Patch is Having A bad Day....

== Patch day was already bad, then got worse when he starts talking to Xander==

who:

Patch-Tavern Worker, spy, ale maker

Xander-Leader of Mossflower Defenders and Owner of Redthorn Taavern

LOG:

Patch decided to go check on his friend and walks in slowly as he looked around and over to the cot "Stripy? Ya awake yet?"   

Xander opens his eyes, he had woken earlier and frowns "Patch...wot happen, how did I get here?" He lays paw on the right side of his face, bandaged up, glaces at the bandaged arm and shoulder, hidden is one on his leg"I feel..feel like I was in a fight with a ton of vermin or..something"   

Patch nods "Well,,,ya did like 10...or 12...not sure and ya choped de head off the cat or so I heard..I weren't thar..Vojin and Ferro was and they got ya here"   

Xander nods and "Here is?" He doesn't remember being in infirm of Ferravale, in fact he doesn't remember the fight either   

Patch rolls his eyes "Infirm in Ferravale it were closer...hey I got news, ya gonna think its neat"   

Xander frowns "Vojin...didn't he like disappear or.."He looks around and frowns "I should get back to the abbey they will worry"   

Patch says, "Well Krisha is worried but ya in no shape to go walking very far anyways Stripy"   

Xander frowns "Wot about Uncle Oz...he'll likely lecture me" Ok now he seems to not be himself as he sits up a little.   

Patch frowns and rasies an eyebrow "Umm....not unless ya mean he is gonna just walk outta the dark forest and lecture ya....yeah not wanna see no ghosts, sorry..even friendly ones"   

Xander frowns "W..Wot?" He shakes his head "Wot..how?He was fine and..stop j..joking" He looks confused, and on the verge of possible tears or maybe wanting to punch the rat, its unclear.He also has a headache so there is that.
   
Patch frowns, concerned now "Stripy..wot be de last thing ya remember?" Ok this is bad, very bad"Like...what ever or..stuff?"   

Xander frowns "I..don't know.I don't remember...."   

Patch groans, just what he needs "Ok..ya remember all the hares? Ormaz..Marek?" Please give me something he thinks.   

Xander frowns "Ormaz...."He then nods "Yeah he like died, him and Marek fell off the bell tower..I think and the long patrol..left?" He frowns "And...."He stands and just walks out, not the best plan likely.   

Patch frowns "Hey Stripy..wait..ya shoulnd't just...oh great"He quickly follow the badger.

==Outside the Infirm and Into center of town==

Xander looks around in clear surprise and frowns as he goes to sit on a bench, "I don't.....wot..happen?"
   
Patch finds the badger and walks over, he frowns now "Hey..its ok Stripy or maybe tis not..I mean...ok"He takes the chance to sit by him and talk, if allowed"I can leave but not sure ya should wander around right now"   

Xander frowns "Its...fine...."He rubs his forehead and looks at the rat, and then the town squre "I..."He frowns "I dont remember this...why? I dont even remember how I clearly got wounded..a fight yeah but where...why...with who?"   

Patch sighs and takes a deep breath "Like...a group of vermin, ya fought them, like said I werent thar but vojin and Ferro were and..well Vojin has his own, issues right now but thats another story, not ta worry he is an ally..I think"He sighs "Ok..ya fought like 10-12 vermin after ya choped de head off this feline who was like the other felines mate and peeved her off somethimg awfull, why...well they peeved you off cause they umm..."He clears his throat.."Kill your...dibbun...you do remember a dibbun...ummm Northstar think her name was...right?"   

Xander listens as Patch talks and just frowns, he nods "Yes...."He feels tears form now.."She's....dead? Where is..she..."A concerned look "Where is Krisha, she is ok right??"   

Patch nods "She's fine Stripy, at de abbey with all those...dibbuns, cause she is Badgermother now."He frowns remember the reaction ealier when he told him Oz had died."Ya uncle died in his sleep by de way like 4 weeks ago so not that long...he..didnt really fully recover from de seige thing I guess , some inside wound that didn't heal right, got worse again and....yeah"He sighs, he hates this.
   
Xander listens and just sort of stares at the ground."W..Wot else..should I know?" He is calm, barely calm right now.   

Patch stays quiet and sighs "Fine.....Hawkeye...he's dead and..."He shakes his head "Ok enough on...bad news, important stuff de tavern over thar...new one and ya de owner and I help out a lot and like run it..course you do too and I have other workers..cause..well duhhh..."   

Xander frowns and lets a sob escape and coughs a little "Just...shut up...ok shut up" He wipes away tears and stares at the rat, then looks at the tavern.   

Patch nods and is quiet, just sits there making sure he doesnt rush off, he sighs and speaks again "You...need a drink? Food...and ya really should be in de infirm still resting, you fought 10-12 vermin and got injured, ya might lose your right eye and ya clearly got ya head knocked really hard or something cause ya got memory lost but least ya know who ya are, so that's good right?"   

Xander frowns "And that's supposed to make me happy..."He mutters and shakes his head "No..headache drink make it worse and not ...not hungry."He fiddles with a necklace chain and..blinks.."Why is this on a necklace?" He shows the ring and frowns "Patch?"
   
Patch looks and then answers "Umm..I don't know..everything ok...some sort of argument and...ummm..Krisha gave that back to ya..I..I dont know, sorry Stripy not been ta the abbey in couple weeks..."   

Xander frowns more, he just stares at the ring on the necklace chain and looks at the ground, "Its....fine..."He frowns, what did he do? Wot happen? He sighs and rubs his forehead again as he sits here with Patch..a bandaged shoulder, the right side of his face is bandaged and he has one small bandage on his leg and just seems part sad, part confused and part...just worried it seems."What...happen to the..vermin group?"   

Patch sighs "They...got away....somewhere, Vojin and Ferro were more concerned with getting ya here " He hmmms "We can find Chiefy and ask, which reminds me..gotta tell her the news"   

Xander sighs as he stands "I...need to be alone....go"He heads back to the infirm, he needs sleep.

Patch sighs and watches him go, "Great just what need..more news for Chiiefy" He then goes off to talk to Blisa. hopefully it goes well.
