We all remember how awkward Zuko was when he tried to join Team Avatar. (If not, here is a fun little reminder.) Well, I'll try to be less awkward than that. Because first impressions are important, right? Right. ....which means I've already blown it. Darn.

Let me start over. Hi there. My name is Anne. (Also known as Milady, Scribe, Milady Scribe, the Border Lass, Lassie, Hey You, etc.) I have been interested in roleplaying games since my big brother first introduced me to D&D. In the ten years since I have also discovered text-based roleplaying and live action roleplaying. Now I've found you guys! Since I do happen to be entirely new to the MUCK format, I ask that you be reasonably patient with me as I learn. In return I promise not to be a jerk (if I do inadvertently step on any toes, please let me know right away so I can fix it) and to learn as quickly as possible so you don't have to baby me for too long.

Umm, let's see... If it's not apparent already, I'm a teensy bit of a (HUGE) nerd. I can also get pretty sarcastic, but I don't mean any harm by it; sometimes my snark just overflows a bit. I'm religious but promise not to be pushy about it. I am a Navy brat who's seen just enough of the world to want to explore the rest. But since traveling takes a lot of money, until I win the lottery I'll be doing most of my adventuring via roleplay. My character is Gwin: spurred on by her shadowed past, the good-hearted grey fox is driven to complete a mysterious quest.
