***OOC NOTE:This ICLY  happens August 2nd but was role played out a little early as me and  another are busy later in the week, no one was on the muck to role play so we decided let's just role play a day in the  Badger Mt. Trip and I decided to just post it and show happens on 2nd...so here it is ! ********

Somewhere about a week and a half down Rivr moss towards Western Shore, Its late in the afternoon.

***ICLY HAPPENS AUGUEST 2ND *****

It had been a week since they started and thanks to some windy weather a couple times they  were ahead by a half a week, so they traveled a week and a halfs worth of days in only a week's time, very good. It was also good for Misu . As much as she liked the water travel it was rather boring”Are we there yet?” She asked the rabbit in her monotone voice.

Rupert frowned “Do try not to alarm me miss, so far we are 3...maybe 4 days ahead of time most excellent.”

Ximena walks over and groans, “I hate boats, never again..And this isn't even the sea so what do you call this..riversick instead of seasick?”

Zolomon was just relaxed “I like it..so how long Rupert old bean?”

Xander keep an eye out for trouble “No attacks or trouble so far, that's good it must mean  or hopefully mean  the horde beasts do not know we are going to get help.”

Misu just nods “I wonder how Karth is...He and Sinway were in charge till we get back right?”

Rupert glaces at the map “ 2 and a half weeks now if all goes well...yes this is very good and let's hope  no attacks happen at all I rather not deal with foul vermin on this trip. Also towards the end you need to be quiet, the swamp edge brushes along the river but we should be fine in the daylight.”

Ximena frowns “Toads?Aren't they dangerous and like...eat beasts?”

Zolomon replies “Toads don't eat beasts, they bally well make them slaves. Thar was this hare..Flint, nice chap sadly died...he was a slave to them for 3 seasons, but it backfired on them when the toads captured some high up hare types..see this Flint fellow knew his way around the swamps..hee heee saved the day”

Xander smiled, he had not smiled in weeks, he looked up at the cloudless sky smiling “We will be fine, Martin is with us clearly.”

Misu nods “Yes Martin the warrior...maybe his ghost will spook the toads”

Rupert starts to say something but decides to forget it,  I mean the ghost of Martin wasn't on the boat and if it was he could stay invisible cause this rabbit would likely have a heart attack seeing a ghost for real. “Alright so all is going good, 3-4 days ahead helps us get there sooner and hopefully that Silverwings didn't get lost.”

Ximena speaks “How could any bird get lost you see a lot from up high in the sky”

Zolomon chuckles “The eagle has a very poor sense of direction trust me lass but he should be able to go one way and then figure out once he gets to the sea when a like large mt. is.....right?”

Xander nods “Yes she should, it will be fine guys”He smiles again “We will get there and get help and head home.”

Rupert goes to get some rest after folding up a couple scrolls and maps.

Misu just nods “Long trips are boring but getting help is good”

Zolomon smiles “Its good ta see ya smile Xandy, you haven't in the past couple weeks”

“No reason too Zolomon and with everything that happen..I felt a bit lost, ok a lot lost but I feel better now, mediation is good and one thing to keep ones mind off other things, helps to clear the mind too. Should of done it sooner but then again no time really.” Xander explains.

Ximena just walks over “So you think the trip will remain problem free? I mean it has so far”

Misu speaks “Lets hope so and if vermin disturbed this peaceful boat trip I will kick them somewhere  that will hurt and they will whimper away and wish themselves dead”

Zolomon backs up and whispers to Xander “She scares me sometimes Xandy”

Xander chuckles and grins, He nods to the hare and ruffles his headfur .Least he is finally in a good mood.

Ximena just blinks and looks at the badger and hare.

Misu looks over and then rolls her eyes before looking back at the land on each side, she for one is still alert or trouble

Zolomon is too he is just relaxed, being relaxed is good

Xander chuckles and gets a small little bit of ale they have with them. “SO less than 3 weeks..this is good, very good timing. I just hope they are willing to help.”

Ximena says “Well Redwall is in danger so..yeah they most likely will come help, we may need a better boat”

Misu nods “Yes and the badger lord and the hares likely have one so..yeah”

Zolomon smiles “Lord C and his mighty hares, some will stay at the jolly mountain and some come with us, that is most surely the plan as they bally well protect the western shores from dangers and such”

Xander nods “Yes they do”

Ximena smiles “I always read stories of the Long Patrol and Badger Lords and Ladys, it will be neat to...meet one in person.”

“Lord Ciocan,  almost 9 foot tall badger.” Xander replies, “Carries a large war hammer, and a dagger but I am not sure he even uses the dagger at all.”

Zolomon grins as he chuckles “Yes! The mighty Lord C will be like hallo vermin....meet my hammer!”

Xander chuckles and nods “That will be cool.”

Ximena smiles and just listens to them

Misu clears her throat “ I have something important to say”

Xander turns and nods “Go on Misu what is it?”

Zolomon looks on very alert as he listens to the sea otter.

Ximena frowns, is there danger? Is there something else, she stays quiet and alert.

Misu yawns “I am going to sleep..all need to be quiet..”Yes quiet or face her wrath “And no one dare wake me unless we are about to die  and if we do die cause you were too late to wake me, you woke me up for no reason” And she heads off to sleep and they best be quiet too...or they indeed will feel her wrath.

Kenya- Almost of Novice Age

Where/when:
Night time real late and in the Dibbun Tree house and then on inside Abbey Building at the end

Log:

Kenya had woke up and missed dinner, she climbed into the tree house to be by herself and just sat there wrapped in a blanket stareing at the window.

Krisha decided to venture out once she didn't see the young sea otter in her bed. With a lantern she walks over to the tree house, just an idea as she slowly makes her way up and shines a light "Kenya...you in here?"

Kenya at first doesn't answer and then quietly speaks "I am here...sorry if I am worrying any beast"

Krisha almost had left and then drew closer to the young sea otter and sat down thew lantern "So...up here huh?" She smiles "I don't think the camp out is till later, not sure when yet still in the planing stage"

Kenya nods "Sounds good....and I may go, I don't know I wanted to just...be up here a little while cant sleep" She is by that picture of the two otters with the smaller otter.

Krisha sits down, she studies the picture and looks back to Kenya "Talk about it?" She offers a smile "Talking helps I heard"

Kenya shrugs and frowns "The picture, its mom and dad....and me"

Krisha nods "Its a good picture, so "She is not sure how to ask or what to say "Its ok to miss someone and to worry you know"

Kenya eyes start to fill with tears "They nevergonna come back...ever. They might be dead or something....cause bad beasts took them away and they never, never got...away or they would of came to the abbey where its safer"

Krisha frowns, she is unsure but this is her job one day as she offers a hug if Kenya wants one and only if she does "Its..."She wont say its ok as that could turn out to be a lie as she sighs "Its safe here and...I am here, Oz is here...others also and I don't know what to say about your mom and dad..I am sorry"

Kenya leans into the hug and sniffs and clings onto the badger as if  she was   a young dibbun again and just cries.

Krisha sits there quietly, normally she go find some help..maybe Benar or Oz but she feels like she should not leave right now, she just stays quiet as words escape her right now.

Kenya just cries and soon calms down and sniffs as she wipes some tears away with her sleeve "W...What gonna happen?"

Krisha is confused "What do you mean? Happen to what...to who?"

Kenya says, "To me "She says quietly "I know the gates are closed cause of bad beasts and those bad beasts have my parents..I..I remember bad beasts chasing me and trying to get me, one threw me and it hurt, there was a hare and another beast that helped me get to the abbey...and the bad beasts had flower tattoos""

Krisha listens and frowns "Like a rose?" She frowns more "And if there is slaves..I cant promise your mom and dad will be saved or even found to be saved, I know beasts are trying to save ...slaves and have prevented others from being slaves also. But even if you see your parents again or you don't you are always welcome here, this is your home Krisha and beasts here do care about you"

Kenya frowns "I want my mom and dad"

Krisha hugs the otter gently and sighs "I know..I know and I wish I knew a way to help, to get them here but I don't"

Kenya buries her face in the badger's robes and just cries a little more and stops again as she frowns "I..i know...doesn't mean I..I don't miss them"

Krisha says, "I know I...miss my parents too and I never got to meet mine, I have a father who adopted me , knew him all my life basically and he even helped...helped my mom, he was there when I was born and promised to care for me and he did and still does even though I am an adult now""

Kenya frowns "Bad beasts took them away?"

Krisha speaks quietly "Yeah...." She wont say dead "But the bad beasts later were found and killed....sadly my parents were...gone before that"

Kenya nods "They died didn't they, its ok....maybe mine are dead too or maybe they are alive and think me dead"

Krisha sighs and noded "Yeah...they died. As I said no news on yours and....guess its hard to know maybe we will find out and maybe we wont I...I will not say its ok, or we will find them and save them as that could be a lie, I WILL say beast will try and find them, and see if they live or not. They could be alive. They could be dead. They could be sold...."She frowns muttering "Soorry"

Kenya hugs her "No your honest being honest is nice"She is quiet and then "What if they...are dead or gone forever cause of...something else.Then what happens....to me?"

Krisha sits quietly and speaks "You stay here, you stay alive for them and keep happy memories of them alive. You become a novice still like you want to be and make them proud, I know they would be very proud of you"

Kenya nods,"I..I want to be a novice, I do and I am learning wood work stuff""

Krisha smiles "That sounds nice and you can learn some basic healing...I am learning some healing"

Kenya manages a smile now, a small one but its there "Knowing healing is good but how do healers handle....you know....stuff"

Krisha shrugs "I don't know really but its a good question, maybe ask one of the healers here...maybe"

Kenya nods "I...well..I don't know, maybe its not like I had much of a lessen, I wanted a healer take a splinter out of a toe and read a like basic first aid stuff , like very basic"

Krisha says, "Well some learn by watching and some by reading and maybe a little of both"

Kenya says, "Yeah and I want to learn more and help beasts and I know how to take a pulse, its easy to do that...one at the wrists and the neck and you can listen to the chest and pulse is in a couple other places as well.""

Krisha nods "Its good you know this much and yeah I can tale a pulse, though if its too weak a more skilled paw may be better"

Kenya nods and frowns "No one else is.....no one is gonna die any time soon are they?"

Krisha frowns "I...lets hope not and the abbey is safe, it is it would take a lot for the bad beasts to get in here and they be stopped before that"

Kenya frowns "Stopped by who...Redwall don't have a..a champion anymore...why didn't Martin get a new one yet?" She sounds a little sad and maybe scared.

Krisha frowns "Oh...honey I am sure Martin is working on it" She knows a little more than she is saying but hardly much to not be too concerned herself.

Kenya says, "So...soon maybe you think?"

Krisha says, "I don't know I hope so. Martin the warrior tries his best not to let anyone down and in all the stories he always has the side of good win..even if its not right away""

Kenya asks, "But why not right away for?"

Krisha says, "I...I don't know I am sorry...but try not to worry,ok...we have the Mossflower Defenders and Dorarose and a couple other guards are making sure no bad beasts gets into the abbey only friends and good beasts inside the abbey. We can get help other places maybe if its needed.""

Kenya nods "I like Dorarose she is nice and she will kick bad vermin butt"

Krisha frowns "You shouldn't say....butt then guess worse things to say and no do not say those either and yes Dorarose is very nice and I am sure she would not want you to say...certain words"

Kenya frowns "Sorry...don't tell her her or Papa Oz...or Benar that i said butt....ok?"

Krisha smiles "I wont it will be our secret...as long as you don't say it again..k?"

Kenya nods quickly and smiles "I promise Krisha..."She is still a little worried"What if bad beasts do get in?"

Krisha says, "Then...you hide ok and don't come out unless you know its safe"

Kenya thinks "How will I know if its...safe or not and would Papa Oz be with me or would I be with the dibbuns as that is where he would be right?"

Krisha says, "Yes that's my guess he would be there and if needed would do his best to keep you all safe or anyone safe""

Kenya says, "But he's......"She frowns "What.....he could....."

Krisha frowns "He is what, could what?"

Kenya says, "He's blind and old and...."Ok that sounded bad as she rethinks "I'm....sorry but, its just....he couldn't really fight could he?""

Kenya asks, "does he know how?"

Krisha says, "I don't know, he can use a staff but again...try not to worry about any one bad getting inside."

Kenya says, "But it could happen and....I think on it and re..remember in the woods and I had a nightmare couple times and it was scary...I"

Krisha says, "Nightmares are no fun but it doesn't mean they would come true Kenya"

Kenya says, "But....but they could....and then w..what"

Krisha sighs and gently hugs her "You need to be brave. Lets hope no one bad gets in but IF it happens you stay safe ok...and you wont be alone someone would be with you just if your told to hide, do so, if your told follow an adult and be quiet, do so

Kenya nods "But..I...I don't want anyone to die/ I don

Krisha says, "I wish I knew...I do"

Kenya frowns and rubs her eyes and leans on the badger again"I had a nightmare earlier and that's why I couldn't sleep. I dreamed I was taken away and made a slave and no one would help me and...it was scary"

Krisha sighs and wraps her arms around the dibbun "No one will let anyone take you away I promise...they would fight them off with their life if need be"

Kenya frowns "But...I don't want anyone to die.They...they arnt allowed to die"

Krisha says, "I am sure they would try not to.....if you want you can....sleep in me and Xander's room if you want, he is home and not going anywhere for a few days " She smiles "I am making him stay put a few days, he has some others he can sent out and keep eyes and ears open for dangers and the wall tops are patrolled now, night and day""

Kenya nods slowly "Ok...ok....that's good"

Krisha says, "So...is that a yes or no?"

Kenya sniffs and nods "But we need to get outta the tree house first....sound good?"

Krisha stands and smiles"That sounds like a good idea, lets go"

Kenya nods and heads down slowly and carefully and then waits on the badger to come down

Krisha soon comes down and smiles , she then blinks and goes back for the lantern and then is back "Ok..lets go, but first we should let at least someone know where you are so they don't think your missing"

Kenya frowns and then nods "Yeah that would be bad to think I am missing when I am clearly not missing and clearly do not want to ever be missing at all. Beasts be looking for me for nothing"

Krisha nods and leads the way, she stops a beast in a Defender robe and they chat, the mouse glaces at the otter and then nods back to the badger.

Kenya walks over "What did he say?"

Krisha says, "He said he would let them know, come along" Krisha leads the way to where her and Xander stays and smiles as she reaches in to get Northstar whom is awake and decides to get a bottle to feed her and sits down,

Kenya smiles as she walks in, "Oh...she is cute then all babies are cute...well not always not when they are mad"

The badger cub giggles but also drinks their milk and burps snuggling up to Northstar.

Krisha smiles and rocks her and lays her down as she stays quiet "Xander is asleep....lets see oh" She finds a couple blankets and nods "But I am sure he will not care for a guest..."

A novice brings in a roll away cot and then leaves, its place by the bed so the otter maid can still be close if needed.

Kenya nods and lays down as she asks quietly "Can she like..talk yet??"'

Krisha shakes her head "Not yet but she coos and she tries to say words just not there yet, soon I think"

The badger cub sleeps in a small bed quietly.

Kenya smiles and nods as she yawns and lays down and then says, "Thank you for letting me sleep in here tonight. Maybe I wont have a bad dream now......I hope"

Krisha speaks quietly "I hope you have good dreams tonight"

Kenya nods."Me...(yawn) me too"

Krisha smiles and lays down, "Good night Kenya"

Kenya smiles, "Good night.." She then lays down and gets cozy and lets her eyes drift shut and she is asleep and she does sleep a lot better, even sleeps in by a tiny little bit the next day.

******OOC NOTE this is what she is referring to when she lost her mom and dad, happens in this log, also it mentions she was maybe a couple seasons old...she was 4 seasons almost as she is almost 5 seasons now icly or..novice age

Misu enters dripping wet and goes to get a towel before sitting down to dry off"I dislike rain storms"She mutters.

Oz nods a hello"Hearing news of rain being annoying is better than other news, not the the weather will slow these troublesome vermin down"

Misu shrugs before speaking "Well maybe this so called help martin is supposed to send will come and help soon, or maybe help wont come."

Oz says, "I do not know, Martin has been a bit active lately maybe he is leading help to us. I do not know as he seems to visit others more so than me. But Benar believes Martin will show us whom will step in and led us in our hour of need"

Misu speaks "Yeah...well he should hurry up"She then sighs "Sorry..its just...never was some ghost warrior around to help save my Holt so not easy to believe some ghost mouse is leading to us a hero or whatever to wield some magic sword and save the day and all that. I mean a mouse that's been dead like..how long?"

Oz listens "Martin was around when the abbey was first built...seasons ago and he always knows whom to lead to us, how I do not know and Martins sword is not magic its just a blade most think has specal powers. My son Maxor though it held powers and the champion at the time was Flicktail I believe let him touch the sword. I asked him later did anything different happen and he said no but that it was still, what was his word..awesome or something like that"

Misu snorts, she looks at the door as she sees a novice run inside from the rain as it starts to rain harder and shakes her head "Novices should be careful..." The mouse looks at her "Why?" The otter sighs "Wet =falls=pain..duhhhhh"

Oz lets the otter handle the novice and smiles as he leans back in his chair "She has a point, do be careful. The rain shouldn't last too long."

Misu just rolls her eyes as the mouse quickly walks off and almost slips again on the way to the steps. The rain does start to slow a little."Anyhow...where is this..not so magic blade, with Mr. ghost mouse?"

Oz says, "I do not know, Martin does and that will also be where its needed to be when the time is right and Martin shows whom shall wield it, till then we wait"

Misu folds her arms over her chest "I also dislike waiting. Or being stuck inside and that's not just the rains fault its that stoat and his dum evil helpers fault, we should find him and fill him with arrows, and his helpers too."

Oz frowns but speaks "Any Defenders are free to go in and out as they please since they are helping with abbey defenses and I know the base is somewhere near Ferravale if remembering right, Xander told me once but never did take on his offer of going there..maybe one day. As for finding Ormaz was it? It is not that easy even if one wishes it was. I fear things will get worse before they get better"

Misu says, "Yeah..well still be nice to find him and put least 1 arrow in him, only need one if do it right"

Oz says, "If you go out do try and be careful. There is beasts getting captured and even killed in the woods and on the road and it is also wise to not go out alone"

Misu says, "No worries I wouldn't go off alone. I am sure someone would tag along"

Oz says, "I think some of the Defenders are here, somewhere"

Misu says, "Most likely, Karth maybe unless he went to the meeting"

Oz asks, "There was a meeting? For what?"

Misu says, "About gathering more beasts for Defenders and stuff"

Oz says, "Oh well extra help would be nice and I am sure welcomed, trust me we need all the help we can get right now"

Misu nods "Well help is coming, I guess..I mean everyone keeps saying Martin will guild us and what ever, and guess send help in his own way"

Oz nods "And he will, not to worry when the time comes we will know"

Misu again rolls her eyes "Yeah why not know ahead of time we need a champion and we have none and what if this Ormaz just like kills who ever it is before we know, ya know they may need saved or something...yeah see it now shortest rank of Champion ever"

Oz frowns "If Martin has a new champion in mind I do not think he will let them be captured or worse killed"

Misu says, "I hope your right Oz as if martin did say hey look so and so is the champion...then they are slayed, that would be a new kind of take away your hope right there"

Oz sighs as he does worry and maybe more now as he mutters a prayer.."Martin protect the beast you led to us , do not let this new champion fall...keep them safe till they get to us and safe till you get your blade into his or her paws"

Log:

Benar stands by the pond and quietly watches the ripples go across the pond as a light wind blows. It is evening and fairly late as most are sleep in their beds.

Zolomon is awake and yet again stealing a pie, this one a pear pie with honey as he stops, he blinks as he sees the abbot and walks over "Wot ya up still for Abbot B?"

Benar gasps softly and turns to see the hare. His tail slightly puffed out as he closes his eyes and speaks "Zolomon...its you, please do not sneak up on a beast like that" He opens his eyes and frowns "You know Friar Lacota doesn't like his pies taken from the kitchens"

Misu steps into view, gee is she awake also"You should show respect to the abbot, its Benar not B...you are a rude hare" She speaks to Zolomon.

Zolomon frowns "Sorry Abbot B..."He blinks at the sea otter and looks at the pie and tries to put it behind his back "Pie?"

Benar offers a soft smile "I believe its behind you, now both of you come here and sit by me and it's ok Zolomon I am just not use to other beast up this late"

Misu shakes her head but does go over slowly and sits in front of the abbot" I like late hours when no one is around to bother me."Her tone ever so monotoned.

Zolomon says, "Lass..you are a strange beast" He walks over and sits, sitting the pie down "I guess I have to put the pie back...."He gives those sad eyes like please no "I..I could share it..wot ya say?""

Benar chuckles and nods "Why not a good late night snack " He sighs as if something else is on his mind.

Misu hmmphs at Zolomon and eyes the pie, "What kind of pie?" She looks at the abbot "What is the matter, you seem more than tried"

Zolomon nods "Pear and honey...and she has a point Abbot B..ya ok ?" He smiles and has...his own silverware or maybe he took it also and offers the abbot some pie on a paper towel, and a fork "Pie always jolly well cheers me up"

Salamandastron: Dining Chamber

Benar smiles and takes a bite "Thank you Zolomon and...I do have a lot on my mind, this trouble on the road lately. Its been quiet and that worries me. I don't wish any other bad news but fear we will get some sooner or later"

Misu will eat some pie if its offered, but is quiet for now. She waits and speaks "Xander did go to a...meeting. I think involved recruiting more Mossflower Defenders..which is good"

Zolomon suffs some pie in his mouth and seems to not want to talk but..."Well..yeah no one bally well wants bad news Abbot B...no one."

Benar nibbles some pie "No, no one does. But I feel Martin is guilding help to us, we just have to wait."

Misu says, "we wait on a lot...this is just one of the things to wait on"

Zolomon says, "I jolly well hope so, I mean help be nicely taken."Another bite of pie "You think I could help on the wall tops tonight Abbot B?"

Benar nods "If you wish Zolomon you may. As long as you are not tried that is I do not want sleepy beasts on the walltops"

Misu says, "I walked the walls earlier, all seemed quiet..well crickets were out but otherwise...quiet"

Zolomon blinks at the sea otter "Unless Ormaz has a trained army of crickets I am not bally well worried lass and I am not tried Abbot B..."He grins as its clear he is wide awake "I am good fer a night shift, sort of sleep a little too much today and may as well do something useful than just sit around" He gets a 2nd piece of pie. There is 4 left after the abbot and Misu had one and well the hare had two.

Benar finishes his one piece but doesn't get a 2nd one as he is just enjoying some company.

Misu says, "Besides eating pie...then hares always act like they are staving ta death"

Zolomon frowns "Rude lass...very rude"He gets a 3nd piece and looks at the 3 left but leaves them alone for now."I need energy ta protect the walls lass...food is energy" Yeah he takes a 4th and starts to eat it too, two pieces left "Ummm ya two can have those..."He smiles, what he does share.

Benar smiles as he slides one to Misu and he gets one "Thanks Zolomon just do not eat too much I also do not want any ill beasts on the walltops."

Misu decides to go ahead and have the 2nd pie piece, it is good as she just shakes her head, hare are bottomless pits she thinks to herself .

Zolomon nods "I am fine. We hares are tough we are." He grins and finishes his pie snack and stands"Well I am off ta the wall tops"He bows and walks off, he will need his longbow if he is on the wall tops tonight.

Misu mutters "Bottomless pits..."

Benar chuckles as he hears Misu and smiles "Hares do eat a lot that is true, so how is your evening Misu if I may ask?"

Misu normally would walk off or maybe slap a beast but she just shrugs, then replies "Its..evening..why do you ask?"

Benar says, "I like to make sure all beasts in my abbey are ok and your one of the beasts in my abbey"

Misu sighs, she dislikes speaking sometimes but respects the abbot "I am doing fair enough. I don't worry about...many beasts.."He finishes her pie before speaking again "Troubles are not easily stopped or maybe they are and worse ones come"

Benar nods "Well I am in my office if you ever want to talk, you only have to come and knock"He stands and collects the plates and pie tin "I should get back to my quarters, good night Misu" He walks on to his room, he will be awake for another hour before sleep finally comes to him.

Misu watches him walk off and thinks on his words and then just stares at the pond as she sleeps also, right here beside the pond as its a good enough place as any and beasts here already know if they wake her...they regret it quickly.

You are surrounded by dark green foliage, white blossoms, and a veritable maze of branches. Here the trunk splits into two sections, creating a natural, moss covered seat for a weary beast to sit and rest. There is a hollow of sorts within reach. Occasionally, white petals flutter past you on their way to earth.

From here, you can see the sun setting over the Abbey walls.

It was a lovely day, a light misty rain keep it cooled down today and it seemed the rain would stop soon enough and give way to some sun, but in the tree house with its shade hanks to the branches above the tree house, it was a good temperature inside the tree house, and usually cooler than down in the orchards themselves. This is where Kenya and a few dibbuns were early this afternoon.

Atvi was busy making paper cutouts of what looked like dasiies and hanging them up around the tree house Colors of white and blue daisy like paper flowers.

Benar picked this time to check on the dibbuns and watched them quietly "Well seems I found missing dibbuns, most are in inside the dibbun's room." He stays by the doorway for the time being.

Kenya looked over, she was reading a book on woodworking, for her age she read a good deal and was a bit above some other older dibbuns...well she was still a dibbun for now even if she was one of the older ones. 4 other dibbuns were here three mice and a vole all seemed surprised the abbot was here and one spoke "We notta lost...we notta spiking classes, this a free day..."

Atvi blinked and looked at a vole beside him so counting himself and Kenya, 2 voles and 3 mice a small group of 7 dibbuns was here all most got into a small huddle and spoke quietly "He no know password".."Do we has password?" Silence as they seem to not know and glaces at the abbot.

Benar smiles and steps inside "Its looking nice inside, maybe a little more decoration, some paint maybe..."He chuckles "I am sure you would give the abbot the password." The rain outside has come to a stop now but some drops fall here and there as a breeze blows the tree branches now of the rain water left behind.

Kenya sighs as she stands "I don't think they even have a password and we have paper flowers on the walls and on strings up there" She points up the white and blue paper flowers "They are nice but no painting?" A couple mice go hug Benar and smile "Cans we make pictures?" "Pink" " No blue" One grins and spreads out their arms "A rainbow!!!" The dibbuns giggle.

Atvi just frowns "Flowers?" He then giggles "Picturs of bugs!!" A couple look at him like yeah...no, but one thinks its a neat idea as he smiles "You know...ants...hee heee..hoppers...." "Hopper?" He pulls a grasshopper out of his pocket."Hopper"

Kenya makes a face"Ewwwwww....who wants pics of bugs...maybe butterflies"

Benar listens as he smiles "Maybe we can have a little of all of that painted on the walls."He then smiles again "And I may know a good password if one is needed " He whispers to Atvi and nods, waiting for replies to his ideas.

Atvi grins and giggles as he shares the password with the others, its a secret so only the dibbuns and the abbot know , the other dibbuns seem to like it also "We let you come when ever wants Abbot Ben..nar" He smiles as he says the name, slowly yes but he says it. "So we cans we paint walls, they too plain" Yeah its just brown walls and some white along the edges, sort of boring.

Kenya shrugs "Its an..ok password I guess and it is hard to figure out"She smiles "Yeah we can we paint? Can we do it today? Can we paint can we , can we, can we????"

Benar chuckles "Well there is lunch to still have, wait right here" Ge heads down the tree and is gone about half ab hour before he returns with a knapsack over his back and slips it off, he gets out some packs of sliced apples and pears, sliced cheese and rice cakes. He also has some flasks of cold apple juice as he smiles"There is also some cheese pasties and I managed to get sugar cookies. We can all have lunch up here today while the others eat inside, then we can get some paint and paint the inside of the tree house, how does that sound?"

Atvi smiles as he jumps up and down. Then he seems sad when the abbot leaves but hey he returns with lunch and cookies! The cookies are the best part as he nods."Yeah!!!"

Kenya helps to pass out lunch and sits down to sip her drink and nibble some food"Thanks you Abbot." She swallows and speaks "Where do we get the paint? We need a lot of colors"

Benar takes a sip of juice and nibbles a pastry as he smiles "Your welcome and I rarely get a day off myself, I decided today was my day off and I am the abbot after all so I can do that and I also rarely get to spend time with the dibbuns. And yes we will need many colors which I am sure is somewhere or if not they can be made"

Kenya smiles proudly as she speaks

Kenya says, "The three primary colors are red, yellow, and blue"

Kenya says, "The three secondary colors are green, orange, and violet but you mix the first three...2 of each to make them and other colors use black or white to make them"

Atvi says, "Red blue make green" Another smiles "Yellow and red make orange" And " blur red makes...makes...pretty""

Benar says, "Purple yes blue and red make purple"

Atvi smiles as he and the dibbuns were learning their colors and stuffed a cookie into his mouth.

Kenya rolls her eyes "Don't put a who

Atvi frowns and just stuffs another one into his mouth, other dibbuns get a cookie also but one is nice and saves one for Benar and hands it to him as the dibbun vole sits beside the abbot.

Kenya makes a face as she eats a cookie but she takes small bites of her cookie and dunks half into her juice and finishes the cookie.

Atvi has cookie all over his paws and smirks as he goes to get it all in Kenya's headfur

Kenya eyes go wide and she screams loudly and spills her juice all over her shirt and gasps as she stands from sitting down "Aghhhhhhhhhh....no now I need a bath!"

Atvi just laughs and grins"Hee hee...you need a bath."He wipes the rest on his own shirt.

Kenya snorts "Ohhhh...when Abbot Benar gets back in are SOOOOOO in trouble or worse yet I will just tell Papa Oz what you did"

Atvi frowns and pouts "You is mean"He states simply and frowns, then a quiet "Sorrys"

Kenya looks over "What ...did you say?"

Atvi frowns and hugs her, yep he is still gross all over "Me is sorry Kenya...no tell on me pleeeeezzzzzzzz"

Kenya sighs and...ok fine she will hug him back and nods "Okey...just don't do it again...key, we need bath before we paint"

Atvi nods "Then we find...Be...nar?" He smiles "And other dibbuns and we paint tree house?"

Kenya slowly smiles and nods "Yeah...come on you" And she goes to exit the tree house, they will come back with so many paints, some brushes and...cookies!!!!!!

Kakarauri was in a good mood, its clear she liked her new boss better.”Come on we are not far from now.”

“You do not give the orders, I do and I am in charge, of this anyways.”Melantha  declared”So just do as I say still”

Before them was a small group of mice, about 5 and a couple moles as well with some carts of spices, herb, a few odds and ends and some wild honey “So how close are we to the market?” One mouse said “I think we should of went left at the last turn off and we went right instead so maybe we should turnaround?”

Stormfang watches off to the side, with him is 4 rats as he waits on an order of  what to do.

Kakarauri smirks “Oh? Well..Ormaz is now leader and it seems there is no Black Rose”

Melantha  says”I don't care, I say there is STILL the Black Rose, then joining thing is temporary”Her tail wags “I dislike it and who is this Shadow anyways?”

Stormfang shrugs “There is....ummm...some others but they only had like ...5, they joined us, don't know”

Meanwhile the two mice argue over who got the direction wrong, one of the other mice head towards some berry bushes...that are close to the vermin, a little too close.

Melantha just snorts and  rolls her eyes, as she sees the mouse she grins and waits quietly, as the mouse reaches down to fill a basket up she will wait till its half full and then goes to grab the mouse as she heads to another bush.

Kakarauri just snorts at Stormfang and then notices the lone mouse and looks at the others as she smiles coldly “Lets help them find someplace to rest Stormfang” She doesn't care she decides to order the rats to surround the little group of mice and moles.”Its so..unsafe to travel after all and it will be dusk soon”

Stormfang just frowns and then nods”The..oh yeah the woodlanders..they don't need help and we are the bad guys....”But he does go help to surround the mice.

Falk gets ready to swoop down if needed, in case panic happens which likely it will.

And one mole sees the rats and points, which starts a panic as the mice scream, the mouse maid the cat grabbed has no time to scream as she tries to flee and fails “Don't..hurt me”

Melantha just tightens the hold and ties the mouse up “Don't scream and you won't get hurt”

Kakarauri seems to be enjoying the panic and cackles as she watches the rats grab the two moles and another mouse leaving just two mice that manage to slip away down a path. And the marten spots them and gives chase.

Stormfang sneers “You lot should thank us and not to worry all your stuff we will like..keep safe.”

In the shadows something lurks and watches the two mice quietly, what ever it is is not seen very easily as it seems to blend in nicely with the trees and bushes, the shadows as well.

The two mice, from and its the two that were arguing “Which way..maybe, maybe the abbey is close...which way!”His friend grabs his paw “I think I know where we are and I know  A shortcut!” Threw some thorn bushes and along a small path, but in the distance of the thick trees could very well be seen the tip of one of the abbey walls? Its hard to say its still not that close and down a little path and across a ditch looks like.

Kakarauri stops close by and seems unsure of following them its just edgy all of a sudden.

Falk helps guard the mice and moles that are captive.

Melantha ties the woodlanders to their own cart “Well we have new slaves and some supplies it looks like.”

Stormfang nods and looks around 'Wasn't there 2 more mice Bos....or not boss I mean”

The figure that's hidden is sudden in front of the mice and they don't stand a chance as he leaps and attacks. A scream is heard and then its quiet, some rustling and out of the woods is Crayson the monitor claws and fangs clearly showing, as well as proof the two mice clearly didn't escape “Tell Ormaz I shall be a little late. These two mice were so nice to join me..for lunch” He then walks back to the woods off the path.

Melantha ears go flat as she backs off “Ok..lets get the 3 mice and 2 moles on to the base...now is good”

Stormfang agrees and quickly follows.

Kakarauri  chuckles coldly as she finds delight in this, she smiles to the captives “Your friends picked the wrong path it seems...welcome to the rank of slave.” She pushes them forwards as they head back to the base and smiles coldly as the new slaves cry and shiver in fear as well as shock of what just happen to their friends.
