted class today and have more play time, it was still warm weather. The warm weather would slowly turn to cold weather over the next few weeks.   

Ciana was not haveing a good day, first she punched a fellow dibbun who is now chaseing her outside. Her footpaw finds a small hole in the open ground and she falls forward with a wail.This makes the one chaseing her catch up,it's a squirrel dibbun as they go to pull her ear,she wails.."Stop!!!!!!"
   

Elbio walked along the grounds of the abbey in deep thought, the Long Patrol was set to leave in a day or two and he was going with them.He is taken from his thoughts at the scream and fnding the scorce he frowns and quickens his pace to try and stop the fight.
   
Krisha sighs and walks over, likely getting there before the hare as she goes to grab the squirrel in one paw and the hare dibbun in the other"And why are you fight? No fighting in the abbey,now explain to me what started this?"   

Ciana wails as the squirrel dibbun kicks her,so she bites the squirrel and then both are lifted off the ground as she frowns,"He took pictur and rip it.....it was picture of daddy"..."Crybaby cry baby" replies the squirrel as they laugh.
   
Elbio walks up slowly but will let the badger handle this as that is likely best.He waits till the argueing is over.   

Krisha looks between them and snorts "You both will help the Friar wash and dry dishes, and then your gonna sweep Cavern Hole" She will make sure they are not too close to one another."Is that understood?"   

Ciana frowns, she then catches sight of Elbio and smiels a little"Elbio...." The squirrel pounts and then he seems to decide"Fine..."   

Elbio waves and offers a smile but it isn't a large smile as he walks over "Do get along lass with others, very important. I was...lookin' fer ya, I have...something to say if I may"   

Krisha looks over at the hare, a nod hello as she sits the two dibbuns down"Donner...go on to wash dishes. Ciana you will sweep but first let's see what Elbio needs"   

Donnner mutters but he heads off, Ciana stays where she is and then goes to hug Elbio and smiles "I tried make you picture but it gonna messed up, sorry"   

Elbio returns the hug and smiles "Yeah, I am sure tis nice and ya can make a new one lass." He frowns now "I...was just letting ya know his Lordship is heading off ,and so is de patrol in a couple days and umm...I am goin' with em lass but I will be back the first couple weeks of Spring"

Krisha sighs as the squirrel heads off and glaces over at Elbio"I heard your heading off soon,I will make sure Ciana is well taken care of,not to worry he will be fine here and safe"   

Ciana looks as if her world was suddenly shattered as she stares at Elbio and then sniffs and starts to cry "No no no!!!!! No goes away no...you will be just like dada and no come back ever ever, you said you wannted be new daddy,but you leaving...you is mean!!!I no like you no more!!!" She then bolts and the only thing that stops her, literally is she runs into a rather large leg and is knocked backwards starting to cry.Looking down at her is Lord Ciocan himself,a frown on his face.   

Elbio reaches out to the small hare "Wait..."Then the Badhger Lord is here and he quickly sulates "Sur!"
   
Krisha gasps and goes to walk forward to check on Ciana" Ciana? Are you alright?"   

Ciana is a little dazed and shakes her head to clear it, she looks up..up..up at Ciocan and frowns,she sniffs and curls into a sobbing ball on the open ground.   

Ciocan is uncertain of how to calm the wailing dibbun and looks over at Elibo "At ease"He frowns "Wot is going on here?"
   
Elbio replies after relaxing "I was...letting her know I would be going with you but also that I would be back in the spring. I ..."He edges close "I speak de truth lass I will be back in de Spring, Long Patrol honor I will be"   

Krisha will gently pick up Ciana and rock her some making shhhing noises to try and calm her, she looks at them both and speaks "She...lost her birth father,he was tricked into working for teh slavers...his name was Jet. Jet was here a couple weeks. It seems the slavers had Ciana and my guess is promised they would release his daughter to him if he helped them, but they killed him instead and kept Ciana....Matilda and Xander both mentioned it."
   
Ciana lets herself be picked up and just sobs and sobs and soon sniffs and looks back and forth at all of them,"No wanna lose new daddy, no....he go and no come back evers gain...."
   
Ciocan kneels down in front of Ciana and Krisha, trying his best to get more level with the dibbun hare"Little one...I am sorry wot happen to your birth father...yes Elbio is coming with me and I promise I will do my best to keep him safe and make sure he has someone to come along with him back in the spring."
   
Elbio nods "I will have de ...well not whole patrol but all de hares that came and think a couple others and likely 1 0r 2 ta escort me back here"   

Krisha stays quiet and lets Ciana decide weather she will listen or not,if the dibbun wants down she will put her down.   

Ciana frowns and seems to ant down but reaches for Ciocan, who after a uncertain morment holds Ciana as the small hare speaks "You takes care my new daddy...k?"She smiles a little, as does Ciocan "I will" He places her down slowly and the hare dibbun looks at Krisha for permission to go inside.   

Elbio watches quietly as he doesn't wish to distrube the talking. He will have to maybe do something with the little hare before he leaves, what though he is not certain but something fun.   

Krisha nods "Go on, you still need to sweep, and you can help with dusting"Yes keep her and Donner seprated as she will have the squirrel wash and dry dishes and do some mopping in another room.   

Ciana nods, before the dibbun goes inside she goes to hug Elbio, Krisha and finally Ciocan and then goes inside.   

Ciocan smiles at the hug and watches the small hare head inside.He chuckles as he looks over at Krisha "You have a talent for the dibbuns, handing wot...37 of them at once?"

Elbio chuckles, hugs the dibbun hare and smiles "Seems all is well sur, shouldnt be issues on the way back , I hope not anyways"   

Krisha smiles "I suppose I do and yes 37 dibbuns here at the abbey, and there is Oz and Xavier as well, the 5 otter dibbuns are on thier way to Camp Willow with Skipper and his otters to live"   

Ciocan nods "They should do well there" He nods to Elbio"We leabve in a couple days now excuse me I need to speak to a couple beasts and make sure all are ready by then"
   
Elbio nods, he sulutes and then relaxes again"I will likely have a little training before I return and take up position of Redwall Residential LP Hare. Work out just how ta get messeages going and such suppose.He then himself decides he should go on inside.   

Krisha nods, she looks back to the other dibbuns whom are still playing and behaving.She almost panics when she thinks a mouse is missing but they giggle and appear from under a leaf pile. The Badger Mother heads back over to the dibbuns and lets them play till its about dinner time, then makes sure they clean up,eat dinner and get to bed.
