Krisha- Badger Mom of Redwall Abbey

Krisha sits on one of the benches by the firepit, where she has stayed the past couple days. So far no one has bothered her or asked questions. She came back from Ferravale and learned from Vonda about Zolomon being arrested so she went to see why.She later came back with the haremaid,who seemed very upset, and basically warned others to just leave her alone,so they did. The badger Mother left long enough to give Vonda a pack of supplies and walks the hare a short distance south before coming back to sit and stay by the fire Pit, she even slept there . Least this morning she seemed in a bit of a better mood.   

Elbio slowly made his way to the firepit. His footpaw bandaged since his toe was broke,so he had a small limp and was taking it easy.This always was the first time up on his footpaws the past few days.He sits, carefully, across from the badger and speaks "Hey Mother Krisha..is it safe to ask if your alright?"   

Krisha looks at the hare and says "Seems you already are asking, and I am fine suppose.What is it you need? I can go back to dibbun duties tomorrow."   

Elbio nods"Well, that be good. soooo.."He seems unsure what to ask"Wot happen? I not been updated,not sure who blooming has. I could ask Vonda when she is back...where did she head off ta anyways and when is she back? I know her and Zolomon have that wedding of thiers soon maybe, course thar is the Autumn feast in ...wot couple weeks, maybe 3 weeks..hmmm"
   
Krisha replies "Bout 2 and a half maybe.....and there is no wedding, and I didn't ask Vonda where she was heading,she won't be back or so she said."   
Elbio blinks, "No wedding? won't be back....why wot happen? Also is Zolomon goin' with her or sumthin'"He shakes his head"then again wouldn't really miss him that much if tellin' the truth"   

Krisha takes a deep, calming breath."Zolomon is in a cell at Ferravale, first for attacking a fox in the marketplace, I was checking in on the forge here in Ferravale and heard bout it and Vonda was at the inn,so we went to get Zolomon and if able escort him back to the abbey, things got a bit...seriously..."She finds the right word.."Bad"   

Elbio listens and sighs "Let me guess, some argument with the lass and that's why she left, likely she will be back soon. I seen some females get upset...wander off a couple days to calm and then return..females be difficult ta understand at times.."He then sees to have this, maybe I should leave now look on his face and starts to stand.   

Krisha watches him and points to the bench"Sit..."She is a little grumpy now but not nearly as much as she was."And listen, someone needs to go get Zolomon and I refuse to unless Benar asks me to go, he best go too or the champion maybe." She shakes her head again, calming before speaks."Zolomon..killed Errpeal and I know this cause I saw it happen, happen really fast too before any guards could react,or even poor Errpeal and I had to go find Vonda to make sure she was ok after her witnessing it.I fear if I had stayed,I very well could of seriously harmed Zolomon,I refushed to look at him and left...I let the guards deal with him ...I...I couldn't...I just had ta leave before I ended up doing something I would of regretted."   

Elbio eyes widen as he listened.."W..wot? Errpeal..the otter seer? He was ..here and Zolomon...killed him?"He is in shock and just sits there unable to speak,he finally gets out" W..why?!"   

Krisha shrugs "I have no clue, he elbowed him into the wall, rather hard twice and then Errpeal hit the floor unmoving,Vonda...even I checked him, he was dead. I know the guards placed Zolomon back into a cell, think likely a better one now. The old otter was just talking to him, and Zolomon tells him to shut up and even though Zolomon paws are tied,he still managed to attack and demanded he be out of the cell. What he did was against the peace treaty between Ferravale and the abbey.I don't want to see that ruined...and if it comes to telling that....hare....to leave the abbey he is unwelcomed then maybe that should be done, where he goes from there I have no clue. Before this there was the possible chance of him helping with the dibbuns...now, no way,not happening..that hare is not the hare he use to be,far from it."   

Elbio ear droop and he has to calm himself as well."And ta think..He earned me trust and respet back only ta lose it again."He frowns "Who all knows of this?"   

Krisha sighs"Me and probably by now Blisa. I have yet to tell Abbot Benar, I needed to just be alone. But the abbot and champion need to know and the gatekeeper as well.I rather not have Zolomon here after...after what he did, it doesn't feel right.Where can he go? I am unsure."   

Elbio nods slowly"You are correct. Zolomon seemed to of been getting better but I guess we were wrong."A frown as a thought"Wot of the Mossflower Defenders....isn't Zolomon like co leader?"   
Krisha shakes her head "No, he just wanted to help..Caleb is leader of Mossflower Defenders...and I am advisor of it, they can seek me out for advice and such. I even have the log book, the plans of the base, a member list which I recently updated.Which is good as I should have them meet me by the firepit here."   

Elbio nods again"Sounds good. I do want ta see Mossflower Defenders still be a group that helps, defends Mossflower and still helps Ferravale and the abbey, who are the members now?"   

Krisha speaks"Caleb is leader.....we also have Lee, Dorarose,Minsc and there is a couple squirrels from the woodlands,and a couple ferrets from Ferravale. Oh and the eagle Silverwing...small group but it's always been rather small and as long as Blisa is ok with it, the base should stay in Ferravale."   

Elbio says, "Yeah...I can help get the beasts here. Anal...the sparrow could send a message"He chuckles a little"That sparrow has grown some, course thats if the queen lets her son fly that far....he is the prince after all of the Sparra and if he does go...likely be with another Sparra warrior."   

Krisha smiles a little"Any mother is protective of their child, sometimes a lot ."   
Elbio chuckles softly"Or father....Ciana keeps wanting to go off ta jion de patrol, I am unsure if I want her to or not,maybe in a couple seasons."   

Krisha stands, "Makes sense. Let her decide but yeah in a couple seasons, maybe you and her can spent a season at the mountain,let her be a recuit and if you both feel ready,let her stay there and if she decides it's not for her, she returns to Redwall with you."   

Elbio nods "That could work.No plans to go to Salamadstron any time soon.Maybe during the summer,back in time for autumn."   

Krisha nods"Yes...."The abbey bells ring"Lunch,let's head inside." She will led the way,the fire is not lit right now so it's fine to just head into the abbey for lunch.

LOG:

Elbio has decided to patrol a little upriver, this area he didn't like but they were far enough from the swamps, still the edge of the swamps was close enough.He seemed happy with the calm, the crickets chirping and headed back to camp.

Adams ruffles her feathers as she glides in overhead, landing several meters upriver from Elbio. The giant bird doesn't notice Elbio at first, her talons resting on the ground, but when she does her yellow and black eyes stare down at him, blinking once. On her right leg, just above her talon, Elbio may notice a green band, with a golden R stitched on it, and a silver acorn pendant attached to it.   

Elbio doesn't notice the bird, yet or at least right away as it is after dusk.He then sees the bird and his eyes go wide and he slowly backs up.   

Adams continues staring down at the hare, her eyes blinking again. The large bird of prey stands still as she keeps her head turned slightly, gazing at him. "Long Patrol?" she asks, breaking the silence.   
Elbio steps back another pace, his ears droop as he watches the large bird, he gulps a little "I..I.."He frowns he is not being very Patrol like right now that's for sure. He almost slips in the mud but gains his balance.A deep breath"I am Lt. Elbio Hans Reed.."   

Adams turns to face Elbio, still looking down at him. "Lt. Elbio Hans Reed," she says, speaking carefully. "My name is Adams." The eagle lowers her head as though bowing, then says something that may be surprising. "I'm from Redwall Abbey."   

Elbio shakily lays a paw on his saber and listens, he gulps slightly and looks up at her as he lets his paw drop and tries to relax."From..R..R..." He takes a deep breath, still slightly shaky and speaks"Redwall?"   

Adams lifts her head again to stare at Elbio once more. "Long ago," she says, blinking her yellow eyes again. "I served in Mossflower's defense." Adams lowers her head once more, pointing her beak to the green band around her leg.   

Elbio looks at the band "D....defence, a friend..then?" He has calmed down, some but still seems uneasy, it's clear birds are something he fears a lot.He nods, "Like..Mossflower Defenders?"
   
Adams lifts her head, ruffling her wing feathers. "Yes," she says, "but before them. I have served in the guard at Redwall, for two of their champions."   

Elbio nods slowly "Hmm..maybe ya can..join them lass."
   
Adams nods her head carefully. "Perhaps," she says, staring at him, as though thinking about something. "You fear large birds," she says. "Most do. I will not harm you. You are of Salamandastron, and therefore you are a friend."   

Elbio nods, a small frown "Y..yes...I had to fight a couple hawks before...to save baby bats.."He then looks slightly downriver where some smoke is coming from "A..A friend is good ta have..I have friends at a camp..Mother Krisha of Redwall and her two sons...also."He is unsure of a reaction "Another friend..Darian,she is a weasel but...she is good so if see her do not harm her. Also do not harm Orel,I am escorting him to Ferravale and the rest to the abbey"   
Adams looks towards the smoke of the camp. "I'm sorry that you had to experience that," she says, turning back to the hare. The eagle still doesn't move. "I have no doubt your courage and good nature with helping those weaker than yourself. That is what the Long Patrol does. I have no intentions of harming any in your party." The eagle pauses. "I'm familiar with Darian. It was her grandfather who was one of the champions of Redwall that I served with in the guard."
   
Elbio blinks "Champion?" He is curious of this and hmms"The champion now is a hedgehog, Matilda..then you likely know that..I need to return to camp."He has calmed a good deal, even feels safer knowing the eagle is here and on their side.   

Adams nods. "I will be watching out for all of you. Please give Darian my regards. Please let her know that I shall visit soon." The eagle then spreads her giant wings and leaps up from the ground, flying across the water then gaining in elevation, soon soaring high above the river and trees.   

Elbio watches her go and heads to camp, he lets the others know about Adams, before getting some rest himself, some good rest in fact tonight thanks to the eagle watching over them and likely for the rest of the trip.

Elbio Exits the mountain to head on over to Halyard, he sees Darian. "Hallo Lass"

Darian lifts her head up when she sees Elbio exiting the mountain, a smile appearing on her muzzle at the sight of the hare, but then she looks worried again. "Lt. Elbio?" she asks, seeing how he doesn't seem to be in a good mood.

Elbio frowns, he quietly escorts her towards Halyard as he speaks "Something the matter Darian?"   

Krisha had come along a little later, she made sure Oz stayed close to her, for sure in the village she had decided.   

Oz frowns,he wants to explore but knows to listen so he stays close to his mother and just looks around slightly.He had seen the dock, well right before the attack happened anyways.   

Darian looks a little sad but seems to disregard her own feelings for now. "I'm... I'm alright sir. Are you okay?" When Darian sees Krisha and Oz, she smiles. "Mother Krisha, Oz!" she calls, waving her paw.   
Elbio nods "Yeah..suppose.The mountain will...figue out how ta help Major Varus , might be a bit harder our main healer..well don't matter"Seems he rather not talk about it."We will be heading to Mossflower and de abbey today..well starting de journey to thar"   

Krisha has an idea who left but decides to not ask."Home will be good to see again, hopefully the dibbuns have...not be too troublesome"   

Oz smiles waving at the weasel and listening as they talk"See friends soon, hee hee"
   
Darian looks a little apprehensive. "I'm glad to be going back to Mossfloer sir," she says. "I don't like the way some of those hares looked at me at the mountain entrance." The weasel smiles again when she looks to Krisha and Oz. "Are you both going back to Mossflower too?"   

Elbio says, "Well, Its me, Krisha,Caleb and orel heading to Mossflower...and of course Oz"   

Krisha smiles"Yes, we are all heading to Mossflower and Redwall, likely in time for the Summer feast"   

Oz sits down since they are waiting on a couple beasts to come.   

Darian's eyes widen. "Another feast? I hope it's as good as the Spring  feast that the shrews had." Now she holds up her bag for them all to see. "I talked to Caleb about joining the defenders! And I got a healer bag from Halyard!"   

Elbio says, "Lot of stuff to learn to be a healer...I know some but all de Long patrol does know basic...Prv Donica knows a lot more and Lt..."He shakes his head "Well had a Lt that was a healer but he's gone now."

Krisha says, "There is healers at the abbey to teach you Darian..maybe Brother Gorvenalus will,he our recorder but helps as a healer when needed."

Darian frowns as she lowers her bag. "I'm sorry that a hare left, Lt. Elbio..." Darian smiles again, looking excited, her small ears perking up. "Do you think Pvt. Donica would help teach me? She doesn't hate vermin, does she?" Now she turns to Krisha, even more excited. "I know Mr. Gorvenalus!" she squeaks. "I've met him!"   
Elbio says, "She is at the mountain so not likely and...right now she isn't in de best of moods, she was engaged to get married...but de hare to which she was to marry...is de one that left, no words just turned in a uniform and left."
   
Krisha frowns about Donica but smiles""yes Brother Gorvenalusor dorarose's grandma also at the abbey can teach you healing"   

Darian's head lowers as Elbio says that, frowning. "I'm... I'm sorry," she says softly. When Krisha speaks she looks to her, and her head lifts again, and she smiles. "Oh, I've met DoraRose too, at the feast! Wow, there's a lot of beasts who can teach me! Do you both think I would make a good healer?"   

Elbio nods"If you study hard, your be a good healers yes"
   
Krisha asks, "So where do you think Caleb and orel are?It be good to get a fair distance before dark"

Darian smiles as she hugs her healer bag. "I will study! I'll study a lot!" Now she looks to Elbio, curious about that too.
   
Elbio is here, with Cale,Krisha,Oz and Darian.Having stoped in Halyard before they continue onwards and start the journey to mossflower.
   
Krisha says, "things will be find Darian, and there is already some beasts at the abbey that will be your friend and your do well on learning healing dont worry"

Orel is waiting for the group at the edge of the village, the rat is dressed in black trousers, a purple sash, green bandana and a large tricorn hat with his ears poking out of it. He also has a medium sized backpack with extra clothes and food and he raises a paw in greeting. "Hello everyone"   

Oz is just sittting down, looking bored as they wait ,he glaces over at the rat and waves a hello but stays close to the others.   

Darian looks up at Krisha and smiles, still hugging her healer bag close. "Thanks Mother Krisha," she says softly. "With everybeast's help and support, I know I'll be a good healer." When she hears Orel, the weasel turns to him and lifts up one paw, waving. "Hi Mr. Orel!" she calls out.   
Elbio nods"So, now that we have Orel, we can start the trip...need to find a decent campsite by little after dark, probably get to the river Moss in like 3 days." He smiles"Then just follow the river for a while"   

Krisha smiles, "Well I am ready and we got our supplies from the mountain."   

Orel says, "I have food and the possessions I kept," the rat swings his backpack on, "Hello miss Darian and this little one must be Oz, hello young badger," he looks at ELbio, "Well I am ready to go"   
Oz is unsure of Orel, least for now he is."H..Hi"He says quietly.He mainly stays by his mothers side.   

Darian smiles and swings the strap of her bag over her shoulder. "I'm ready too!" she says, sounding excited. "I haven't ever traveled in a group before. This is a lot better than travelling alone!"   

Elbio nods as he leads them away from the village "Yes, even Lord Ciocan always had us hares go in groups of two at the least, sometimes it wasn't liked but it was for safety issues,to stay safe ya know."   
Krisha follows the group as they head on off."Home will be nice, it could of been nice to stay longer as they are planning that memorial event at the mountain now I heard, but I have missed home and its hard to tell what the dibbuns have been up to."   

Orel walks along with the group, their tail slithering over the ground behind him, he turns and walks backwards for a bit watching the sea and sighs, "I will miss the sea, but no point waiting, lets go to Mossflower."   

Oz skips a little, he then speaks "Sea is...is big" Yes the sea is big, bigger than he likely even knows."We....go...home"He is happy.   

Darian glances over her shoulder to the ocean behind them. "You'll come back one day, Mr. Orel," she says, looking to him with a gentle smile. The weasel decides to walk close to Elbio, smiling to Oz. "I'm happy to go home to Mossflower too Oz!" Then she looks to Krisha. "I'm sure the dibbuns will be find. They couldn't have gotten into /that/ much trouble since you've been gone, right?" Oh if she only knew.   
Elbio nods"Suppose remember good times, nothing bad and yes the sea is fairly big."He smiles, some are happy at least as he leads the group along"First 3 days likely be kind of dull"He shrugs" Lot of sand...the sea...not much to really see"   

Krisha says, " Getting home will be good.....just so the dibbuns have not driven beasts too ensane while I was away."

Orel says, "I will indeed be back Darian, when I am meant to be back, but until then I am going to continue onwards, life leads me inland now."
   
Darian smiles up at Elbio. "The sea itself is really nice to look at sir. At least, I think so." Looking to Krisha she giggles. "Hopefully they haven't. If you need any help Mother Krisha, I'll be glad to lend a paw!" Then she looks to Orel, still walking along next to Elbio. "Okay Mr. Orel, but please remember you're not alone." The weasel smiles gently to him. "You will always have friends there for you."   

Elbio says, "You don't have to share much of your past with Ferravale if you wish not to Orel, but thats up to you."

Krisha says, " I will get the dibbuns back in line"She smiles" Trust me"

Orel says, "Thank you Darian and thank you everyone, it is nice to know I have some friends heading into Mossflower. I don't know anyone who lives there except you lot now. So it will be quite an adventure."

Elbio smiles "Your welcome Orel.Ferravale is not as crowded . Run by a cat named Blissa, the tavern thar is run by a rat named Patch he is..."He shrugs. Ok so he dislikes Patch a little,who doesn't?"You can even ,maybe meet some of the other abbey beasts"   

Darian nods to Orel. "I didn't have any friends in Mossflower either, but it didn't take me long to become friends with many. It's.... very nice to have friends sir. It feels like I have a family again." Darian giggles to Krisha. "Alright," she says with a nod, then she looks up at Elbio as she continues walking by his side. "Oh! Would anybeast like some fudge?" The weasel begins pulling chocolate pieces out of her bag. "I got some at Halyard!"   

Krisha smiles as she makes sure Caleb, as well as Oz stay close to her.She lets the others talk as she walks along quietly.   
Oz smiles.."We gets home...is Kelp at abbey? Wanna see Kelp again..."   

Orel says, "Thanks but I am ok Darian, I didn't stay this shape by eating sweets," he smiles, "ut thank you for the offer and Mossflower should be interesting, but I am not sure I want to visit the abbey... it ... is not a good place for Sea rats."
   
Elbio hmmms"As long as they know your good, you can visit and sometimes abbey beasts do come to Ferravale...not too often though. I been to ferravale a couple times...just to make sure it stays in a peace treaaty with the abbey and is never cause for alarm, so far...so good"
   
Darian looks to Orel. "Redwall Abbey is a good place for /every/ creature, right Lt. Elbio?" Darian looks up at the hare, then she looks toward Krisha and Oz, walking toward them. "Hey Oz, would you like some chocolate?" she asks, holding a piece out to him. "Um, that is, if it's okay with your mum!" The weasel looks to Krisha   

Krisha looks over at Darian, "Maybe later..after he eats normal food first, then maybe a sweet. And ferravale is ..its ok, the abbey is very nice and thats where I am mostly."   

Oz pouts at no sweets yet, but he will listen to his mom.He smiles at Darian and then to kRISHA "Mama...Dar..Darian say we is family,we be's family...with caleb toos.."   

Orel shakes his head, "Redwall is not for me, there are too many rats dead in and around the abbey for me to risk it. I will see and hear things I do not want to see and hear. I will go to the abbey only when and if I see the signs telling me to do so."   

Darian nods to Krisha, putting the chocolate away in her bag with a light giggle to Oz. "Your mum's right Oz, we should eat healthy first!" Then she nods to Oz. "Family," she says, "that's how I see it anyway. Like I said... it's very, very good to have friends." Now she turns to Orel, hearing him say that, and steps forward. "Mr. Orel, it's okay not to want to go there, but it's safe! Nobeast will harm you if you're good! My... My grandpa thought that same thing at first, when he first went to Redwall. But the he remained, and lived there his entire life!"   

Elbio speaks now "Orel is gonna get a home in Ferravale and live there, he doesnt have to go to the abbey if he wishes not to"He nods "I don't even have to mention I brought him along even"   

Krisha says, "Not very many vermin species live in the abbey, and not very many..even less woodlanders live in Ferravale"

Orel says, "It may be safe, but it is not for me Darian sorry, I will remain in Ferravale and the woods until I see otherwise."
   
Oz tries to do a cartwheel and fails,he frowns and just goes back to walking   

Darian listens to Elbio and Krisha, nodding slowly, lowering her head. "Okay," she says softly. Now the young weasel looks a bit unsure. "Mother Krisha? Lt. Elbio? What about me? I can still live there, even though I'm a weasel, right?"   

Elbio nods"We can speak to Abbot Benar just to be on de safe side but I don't see why not Darian, or have a room at the Defenders base....maybe some of both"   
Orel says, "Of course you can live there Darian, I could live there if I wanted to but I don't want to live there too many old memories."

Krisha smiles"You can be at the abbey Darian."She is now curious "Have you...been to the abbey before Orel?"   
Darian smiles up at Krisha, Elbio and Orel, nodding and looking as though she's happy again, now reassured. As Krisha asks this, she looks to the rat, also curious.   

Orel says, "Yes," Orel says, "Once, so many seasons ago now you would not remember, but I was there once and that was enough."

Krisha nods, she will carry Oz some if he gets tired, its been a good walk along the beach   

Darian looks to Orel with a look of concern, but decides not to ask anything further. The weasel continues walking along next to Elbio, her footpaws pressing in to the sand and her tail twitching behind her as she moves, looking deep in thought.   

Orel settles into a happy pace, walking along swiftly, bouncing along and just focussing on the journey for now.   

Elbio nods,"It is alright, I will make sure you get to Ferravale safe and sound Orel"   
Krisha sighs, the trip will be a little boring till get to the river, they walk a while more "Maybe we should find a safe camp site area soon"   

Elbio nods, he finds a place about an hour after dark and helps set up camp before sitting down to rest, he may be use to walking but the others are not.
   
Darian stays close to Elbio as they travel. When they set up camp, she sits between Elbio and Krisha. The weasel looks up to the tree tops, seeing the stars shining through the leaves down to them. "I was really afraid going to the shore alone," she says, "but now... now I'm not scared at all."   
Elbio says, "Well your with a group now, your be safer. Trip likely seemed long on ya own, won't seem as long with friends along""

Krisha says, "Travel in a group is always safer, even Xander knew that...though sometimes he did go off alone still"   

Darian nods as she curls up, hugging her knees and curling her tail around her for extra warmth. "Ms. Krisha?" she asks, sounding curious. "Did... Did Mr. Xander travel to Salamandastron a lot?"
   
Krisha replies "a couple times, once right after Oz was born...this group of vermin got in the abbey,"She frowns"A group of vermin drugged me and a couple others and the dibbuns...they took all the dibbuns but one day they came back with the Long Patrol and Ciocan...a time before that was when the Mossflower Defenders just started and the abbey and mossflower had a large horde..the mountain helped us with that too."   

Darian nods her head slowly, her head lowering once more at the same time. The weasel looks unsure again, frowning. "I'm so sorry, Ms. Krisha, and Lt. Elbio, that vermin has caused so much trouble for so long." The weasel now looks down at the ground below her.   

Elbio frowns when the horde is mentioned "Yeah, not the best time in the Patrol history...we won yes..but at a high high costs"   

Krisha look at tElbio and frowns "I..wasn't at the abbey but did hear about it."   

Darian looks up at Elbio, then at Krisha, her head staying lowered. The weasel looks extremely afraid, wanting to know more but not wanting to ask. "This.... all of this, I'm so sorry," she whimpers. "I promise, I'll become a great healer, and help make sure that doesn't happen ever again."   

Elbio sighs,"It was a large horde ran by a stoat...they took over Ferravale, they took over a lot of Mossflower, the abbey was in a siege for weeks...they got in once and about killed the former Badger mom..trust me, the few that got in that day did not get near the abbot or the dibbuns that day."He speaks again after a while."If the long patrol had not come..there likely wouldnty a redwall or ferravale now even if was many seasons ago...300 hares went with his lordship...the vermin killed, all of em...but only 19 hares..sadly surrieved, so a lot of the patrol rarely speak of it."   

Krisha nods" Xander spoke of it ...its when his friend Zolomon joined the patrol, he dislike that at first but then supported him.."She hmms "Kind of interesting now since Zolomon is sort of a 2nd in command of the Mossflower Defenders now."   

Darian curls up a little more, listening to Elbio. The weasel begins to shiver a little, and her gaze turns downward again. Darian looks very upset, but she keeps her feelings to herself. The weasel peeks up when Krisha speaks, but looks downward again.   

Elbio frowns, he sighs ok not the best thing to share "I'm..sorry lass.."He sighs when Zolomon is mentioned and speaks "Zolomon..."He frowns "He will be a good help,I mean he was a sergeant in de Patrol."   

Krisha gives Darian a gentle hug and looks at Elbio and arms crosses her chest" You and him had BEST get along Elibo Hans Reed..." Oh boy not the full name,.."I mean it too, he has been threw alot these pass couple seasons"   

Darian leans in to Krisha's hug, looking up at her and then smiling, the fear and sadness in her mind lowering at the comforting. The weasel then looks to Elbio, still smiling very gently. "You didn't do anything wrong Lt. Elbio," she says, then looks to Krisha, confused at what she says about getting along, then looks back to Elbio. "Do... Do you not get along with Zolomon?" she asks.   

Elbio looks away and shakes his head,he then speaks "I...not really..but I want to try,he did save my life.I almost didn't do this trip...thats to Zolomon...well I am alive but...a lot happen ta him after Xander died, Zolomon did some...not so great stuff and even went AWOL...he got kicked out of the Long patrol and striped of his rank,he is banished from the western shore...he.."He sighs "I am gonna talk to him when get back to the abbey, help him a bit.I know the one haremaid helped him a lot to recover and thats good"   

Krisha says, "Zolomon and Xander were best friends..Zolomon kind of...I am not sure...he is getting better and if you could help Elbio, that be good..Zolomon is a good beast, a good hare..."

Darian listens to the two, looking back and forth as they talk. "That sounds horrible," she says, keeping her voice gentle as her tail curls up around her again. "That horde took so much from so many... my brother, um..." Darian looks up at the trees again, and the stars beyond. "I know what it's like to have vermin take away from you."   

Elbio asks, "You had a brother lass? And yeah.....hordes show up off and on....I will willing be be Zolomon's...friend and forgive him for things that happen in Halyard, I know he wasn't in his right mind at the time,even tried to hunt that zoltar down himself...supposely found him, tried ta fight him and was left for dead by the wildcat....he also mentioned seeing Oz right before he blacked out , one way we knew Oz was still alive...and got other news later""   

Krisha says, "Lets not talk of the pass and Zolomon is doing better...and I met the haremaid, her name is Vonda"
   
Darian nods to Elbio, lifting her head up some more. "Yes sir," she says softly. "I had two brothers, actually." Darian smiles that gentle smile of hers. "Lt. Embio, Mother Krisha, if anybeast can help him, I know you two can."   

Elbio nods "I am willing too...I will admit before I wasn't...he was right on one thing...I did refuse to lsiten to him, others did too and...well that was wrong of me and them"   

Darian continues to smile. "I'm sure, if he knows that, and sees you're willing to listen now... I'm sure things will turn out okay. And you can help him, and you two can be friends again."

Elbio shurgs, " Not sure we were ever...friends."

The group soon finds a campsite for the night and heads onwards bright and early the next morning.
