==Somewhere in the woods not too far from the abbey and near a clearing ===

Ewan was unsure if he really wanted to be here or not, but he also wanted to make sure things were done and correctly and that he basically knew it was done, not just assume the beasts told him the truth. So he sat close by and watched from a distance.

The two squirrels carefully drop the large cheesecloth, it was see through and could be used for this, right?Yep that good…right?

Mudjaw was curious so he just watched, he looked at the hare “So those tree climbers know what they be doing?”

Ewan shrugs “I am unsure, they might know and they may…not know, they claim they know.”

The two squirrels jump down and quickly get the cloth around the bush and under it, they look to one another and nod and then start to pull. It seems recent rains have weaken the roots and the old thorn bush comes loose and they both grin at each other and look at the….now buzzing cheese cloth, well least the wasps can’t get out but boy are they.

ANGERY!!!!!!

Mudjaw frowns “Umm..that sounds bad”

Nearby comes a voice, its Rubblethorn “Duhhhh…the silly tree beasts are fools, yeah just wrap it in cheesecloth wot is it..a new kind of cheese that buzzes?” He is not being serious as he rolls his eyes and just shakes his head,”Woodlanders”

Ewan ears flatten as gets the urge to run and quickly if need be.

One squirrel just chuckles as if it’s all under control “It’s good…see we move it and take it elsewhere, it will be great”

“Yep” says the other and they do get it a bit up the road…..course it slowly comes loose and the already weak thorn bush is more damaged and, so is the cheesecloth and…well…

The wasps seem to not like the squirrels, or anyone else that’s close to that matter. Now some of the wasps are dead, and some are clearly not and seek revenge for their friends deaths and the fact their home is ruined and they need a new one. The wasps swarm and buzz louder.

Mudjaw frowns and turns to bolt “Run away!!!!!!!!!!”

Rubblethorn gasps and quickly follows his friend down the road screaming, one wasp stings him and he slaps it dead and keeps running, he is lucky it seems.

Ewan gulps and backs off, but he should help the squirrels…now what to do, what to do?

The squirrels soon learn their mistake, a painful mistake and scream in terror, one going one way and one the other way, and leaves the mess of cheesecloth, torn up old thrornbush and dirt, some dead wasps and some very alive ones that are swamping around. Luckily neither squirrel gets a dangerous amount of stings, but enough to sure learn their lesson.

Mudjaw speeds up and only turns back once he is fairly far distance away and pants as he is outta breath.

Rubblethrorn gets beside him, two stings on his ear as he frowns at the swelling “I dislike buzzing bugs, like..ouch…a lot”

Meanwhile back at area of swarming wasps! The two squirrels have managed to get away from the wasps, one squirrel has stings on his arms and nose, another on their left leg, ear and nose. The wasps are still very very unhappy
Elbio has chosen now to walk down the path and quickly regrets it as…wasps! Well there could be worse things than wasps he supposes as he covers his head and neck and just runs forwards, and as if to make matters worse or maybe it helps, one of those sudden spring downpours happen
Ewan did get one sting on his ear tip and it hurts now and it’s swollen, he blinks as feels the rain and sighs, a sore ear and now he is soaked.

The two squirrels seem happy for the rain storm, they look at the …well tangled mess of cheese cloth, thorns and branches and some dead wasps, the other wasps have left or are on the ground sort of crawling around, still very angry but a bit less now. The wasps will later leave the area to build a new nest, far from here as to them giant fur beasts are just insane. And the two squirrels, yeah gonna need a healer now, what fun.

Elbio walks over slowly and looks at the squirrels, the mess and speaks “Why did ya go and anger wasps or bees or wot ever that was mateys? Ya insane or sumthing that be like a badger in bloodwrath..Maybe worse.”

Ewan walks over slowly after he makes sure it’s safe “They were..wasps and they claimed they could safely move the nest, least it was only a small one…could have been a large nest” He frowns as he gets more and more soaked “Redwall is close we can dry off thar and…see a healer, the healers won’t like this but good news is the wasps are gone.”

The two squirrels frown and just look at the ground, yep lesson learned. Do not mess with wasps, just leave them alone and do not move them, unless you want very painful sting.
Elbio blinks and shakes his head, ”Redwall?” He grins and the bell sounds for lunch “Meal time? Jolly well hope so, I not ate in hours and used a lot of bally energy to walk around, explorer don’t ya know…name is Elbio…let’s go chaps.”

Ewan will led the way, luckily Redwall Is just a few minutes away, he and the other hare can get lunch, sadly the two squirrels will miss lunch and whatever healer is on duty will have to deal with the two squirrels, should he feel sorry for the healers….or the two squirrels?
