And NOw Beasts Are Missing!-Guosim /Camp Willow LOg

Spoofs of a couple shrews and  the Pike!

LOG:

The pike was in the River Moss...right now under the river unseen and targets its victim, the shrew with the wounded leg is gonna get grabbed, unless they move and fast.
   

Lyra frowns, she gasps as something touches her footpaws and she kicks widely at what ever it is and starts to panic a little now, well the calm clearly wasn't gonna last!   

Vilfred notes the panic and keeps a good grip on the shrew maid, the other paw has a dagger he uses to stab down at the pike and goes to try and get to shore but the current is washing him down river and its hard to swim trying to make sure another gets to shore, "Hold...on....to me lass" He needs both paws for this.The dagger he could care less about as it clearly hit the pike and angered it!   

Berwin spins around when a lot of splashing is heard "Ohhh...not goood...wait...tis away from them if ya get a clear shot fire at the bloody pike!"
   
Aqua is further down river, enjoying some swimming, finally and even speed ahead of the boats, she was enjoying the freedom of the water, the feel of the rush of the river, and didn't think to look for dangers, what danger is usually in the river?   

Deniz had been enjoying the trip, trees of different kinds, he even jumped in to swim some and it was found he could swim fairly fast, it took a little getting use to as this is fresh water and the sea is salt water, but...he still was learning to love it!   

Lyra frowns and holds onto him best she can, her injured footpaw hurts a lot more and she is near passing out again, her grip loosens some and she looks ready to pass out. a brief try and stay above water and she sinks.   

The pike takes quick notice and splashes around wildly as the dagger is in its snout and its bleeding now, he dives into the river and tries to make one of those swirling whirl pools of water around the shrews, this pike is getting its dinner one way or another.   

Vilfred gasps as Lyra sinks and dives back in, the pike causes some undertow as he holds his breath and fights this whirl pool and the fact the current goes down strream now, lets just add a summer storm forming for the heck of it! He wildly looks around scanning the waters while his lungs scream to breath, finds Lyra and quickly grabs her paw to go to the surface again and hopefully avoid the pike!   

Berwin looks ready to rip his fur out or someone's fur out as he watches, a shrew fires off an arrow that gets the Pike's tail and there is a lot of splashing and then still water as panic comes to his eyes, he looks to the other two shrews and the water and just so much emotions here he can't speak but he will not, that's WILL NOT believe anyone just died.   

Aqua surfaces and looks around, a frown ok she is a little further away than she thought from the ships and shrugs, "Well....didn't mean ta do...that"She frowns, least she left her infant daughter with one of the other otters.
   
Deniz is close by, not to worry! He goes to grin and try to trickle the otter maids footpaw from under the water.   

Lyra meanwhile is saved, once again but is not showing any signs of waking, its hard to tell if she has signs of breathing but at least she isn't under the water now.   

Vilfred quickly looks around and finds a bit of the floating raft and swims to it and gets the shrew maid aboard the ...what half a raft now? And then gets himself aboard and starts rubbing her back "Come on lass...come on now..don't say I failed"
   
Meanwhile the pike has...followed them, that half a raft is in serious danger of being bits of wood soon, then the pike notices a later target...the otters!
   
Berwin drops down and just sits on the shore, the other two shrews look at him and frown"So..now what?"

A deep breath and out, in and out as he stands up slowly" Ok....no one ..panic, Log-A-Log is simply just...missing till further notice"
   
Aqua tenses up and dives back under to...glare at Deniz and then her eyes widen as she sees something behind him and quickly points up and surfaces.   

Deniz snorts and bubbles, he tilts his head like why up and just the panic she shows he frowns and surfaces "Like...wot tis wrong Aqua?"   

Lyra coughs and gasps, she is ok but shivers now from blood loss and just from so much going on in one day from relaxing to ...well nightmare, its a good thing...well for them. that the pike is intrested in otters now, not so good for the otters!   

The pike shows it self now, yep still here and seems to fancy going after otters now!   

Vilfred looks around and starts to use a folating tree limb as a pattle to get to shore muttering to himself, once to shore he goes to get Lyra off the broken raft and lies down to catch his breath, ok Pikes are scary things, he frowns as he scans the area and has no clue where he is.He checks on Lyra.   

Aqua starts to grab his arm and swim to shore "There is a Pike in the river!!"   

Deniz frowns "Wots a blooming...."And then he is knocked sideways and his eyes widen, oh that's a pike as he screams and races to the shore as fast as he can, no way he is staying in the river with something that has teeth.   

Berwin paces as he thinks, one shrew just frowns

"What do we do Berwin?"

The other nods "Yes...we need to get back, it is already dusk out"   

Lyra is alive, but her foorpaw is badly injured and she might have a broken arm, its unclear but she is alive and breathing is semi norml as she coughs up more river water and shivers.   

Vilfred frowns as he looks for some firewood and digs in his pouches on his belt and smiles, flint and stone..good. After some firewood is found he makes a small campfire, not too close to the river , or so close it will burn them but close enough it will dry them from the river water they are soaked in.   

Aqua frowns and gasps as the pike barely misses her and looks back to Denziz "Come on...we need to get to shore...."She blinks, is that someone else in the river or wait on the shore as she gets the rest of the way to shore and doesn't bother shaking her self dry, she quickly goes to the shrews "Hey you two alright?"   

The pike circles where the otter maid was and tries to lunge at the last otter in the river!   

Deniz kicks at the pike and his eyes widen as he is blocked from going to shore, he backs up and as he is snapped at he full on punches the Pike in the face! He chuckles and quickly gets to shire and kisses the ground and smiles "I love de land....I do, I do....hee hee..I punched a pike!...I..."It seems to dawn on him just what he did "I..punched..."He faints out of shock, he was a blooming idiot, a lucky blooming idiot!
   
Berwin frowns "I know it is getting dark now"

"No ya dont"

"Yes he just said he did!"

"So what!"

The two shrews start to slap one another and roll around on the ground till Berwin threw pebbles at them and they stop, and frown looking at the ground.   

Vilfred looks up and speaks "I am being ok...she is needing healer and quickly" He points to the shrew maid and frowns, he looks over at the river and the unknown shore "How far down river are we?"   

Aqua checks Lyra as she speaks "Ummm....sea is like a day and a half....camp willow is a half a day up river...."She looks at Deniz and frowns, yeah he should be fine she has the shrew maid to tend to as she checks her over and frowns .   

Deniz is just gonna be a little...passed out for now, he is fine:P   

The pike meanwhile is one very peeved off pike as it goes close to the shore, then dives under the water looking for fish, for now.   

Lyra footpaw is very badly hurt and likely broken, as is her right arm. She lost a fair amount of blood and is shivering a little as she is somewhat cold from being in the river.   

Vilfred frowns "I need to get back to my shrews, they will worry..."He lets her tend to Lyra and his interest perks "Camp..willow? Would not happen to be otters of de camp would ya...need ta talk to the skipper as soon as possible"   

Berwin is meanwhile a lot further up river and sighs as he looks to the two shrews and to the river and frowns "Come on we...we need ta get back ta camp and hope Log-A-LOg is ok.."Yep right now he is seen as missing but they cant go look for him in the dark, they can only hope...Berwin leads the other two shrews back to camp with news of the missing Log-a-lOG....WHAT FUN NEWS....NOT!   

   
Deniz growns as he wakes and sits up, "I had this...odd dream, so real....I punched something called a pike in de jaw and almost died" He looks around "Why are we on the shore and not the boat?"   

Lyra sadly wont wake up anytime too soon.
   
Aqua frowns "Get the campfire going better Deniz and ya didn't dream it, you...really punched a pike in the jaw like a moron, but hey you saved lives" She bandages the shrew maid's footpaw with what she has with her and sighs "And we were swimming a little too far ahead of the others and the boat.." She frowns and looks at the shrews "Yes I am Aqua and this is Denzi of Camp Willow and Skipper and the others are down river not too far away"She frowns as hopefully none of them are swimming right now or if they are hopefully the pike is not near them, but its in the river still she knows and dislikes it being there."Who...are you?"

Vilfred sits quietly and speaks "Log-A-Log...I went into water to save her and we get washed downstream in current after that storm passed by"   

Deniz frowns "I ...did...oh yeah course firewood" He gets some and gets the campfire going "So...now what?"   

Lyra wakes slightly but is still very much out of it but should be ok with some rest and she is not shivering now at least.   

Aqua speaks "Of the Guosim?" She looks to the shrew maid "And she should recover....injury to the footpaw will needs kept an eye on and a broken foot, slight broken arm maybe..could of been a lot worse most likely, she can rest here...we all can and soon Skipper and the other otters will be past and we can for sure mention the Pike"   

Vilfred nods as he stands and sighs "Yes very good, can wait suppose and then will need to get back to my shrews"   

Deniz sits on a tree log thats fallen and yawns "They likely docked down river, heck we likely are missing now."   

Aqua says, "Not much we can do about it now Denzi...or getting you back either Log-A-LOg..things will be ok come morning or...by lunch I hope, your see"
   
Vilfred sighs as he just decides to get comfortable and get some sleep, he stays beside Lyra, makes sure his raspier is on his belt and lets himself drift off to sleep after a few moments
   
Deniz sighs "So...we just wait huh?"   

Aqua watchs the shrews and nods, she fornws "Yeah....wait"She hugs her feet to her chest as she sits there clearly worried about something.   

Deniz seems unsure but sits beside her "You...ok Aqua? If your scared...ummm...well your not alone, I am here fer ya and I am a friend, right?"   

Aqua smiles fainly "I suppose you are, just worried about Melody...that's what I named my daughter...I trust the others to keep an eye on her its just ...I worry and I hate worrying the others. wouldn't be surprised to see Skipper show up sometime soon, there is also the Pike to worry on and we have two Gousin shrews that are...well missing and one is their leader so yeah a lot on my mind but I am glad your here with me still, company is good"   

Deniz smiles, he stays close "I can...be on watch, you get some sleep...kay?"   

Aqua is unsure and then nods as she lays down to sleep, for some reason she feels safe, maybe stilll worried about some things but still her worry is a little less now.   

Deniz gets a dry cloak and lays it over her and makes sure the fire is going well before sitting back down beside her, a glace at the sleeping shrews and he takes first watch, maybe even 2nd watch......
