Very Short Chat-Redwall Log

LOG:

Elbio was sitting in a chair in the Great Hall with his foot paw on a stool, it looked less swollen now as he was resting some.   

Krisha again had been in her room, she ventured out to get a late dinner and sat down in her chair. She glanced over at the hare and frowned before starting to eat some soup and a couple rolls, she also had some salad and pie, with some mint tea to drink.   

Elbio noticed the badger and noded a hallo "Hallo ta ya lass, I see your back, that's good"   

Krisha speaks after eating and sips her tea "You...put Benar in danger...I didn't want to come back, I came back for Benar...any other beast I would of told to go away."She finishes her tea.   

Elbio ears flatten"Me?...He jolly well was gonna put himself in danger wot....all walking towards the door with poor me here with an injury, jolly well rude ya know....told old Loggy thing to help, not my falut him and like 2 shrews went and only Log-A-log was with ya on de way back...wasn't my jolly well plan"   

Krisha frowns"Benar was gonna....walk to Ferravale alone?"   

Elbio ears stay flatten "Yeah...well he was but luckily he didn't, but yeh he could of....your important lass, prooves he cares...be lucky I didn't tell him ya and me almost bally well died."   

Krisha frown as she listens, she looks at her tightly bandaged wrist, likely Angela looked it over and the badger's arm was in a sling now, not the hare's tunic made into one..."He'll...probably find out, he didn't ask why my paw was bandaged...look I am..sorry, why did you follow me..someone tell you to?"   

Elbio shakes his head "No....was just...curious, you been in ya room and then seemed first chance get your slipping out, but why Ferravale? Tis a vermin place..."   

Krisha frowns, luckily no one else was in the Great Hall, she speaks "We have a peace treaty with them...they are friends and my father"She looks down at her empty mug "Had a shop there....someone else runs it now...didn't ask who but trust the chieftains choice"   

Elbio listens as his ears perk now"I..heard some of a peace treaty.."Ok he should learn more he decides, in fact he wanted to learn a lot of the abbey he was starting to enjoy it and make friends, he didn't really stick around the other hares, he still saluted when needed bt then would go off on his own, he was allowed to not that things were a lot calmer,"Why a shop in..ummm Ferravale, I mean usually...a badger in Ferravale?"   

Krisha says, "My father was a monitor lizard...named Ferro, he died in the winter cause he got ill being...in the cold weather a couple days, didnt tell me his shop forge was broken, I fixed it for him.He walked here...in cold weather and got very ill...died, cold affects lizards a lot worse than...well us beasts with fur. Its a long story.."She didn't really seem like sharing, maybe another day but for sure not today."

Elbio starts to ask but just closes his mouth and folds his paws in his lap"Oh"Was all he gor out but he was not gonna bug her into a story, he only watched her a moment before he spoke "I am sure he...would be glad you were safe and back home as well, a lot of beasts are...I seen when you arrived."   

Krisha nods, she had managed to smile some, glad she was welcomed back but also didn't stay and chat long, only said she was tired from her walk and needed to rest.It seemed the abbot made sure now one bothered her, she was glad of this.    "Goodnight" She gets up and heads to bed, any talking was over, sorry but she is needing to be alone..in her room, she would likely have breakfast in her room.
