Leaf Water And Hiccups -LP LOG

Who:

Zolomon-Archer,Runner,Sargeant in Long Patrol

Keifer-Blind Healer,Private in Long Patrol

Xander- Retired Warrior and tea maker

LOG:

Keifer was sitting at a table alone, and he had a problem...that problem, hic-ups, he mutters and has tried to drink water,hold his breath and he thought it was gone and of course hic-ups and mutters loudly.   

Zolomon has stayed by the doorway watching the hare quietly, a small grin forms on his face as he slowly tip toes over to him.   

Xander was quietly eating dinner and looks up, he arches an eyebrow at Zolomon but for now says nothing.He sips some tea and frowns, he does eat the soup and roll though and has some water.
   
Keifer hiccups again and folds his arms over his chest "I..-Hiccup- hate this so-Hiccup- very much"
   
Zolomon gives Xander a shhhhhh motion and then lays a paw on Keifer's shoulder and waits for a reaction, he somehow holds in the urge to laugh.   

Xander frowns, he shakes his head and sighs and just eats his soup and roll, he nibbles some sald as well"Wot kinds tea is in your kitchens, cause this tea is....gross..leaf water basically"   

Keifer starts to reply and then tenses up and screams standing and almost falling sideways "Wot the...."Hey he no longer has hicups!   

Zolomon smiles and catches him, fixes the chair "Thar Keifer, cured ya...and isn't tea like....leaf water?"   

Xander frowns, "No it's...that's horrible to say and alos horrible to sneak up on a beast even if is some odd cure for hiccups...anyways I need to teach the hares here how to make good tea not....this stuff"   

Keifer slaps at Zolomon and grumbles, "Wot ever....tea?Ummm Green...black tea maybe, thar is a hare that makes somewhat good tea but he is with de others on de ship trip"
   
Zolomon frowns "Sorry Kiefer and....I can get de tea Xandy....Ummm what else, or just tea and maybe honey,or sugar...creame?"
   
Xander nods "Also any fruits, and some mint...also cucumber yes....strawberry, cucumber,mint...green tea and a little honey.....that be great but also some blackberry juice with black tea and a little...oh honey and .....just bring me the stuff...ok"   

Keifer tilts his head at Zolomon"Well go..I know my ay around de infirm not the kitchens"   

Zolomon nods and finds the mentioned stuff, even a little lemon juice if its needed"Here Xandy...this good?"   

Xander smiles and gets to work, least he can do this sitting down and after about an hour has some cucumber mint tea, some strawberry leamon tea, and some blackberry honey sage tea, he smiles"This is tea, I can give the cooks the recipes...bet they make mint tea if not they should not just plain green or black tea, any white tea...I could make something with it I bet"He smiles "Or you could get some?"   

Keifer shrugs "Maybe.....well we have green, black, and those teas....no white tea and yeah they do have mint tea too here."   

Zolomon speaks "i can get a couple teas in Halyard...well in de morning and get back in time fer lunch"   

Xander smiles "Good...oh and try the 3 teas I did make" Yes he is in a good mood, this is cheering him up as he had been a bit down.
   
Keifer sips the cucumber mint and shrugs, the blackberry he dislikes but he seems to like the strawberry lemon flavored tea, interesting""Nice..."   

Xander  says, "My uncles taught me and I fiddled around and figured out more flavors of tea, they had thier own rescipes as well but I...made a couple better and added like, well...some of my own flavors.Teas are fun to make, and you can make a lot of flavors, I think Uncle zee showed you some, didn't he Zolomon"
   
Zolomon nods"Yes...gramps as caled him, and Oz showed me too...ya know as in badgermom Oz...."   

Keifer just listens as they , basically yap away an stands up "I am goin' to bed....so yap away just not near me"He is still grumpy at being scared out of hicups.   

Zolomon smiles "So...maybe we can invet a new tea tagether Xandy...wot say?"   

Xander watches as Keifer leaves and looks at Zolomon and smiles "Sounds fun...sides curious as to wot you can make"   

Zolomon chuckles, "Well let me show ya..."   

The two friends stayed up most of the night to make a new flavor of tea , chated of this and that has happen in thier lives and basicaly had fun, even if they only likely got...wot an hour worth of sleep?
