Stories And Pies by the Firepit

Log-A-Log was here at the firepit, he had got some things from his camp and brought it back here. The items he was making were small little pies. kind of like the size of a muffin but it was pies. and some were cherry and some were peach, he and his son, and one other shrew as he has to have least 1 at the camp to keep an eye on things.   

Krisha wandered over in hopes of getting alone time and frowns when she sees the shrews but doesn't walk off right off.   

Xavier catches sight of the badger and giggles as he waddles over, he is good at walking now, not so good at running as he trips once and gets back up and gets to the badger and hugs her leg,smieling at her "Hi hi hi hi....daddy make yummies...hehehehh"
   
Gorvenalus, for now in the orchards but does notice a small gathering at the fire pit and starts to make his way over that direction.   

Krisha looks down at the dibbun shrew and its likely the only reason she decides to sit down and manages a small smile. She doesn't have her writing pad with her so she has no plans to really do much as she has yet to say a word in the past few weeks.
   
Log-A-Log offers a smile "Oh Badger Mother Krisha ello, do sit we have little pies of cherry and peach, they are very good , not to worry its from the GUOSIM camp"
   
Xavier is right away getting into Krisha's lap and smiles at her, he been at the camp most of the time but since his father feels the abbey is safe again,he is back here.   

Gorvenalus smiles as he gets closer "Oh hello all?"He nods to Krisha as he stands beside her"Greetings Krisha"   

Krisha nods,she doesn't seem worried really.A lot of time has been spent in her room, she has had a lot of pictures to look at that have been made by Graceie the Gooose dibbun for her.For the longest time she was the only dibbun under the badger's care.....well sort of under her care,she has slowly started to be near her more yet not speaking to her, or anyone yet.   

Log-A-Log hmmms softly and shrugs as he gives out his small little pies, one each for everyone it seems as he smiles"Pie is good yes?"
   
Xavier is a bit messy with his pie, he likely gets half on himself and half of the pie inside his mouth.   

Gorvenalus pats the badger on the shoulder as he sits beside her and nods his thanks for the pie"Pie is nice, as well as time with friends"   

Krisha quietly eats her pie just trying to relax,trying to have less stress   

Log-A-Log decides to get some chatting going "So how is everyone, prehaps a story would be nice to have, yes?" He tries to think on one"I know a good tale of a brave shrew long a ago"   

Gorvenalus says, "a story could be nice"   

Krisha shrugs, seems she doesnt care if he tells a story or not.She does let the dibbun stay in her lap through.

Log-A-Log tells a couple stories over the next 3 hours to the point where his son has fallen asleep and a couple other beasts have come and gone.   

Krisha frowns as one of the beasts that left is the recorder, she stands and gently goes to hand Xavier over to Log-A-Log.She is not sure why she stayed as long as she did, likely to not wake the dibbun.   

Log-A-Log blinks and reaches out "Wait Mother Krisha...you can stay yes? We can chat maybe...I know you have been feeling rather down and tis is the understanding of things yes, or...I mean it effects you the most of all beasts here seeing as the dibbuns and Xander is also not here and no one knows where they are...or if are live or not. But is not being your fault on all this"   

Krisha feels tears go down her face now and slowly turns back to look at the shrew with a frown, she actually speaks a couple words "Sister....Ginnny...." No need to say any other words, for now anyways ,she coughs slightly as hurts to speak, one sadness and two not used her voice in a few weeks hardly at alll and the last 3 weeks been...mute.

Log-A-Log hears and replies "Not ya fault either...." He lays Xavier down and walks closer to the badger. "And not knowing others fate we are not knowing....and if fate seems to end up as the worse, they would not want us to be sad, we must move on."He now frowns "When my mate died...you helped me to...move on.I am not saying they are...dead, I am very much hoping the dibbuns and xander and the ones who went also to find the dibbuns all return one day...there is a story of...Mathis..he went after slavers who took young ones also, he also was gone a season at least....they about gave up hope at de abbey but then, he returned and yes in this case has been season and a half now."   

Krisha frowns and sits down slowly where she is as tears go down her face, she wipes them away and takes a couple deep breaths.   

Log-A-Log edges a little closer to the badger and reaches out a paw to lay on her shoulder,not being sure what to do he simpley asks "You want to go be finding Abbot Benar?"   

Krisha nods, she will allow him to lead her to where ever Benar is,even if its just to have some tea with the Abbot and quietly sit together

Log-a-log leads the way slowly, he will then get his son and head to bed as it is getting rather late into the evening.
