Busy Day At Camp-Guosim Log!

Some spoofs of shrews, couple otters, couple squirrels and a couple moles

Where: Guosim Camp!

LOG:

Vilfred was holding a clipboard and marking things off making sure all was well and in order, he stoped one dhrew "We have enough wood to make the huts?"

The shrew nodeed "Yes Log-A-Log and for now also tents to sleep in till small huts are made, huts will have one room, not much is needed just a place to relax and sleep as we have a dinning hall...well soon"

Leigh steps over "Also a good place for an infirmary, hoping no one needs it any time soon but it is getting well stocked with healing herbs and bandages, we also have 2-3 cots for it."

Vilfred nods "Yes , yes very good.We should be all set by the time winter comes, we will have a storage area made and it seems we have help in building thanks to Mossflower Defenders"

Xander smiles "You and your shrews did..well save my life, if you hadn't found me, well I likely be dead now."He nods "So I got a couple otters and a couple squirrels from my small group to help...also a couple moles from the abbey are tagging along too"

A couple shrews nod and seem pleased with this, all help is always good when one has a deadline of building some small huts and a couple buildings for a dinning area. healer area and maybe one other area besides storage.

Leigh looks over a list she has "I am gonna go hunt herbs, then come back and dry them, place in the jars we got from the abbey and have them ready for the infirm."

Vilfred smiles "I am glad we could help Xander, you helped us as well by slaying that wolverine, the wolverine had caused much sorrow and pain, many problems indeed."

The two otters and  squirrels set to work to help build with the moles making sure all is done well and made safe.

Xander nods "Yeah...I did slay it. it could of killed me but lucky it didn't kill me..thought I do something other than always paroling for trouble"

Vilfred hmms "Patrols are good, always good to do, but yes so is this so we are ready not just for winter but to help also defend Mossflower and Redwall"

Leigh slips off to go get some healing herbs, she wont be gone too long as  most are long the river, or in the woods, and some she already got in the meadow.

Xander nods "I know but...well I do have Silverings and another bird helping to Patrol and even Ferro, a monitor on the good side is helping, not to worry he only eats vegtables, no meats....he also likes fruits and bread..."

Vilfred chuckles "I will have to meet this lizard, but for now...back to work ya all!!" He has a camp to get organized after all!

==Few Hours later===

Berwin walks up to the camp and looks around "Is..Log-A-Log around to...talk?"

Vilfred waves "I am Log-A-LOg wot is it you are needing, I am always happy to see new shrews"

Berwin smiles "Well I like to join up...I can cook some good shrew bread and soups, rolls, casseroles, pies,cakes,tea....a lot. I..use to help cook at the abbey and decided to offer my talents here..I am not as good as the Friar is but..BUT I still cook very well"

Vilfred smiles "Ya had me at knowing how to make Redwall food..ya can of course stay!"

The Log-A-Log leads the new cook to where the Mess Hall is and shows him around, chatting and soom shows him to the other shrews..tonight the shrews would chat and laugh at jokes told around a small camp fire as they drink some ale and eat shrew bread and if you have not tasted it yet well ya better hurry, it goes fast!
